Experiencia fantástica: Love this place! From the time you enter the office, you are greeted warmly and then surrounded by light and beauty in the thoughtfully procured and decorated waiting room. Everyone seems to be happy and content in their jobs which speaks volumes. Dr. Forbes is kind and extremely competent. Now this practice is definitely not the least expensive option however, I would recommend going with them before you have to have something redone/fixed by them that was incompetently done by another dentist’s office. I recently found them during an online Google search for biological dentistry. I drive from Huntsville, AL, to Cool Springs, TN, which is about an hour and 45 minutes one way and it is 1000% worth it!! I only wish I had found them before I had a tooth pulled, and an implant put in by an oral surgeon. I’ve also had several cavities addressed by the dentist I’ve been going to for over 3 years who I completely trusted. Two of those fillings began hurting whenever I would floss or press on the tooth’s surface. Dr. Forbes repaired one of those yesterday. I’ve never had such a great experience with a filling before. From the shot to the finished product, it was all done well and in a timely fashion. The tooth repaired yesterday was one that gave me pain every time I bit down and flossed in between. My dentist in Huntsville wanted to open it up and do a sedative filling. It turns out I didn’t need that or the extra fluoride involved with that process. The pain I was experiencing was because the cavity repair material had not bonded properly with my tooth. Dr. Forbes fixed that yesterday and made it possible for me to bite down with no pain as soon as the anesthesia wore off. He also restored the biting surface of my tooth to look & feel like a tooth and to connect and fit in with my bottom teeth in my bite. My previous dentist had filed the tooth down until it would no longer touch, which alleviated a lot of my pain. However, teeth are made to touch. I can now chew and floss without pain thanks to Dr. Forbes!! I had asked Dr. Forbes to give me his opinion about having my dentist redo the other tooth in question especially since there’s now a large gap between the molars which causes food to get stuck every time I eat. (That wasn’t an issue prior to the repair.) He said it was definitely reasonable to ask them to fix it properly. This was my plan until I decided on the drive home that I would ask him to repair it when I go back up to have my implant seated in a few weeks. To be clear, this office doesn’t just do great work. They also provide extremely helpful and educational consultations. They work with clients to help them understand options for re-mineralizing and building strong teeth, and how to foster great oral health overall. Without hesitation, I recommend them and will be telling all my crunchy friends about them.

Experiencia negativa: More than frustrating. Dr. K saved my tooth from a root canal 2 years ago. He was so amazing. When I found out I needed a tooth possibly pulled I decided to go back to Dr. K for a 2nd opinion to sadly find out he moved. (I live over an hour away) I scheduled an appt to meet with Dr. Forbes. Before my appt I came down with a fever & strep throat & called to reschedule. The receptionist said it would be $100 due to cancelling. Here I am with fever & strep & I said “well just forget it then, that’s ridiculous” & hung up. She called back & said “Mrs. Fry, the $100 will go toward your treatment” So, sick as a dog, I have to go get up & get my wallet & pay her $100 to reschedule. During my appt Dr. Forbes stated he thought he could possibly save my tooth. I came in for him to attempt to save it & the DA is choking me with water… in 49 years of going to dentist I have never been choked with water. I had to stop them & ask her to pls hold my tongue down because with them choking me, I could not hold it… she then used something to hold it down that completely tore up my gums. I suffered from horrible ulcers for weeks following the appt. Long story short… he put a temp crown on & I was told I could take a couple weeks to heal & come back in for him to try again. Dr Forbes said I did not owe him anything that day that we would figure it all out when I came back because he was not successful with trying to fill it, as I am leaving the girls at front desk tried to demand a payment & when I said Dr. Forbes said we would settle everything when I came back, they made me wait to go & ask him… he confirmed I was telling them the truth. When i finally healed from ulcers & called to come back in she said it would be August before he could see me. So 3 months they wanted me to have a temp crown when my tooth is all messed up. I asked multiple times if Dr. Forbes could pls just call me because I really do not think the front desk understood what was going on. They never called me back. A week or more goes by & I call back & to try to schedule again & same thing, AUGUST… She literally said “ due to summer & vacations” Then had the gall to tell me I had to pay $600 for the appt when I still had no clue if Dr. Forbes would be able to even save the tooth. She said well, you have to pay that to come back in & it can go toward future services. WHAT!!?? I asked if Dr Forbes could pls just call me at his convenience & she said no. Beyond frustrating & the most unprofessional situation ever.

