Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed with the service. After waiting for over an hour and then another 15 minutes in the dental chair, the Dr. Comes in and says that he can not perform any services to my father's oral surgery due to his underlying health issues. We were then turned over to a office person over a tablet In the room and we were told to contact another facility or hospital. No paper work just told to go to the hospital website and seek to be admitted as a new patient. My father was disappointed and felt that he was charged for nothing since he did not get any service. I was not expecting this kind of service to an elderly person who has to pay a copay and did not receive any service. I will definitely contact my father's insurance to file a complaint and notification on this office patient service.

Experiencia negativa: Worst experience I have ever had at a dental office! I went in as a new patient, I arrived at my appointment 20 minutes early the check in process was great and as soon as they took me in for my ex rays and that’s where the appointment went south. The kid doing my ex rays was not very gentle taking the photos. After he asked if I had any concerns about my teeth I let him know that one of my veneers had fallen out and I wanted to know if they could reattach it. This kid did not know what a veneer was and asked me if I could spell it out for him so I did. After the X-rays I was put into a room where I was told a dentist would meet with me virtually through the screen inside the room. 10 minutes pass, 30 minutes pass and nothing. Finally, the receptionist comes after waiting almost 40 minutes to tell me the Dentist is delayed and would take about another 30 minutes for my virtual consultation. I was offered a later appointment or to reschedule, at that point I was already disappointed so I left. I don’t plan on going back.

Experiencia negativa: This place is a grift! 1.The evaluation is made via FaceTime with someone who was not a dr. 2.Scheduled a specialty appt with a referral from my insurance under the impression they were contracted and would follow the insurance fee schedule. Well when it came to review the treatment plan, they states the OS was not in network for treatment only for evaluation and if we wanted the treatment it would be as out of network. Why would they accept specialty consults knowing their drs can't perform the service? To grift the consult fee of course. 3. They added an unnecessary process to the treatment plane because they knew it wasn't covered and would be an out of pocket cost. Cuz why would a wisdom tooth "require" a bone graph if no reconstructive treatment was following? To charge those $600 since all the insurance pays it is $120 for the extraction. Save your time and money and go to a dr that is not looking to monetize from your pain. I've worked in dental offices and dental insurance processing for over 10 yrs, I know what I'm talking about when I tell yall they are grifters.

Experiencia negativa: Checkup and cleaning appointments are always made separate, requiring 2 visits at a minimum. The dentist that reviews your check-up is remote, so you have to wait in some queue until they are available to talk to you over the internet or make a separate appointment, and they often try to upsell on their flouride treatment and other products which I did get for my kids, but required more visits to the dental office and didn't end up preventing cavities for them. Appointments often require 1-2 months of advanced planning, making any appointment changes is painful since an ortho appointment which should be every 6 weeks is now 3 months apart. What I do like is they are organized and have call center service promptly available and return calls quickly, and try to resolve any appointment or insurance issues immediately.

Experiencia negativa: Scheduling an appointment has proven to be a challenging experience. Each inquiry I make seems to necessitate placing me on hold, as the representative appears to be unfamiliar with the services offered by the company. This situation has led me to reconsider whether this option is suitable for me and my family.

Experiencia fantástica: Came here to get my crown done but it seemed instead I need to get an extraction and a bridge. Appointment was right on time, immediately attended by the friendly staff and doctor came immediately and administered anesthesia so I would not feel any pain. 5 minutes later he came back and I got my tooth extracted, process was easy and he gave me the proper medication and clear instructions on what to do next. Few weeks later got a call for an appointment and I came in they took the impression of my tooth for the bridge I would be getting in the future, and applied a temporary crown while I waited for my bridge to be ordered. Everything was efficient. 7-10 later they called me and said the bridge was ready and I came in and they put the bridge in within 30 mins without pain. Now it feels natural as if it were to have been part of my mouth all long. I am very pleased the results and I highly recommend. 5/5. Dr. Toosi was the best!

Experiencia negativa: Terrible service!! I would never recommend this dentist to anyone! They charged me for a service, without getting the full scope of what needed to be done, and then when it was time to get the tooth serviced, they mentioned that it was gonna cost a lot more money, which was never initially done I’m guessing because they have you speak to computer screens when you see a dentist instead of the actual professional dentist to come in physically examine the problem, they use robots to figure out where the problem is in your tooth and it’s not the same! Bottom line is they were supposed to refund me over a month ago and I still haven’t received anything! Every time I call I feel like I get an attitude about it lying saying they’re gonna refund me and when I asked to speak to a management, they say they’re in a meeting, they’re in a meeting every day I guess! I haven’t gotten any money back! At this point I had to make a dispute with my card company! Don’t go to the dentist they try to make it seem like they’re one of the best dentist and they’re really not!!