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately my experience here was disappointing due to poor communication and unwelcoming staff. I scheduled an appointment here for a second opinion on whether I may need extractions and implants. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. First, the child policy included in the intake paperwork was off-putting. Not everyone has access to childcare or family support, and sometimes bringing a child is unavoidable, especially for a consultation appointment. I understand that children can make appointments more complicated, but the tone of the policy (including the suggestion that children contribute to patient anxiety) felt unnecessary. More concerning was how unwelcome I felt during the visit. With the exception of one staff member, the interactions I had with the team were surprisingly cold and rude. I ultimately left the appointment in tears, which was very upsetting and not at all the calm, supportive environment I expected when seeking care for a stressful dental issue. I have truly never felt so unwelcome somewhere. Another major issue was communication. It was never mentioned when I scheduled the appointment that the doctor who performs the extractions and implants is leaving the practice at the end of the month. Had I known that, I would not have scheduled the consultation because my family’s schedule would not allow treatment within that short timeframe. As a result, the consultation ended up being essentially pointless for my situation, and I will now need to schedule and pay for another consultation elsewhere with a provider who can actually perform the procedures I may need. I do appreciate that the doctor who is leaving the practice kindly waived the appointment fee, which I’m grateful for. However, overall the experience was disappointing enough that I cannot recommend this office.

Experiencia fantástica: I visited Dr Forbes, due to a cracked tooth and a broken tooth. His staff is very professional, courteous and really put the patient first. When Dr Forbes entered the room, he answered all my questions with solid information. The x-ray ensured the roots for both teeth were still good. He chose a holistic approach - no mercury or foreign objects added, just repaired my teeth so they’d be fully functional. Even offered to make a mouthguard. One visit and within an hour and 45 minutes, my cracked tooth had the filling taken out and replaced, my broken tooth was cemented back in (thankfully, I kept it). I am good as new and grateful for experience.

There was a large chart painted on the wall showing the teeth and the corresponding organs associated with them! What a surprise to find such an endorsement for a holistic approach to dentistry! The hygienist Miriam did a thorough job informing me about my teeth and how I can enhance my oral health AND she did a super job cleaning my teeth. Then Dr. Kukreja carefully examined my teeth, the X-rays and the photos. He was kind and listened carefully to my questions and concerns. I highly endorse this mercury and fluoride free zone.

They had just moved into their new office location, which is beautiful and easy to find. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Crissy was who I saw for the implant consultation. She was thorough and professional from start to finish. She took the time to review my CBCT scan, answer all my questions, and explain the procedure. Even after the consultation, when I’ve had additional questions, she’s been prompt in replying / returning my phone calls. Overall my experience was positive!

Experiencia negativa: UPDATE: 10/2025 This place is absolutely terrible to customers. My very first visit was met with blatant mistreatment over a billing error made by their own staff. When I pointed out the mistake, Dr. Forbes’ wife—who also works there—responded with open disdain and zero accountability. Fast forward to today: I had a cleaning scheduled but called to cancel after my child fell ill. The office said they’d charge me $95 for canceling, so I told them I’d keep the appointment and come as planned with my child in tow, even though she's sick. Instead of handling the situation professionally, Dr. Forbes instructed his staff to cancel my membership entirely, claiming my response was “hostile.” So much for all the “Jesus loves you” plaques and Christian décor plastered around the office. The hypocrisy is stunning. Dr. Forbes and his wife are dishonest and unprofessional. Their business practices are shady, and their service is subpar at best. #### The Experience - **Exam and Cleaning (5/5)**: Standard service, elevated by a thoughtful biological approach to dentistry that I genuinely valued. - **Customer Service (2/5)**: Disappointing, largely due to the owner’s wife. A simple billing mix-up exposed a lack of professionalism. #### The Incident - **Context**: Booked months ago with a membership pricing explained, I filled a last-minute slot. Paid the non-member rate, requested an adjustment, and met resistance. - **Response**: The owner’s wife's irritation was clear; it took three staff ten minutes to fix it. I noted her annoyance and mentioned it to her in front of jher staff—she didn’t respond. After thanking the team, the wife ignored me as she passed by -felt immature. #### Insight - **Benefit of The Doubt**: Office transition and staffing trainings may explain the tension, but leadership should rise above, not sink below. - **Tennessee Vibe**: Some local businesses here seem entitled, slow to solve simple issues—fine if you’re from here, less so if you’re not. #### Next Steps - **Follow-Up**: I’ll return in six months for my next cleaning and update my review, hoping for growth over stagnation. This wasn’t just about a bill—it was about maturity and professional decorum. We'll see.....