Experiencia positiva: If you took your car to a mechanic and they told you it had some electrical problems and it'd cost $500 to repair would you know that was true? Maybe. This place is like the mechanics of dentists. They will try to sell you on membership services beyond what your insurance covers. They will tell you it's necessary (or at least beneficial) but would you know if you *need* that work done? Would you know if your insurance covers a different treatment, but they want you to buy their own at a greater cost? Maybe. With that said, I did not have any problems with the actual dental work.

Waited over an hour and people that came in after us with later time appointments were seen before my kids. After expressing concern to the front desk they said there’s still one person ahead of you. I called my insurance and changed providers. If you want to waste your time please go here. If you value your time look elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: Recently had a cleaning at the dentist . I gave it 2 stars because of the 30 minute wait I experience because someone forgot I was in the room . Also I’m paying 600 for a cleaning . Seems alittle excessive for what they are doing . The breakdown of the procedure is broken down into quadrants for my mouth . Which multiplies the cost 4 times . In my opinion procedure prices are inflated for insurance claims and therefor falling on the patience who’s insurance does not cover that type of procedure . Haven’t decided if I’ll go back since the cleaning is done in two session . Weird to have 2 sessions for a cleaning , another way to itemize cost and charge insurance more . My point is , a cleaning shouldn’t cost 600 plus and take two days. My teeth are also not that bad just in case you need context .

Experiencia negativa: Today's visit was good and bad. The service was for photos in order to see the progress of my Candid aligners. The technician assigned to me was friendly but after starting the process, a young woman from the front desk came to my technician and pulled him to the side and whispered something to him. He asked her was this regarding my plan or something of that nature and she said yes. I overheard something about insurance but nothing was explained to me directly. It made me uncomfortable as I waited for her to whisper what I believe was about me. I've visited the Long Beach location and came to Downey because of the convenience. In the past, if there was something to be said regarding my treatment, I was included in the conversation. After my photos were done, I even stopped by the front desk to ask if there was a problem with my insurance, just to clarify but the same young lady that came to whisper had no answer for me. She seemed unsettled that I even asked her anything, which seemed off to me. In fact, the other woman at the front desk assured me that my insurance was fine. I'm sorry that I didn't get any names but my appt was on 3/19 at 10:10am if that helps. This interaction that interrupted my photo scan was uncalled for and my opinion very unprofessional. The young man did his job, but I didn't appreciate how everything went overall.

Experiencia negativa: Worse experience ever. The Dentist Nadia does not know what she’s doing. It took her 8 months to replace two crowns . And just could not get it right. She blame her incompetence in the Dental Lab. She try time after time and just could not getter right. Useless. And the front desk don’t even know how to make appointments have cero knowledge of how to run an office. Horrible Dental Office.

Experiencia negativa: Don’t waste your time going to Dr Zak, Downey. On Dec 3rd I waited 2 hours for my first visit. It was supposed to include X-rays and a consultation. After a two hour wait they informed me they would not have a consultation with me! They said the Dr would call me within two days for an over the phone consultation. I’m still waiting! Save yourself the aggravation and move on to the next Dentist. This one aggressively overbooks and doesn’t seem to care how it effects the patients!

Experiencia negativa: My daughter is receiving treatment from the orthodontist department. Treatment is going well, but I am extremely disappointed in the way The billing department has been handling my acct. When were they going to mention that they continued to charge me once I paid my daughter’s braces off? Thankfully, I have things written down and I know how much I’ve paid and what the balance of my daughter’s .Once I tried to get a hold of the overpayment department, they gave me the runaround, saying how they had to reach a supervisor so they can look into it. It’s been over a month and I’ve yet to hear from anyone With an actual solution. I keep getting tossed back from one person to another with no answer.

Experiencia negativa: Worst dentist experience ever. I would give 0 starts if I could. 12/6/24 Had an appointment for 10:40am. Didn’t leave until 12:45pm with no cleaning done. Only X-rays were taken and never saw a provider in person, but mind you through a video call. My appointment was for a regular cleaning and NEVER got it done. Asked the insurance lady what was the whole point of me making an appointment and waiting for so long if they didn’t schedule me for it. Her response was that l would have to make a new appointment for that. Left furious it’s an understatement, but they’re so pushy about selling their products with no interest for 12 months. Called my insurance and reported this place. Please do not waste your time with these people you’ll be there for 2hrs just for X-rays and be “seen” by a provider that never checks on you in person but talks to you through a zoom meeting!

However when I explained this they argued that the code didnt' add up. Even though the description clearly states what it was for. Turns out I was right and double paid. Stephanie at the Whittier office said I would be refunded within 10 days. It's been over a month and no refund. All my phone calls have been ignored. They are ghosting me. - Good luck to anyone needing help from their admins..