My recent appointment was a followup after another dentist’s office recommended pulling or performing a root canal on my two bottom front teeth. I was having no issues with these teeth and the previous dentist didn’t even check the teeth or ask any questions other than are you having any pain? I was quickly herded into a consultation room to schedule and discuss payment terms. I’m so thankful I declined and sought a second opinion. I found this office through an internet search. Turns out I have no problem with my teeth! I had a very thorough review and scans with Dr. K during my last appointment and a gentle pain-free cleaning with Miriam at this appointment. I drive 2.5 hours to this office, but it is well worth the drive. The office is very comfortable and the staff are very friendly. I won’t be going anywhere else!

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely one of the best dental experiences of my life. Before coming to CAD, I was a patient at Sweet Truth for 2–3 years. Over the span of those few years I was told I had four cavities. I have only ever needed two fillings in my life, so I found it suspicious that new cavities kept “appearing” once I started going to Sweet Truth. I got two fillings done there, but after they told me I had two more I decided to visit CAD for a second opinion. As I suspected, CAD confirmed I don’t have any cavities at all, and now I’m left wondering if the first two fillings were even necessary. From the moment I walked into CAD, I could not have asked for a better experience. The office was so clean and calming. My appointment started on time. My hygienist, Katie, was so knowledgeable and did a great job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Forbes was warm, personable, and took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. You can really tell that the people here care about their patients and are passionate about what they do. My only regret is not switching to CAD sooner. Maybe I would have saved myself from unnecessary dental work and spending quite a bit of money. I’m not normally big on leaving reviews, but hopefully sharing my experience will help someone else avoid what I went through. I am so happy to have finally found a dentist that is not only trustworthy but also truly holistic!

I've been to several dentists that seem to push the most invasive and expensive treatments without concern for real health, and this practice feels the opposite. They have all the technology but are thoughtful and conservative about treatment - perfect! My next appointment is already booked!

Experiencia fantástica: I first met Dr. K the beginning of 2025 after 9 months of traumatizing dental work being done on me at a more conventional practice in Spring Hill. The other practice left me in pain with an ill fitted crown, and mid treatment told me the 4 fillings I needed should now be crowns and I also needed a root canal. I couldn't imagine letting them put another crown in my mouth so I thought I'd give CAD a try and scheduled a second opinion. Within a couple of months Dr. K adjusted my ill fitting crown- leaving me pain free! He had a much more conservative plan of treatment for the remaining work to be done. 4 crowns and a root canal turned into 4 fillings and a remineralization plan for that last tooth. All of that treatment was accomplished in about an hour, I think? He and Kaitlyn were so kind and didn't belittle the trauma I was left with from my previous dentist. They were patient and so delicate to the touch, really starting a healing journey for me. I have never had such a positive experience with a health care provider in my life. I'm so grateful to have found them.

First was for an initial exam, which went great and I felt so confident that I booked the second appointment for a much needed filling in a large lower molar. I have never been so relaxed getting dental work in my life! Dr. Forbes absolutely loves the work he does and working with his patients that it shows in the great care he takes as if he was working on his own family member. And the work he did on my molar is fantastic! He was so thorough, which I appreciated, as there was a lot of old decay to remove. He was calm, pleasant and patient throughout the work and I felt so at ease! I have another appointment for another tooth and I don't feel any anxiety about it any more! Also, I chose him initially because he studied about and uses only biocompatible materials that don't cause problems in the body. That's how much he cares! I drive two hours to get here because I avoid conventional dentistry.

But I guess the standout thing for me is Dr. Forbes is the kind of dentist you just inherently trust. He doesn’t jump to the worst case scenario, and he genuinely wants to see his patients heal their issues rather than fill their mouths with expensive artificial materials for profit. He was able to help me reverse a cavity that another several dentist offices told me would need another crown. He also practically saved my life when Sweet Truth Dental in Brentwood botched a crown and caused systemic inflammation in my body that I’m still recovering from two years later. Don’t hesitate to trust Dr. Forbes with your teeth. I really can’t say enough nice things about the staff, the hygienists, and the doctors.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Forbes is the best dentist in the area. I had been going to a dentist that was supposedly holistic but wasn’t really so I moved to Dr Forbes. Also another dentist told me I needed a filling and a crown replaced and Dr Forbes told me I didn’t need that if I continued with the remineralization for my teeth as they were not likely to cause any issues.

I had fillings done by a popular “holistic” dentist group, and it debonded causing pain for months with that office saying it was normal to be in pain and I needed to spend hundreds of dollars on a bite guard, though have never had TMJ issues in my life. Thankfully I found Dr. Forbes, and he fixed my filling and am no longer in pain. He is a skilled dentist that actually listens.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an infection underneath a lower molar that was causing severe, radiating pain for 4 days. The office staff went above and beyond to help me be worked in ASAP. They called other clients and found one who was kind enough to give up their appointment time, so that I could be worked in. Since I live in North Alabama, I just couldn't "pop in". The dental assistant was compassionate, and did a great job explaining how the x-ray procedure worked. Dr. Forbes was extraordinarily kind in explaining the x-ray and why I needed an extraction from an oral surgeon THAT DAY. Because the infection was on a major nerve, he felt it would be better to have an oral surgeon remove it. Again, the office staff worked wonders and got me in to an oral surgeon only 30 minutes away. I was amazed at the level of thoroughness and dedication from Dr. Forbes and his staff to help me in a time of great need. I will forever be grateful for their kindness and professionalism in my circumstance. In these days of people being rude and impersonal, the entire staff really shines as top notch professionals.

Experiencia fantástica: I searched for a holistic dentist to get a second opinion and found this office. I’m so thankful I did! I went to a different dental office for a cleaning and left with a treatment plan for a double root canal or pulling of my front bottom teeth. I was shocked to get this news since I didn’t have any trouble or pain in those teeth. Two darker spots showed up in a scan and the team there immediately jumped to the most invasive treatment possible. I will mention that this other office did not do one check in my teeth or gums. I declined treatment and immediately reached out to other dentists and searched for an office that offered alternatives to root canals for a second opinion. I drove nearly three hours to get to this office and it was well worth it. I’ll be a patient for life! All of the staff were very kind and polite. The wait time was short. Dr K was awesome! He listened carefully to my issue and asked questions. He did a thorough examination of my teeth and gums, and he also spent time reviewing my scans. I had to take new scans because the other dentist did not send the correct file to read the disk I took with me. Turns out the spots on my teeth are a very common problem that shows up in women my age, not an infection, and do not require invasive treatment. Dr. K explained in detail his reasoning why he diagnosed me and how he reached the conclusion he did. This office saved my teeth!!! I will always be grateful I found a dentist who cares about his patients and their health and does not push unnecessary and invasive treatments. I have a followup plan to monitor and a plan to work on lifestyle tweaks that will support my dental health and keep my teeth healthy and strong. I would give this office 10 stars if that were an option. I highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Wow, they are amazing! They fixed some dental work that another dentist did. I had vertigo 24/7, went to the ER as I was worried the vertigo was from something very serious. My teeth were still bothering me after two and a half months of them working on my teeth. I went to Center For Advanced Dentistry, and he said oh your alignment is off that is why you have vertigo. And sure enough after he worked on my teeth, my vertigo is going away! I will be able to function again!!! I am so grateful!
