Dr Martin and Kyra we whi we saw today and we couldn't have had a better experience for our daughter! What started iff as her head being buried in my husband neck ended with her doing such a wonderful job and letting them to everything they needed too and then sat patiently while we talked. That bouncey ball that was the icing on the cake! Definitely recommend and we look forward to working with them!

Experiencia fantástica: This was my toddler daughter’s first dentist visit, after hearing wonderful things about this place I felt confident bringing her here. They went above and beyond my already high expectations. Everyone was warm, friendly, kind, and welcoming. Dental assistant Noé was amazing at explaining everything and making my girl feel comfortable- when he got done checking her teeth & brushing she said even said “more.” Dr.Martin was absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Appointment was at 10:20 and we were out at 10:50. They are quick and efficient without making you feel rushed, unheard, or unvalued. I quite literally teared up when I got in the car because I couldn’t believe how pleasant the experience was. I can genuinely say that I fully recommend this place and I see my daughter being excited to come back! Not to mention she’s already so proud of her new toothbrush!

Dr. Martin was recommended, and honestly I didn't have high hopes, as I was coming from such an amazing dental office previously. However, y'all I almost cried on the way home with the amount of compassion they showed us, and how thoughtful they were. Jolie, and Neo took care of us today, and treated my children like capable little humans, the staff and Dr. Martin listened to our pervious plan from the other dentist, and built off of that for the next chapter in my childrens care. From procedure to price, he and his staff had us fully prepared for the extraction appointment. And everything went exactly as they prepared us for! The rooms are themed with wall stickers, huggie pillows and ceiling tvs! Fabulous team! Highly recommended!

We were going to another pediatric dentist out of town prior to this, and we liked them ok, but we appreciate not having to take the long drive. The staff at Sunny Skies are all so gentle, kind, patient, caring, etc etc! They make my child feel so comfortable doing a task that is really hard for him...and he does better each time he comes. They really provide a lot of encouragement and praise. We will go there as long as they will allow us! I have also heard nothing but positive reviews from everyone else that I know that has encountered this practice. A wonderful addition to Wilson.

Let me just say if anyone in the Rocky Mount Wilson area is looking for a pediatric dentist this is the place to go!! As a mom of course I'm paying attention to all of the details from the cleanliness of the floor to how the front staff treats you but more importantly treats other patients around you!! Front staff was very sweet waiting room was perfectly set up for little ones. They even have this cute little note that pretty much says let your kid run wild it's okay I'm sure within reason LOL!! So right off the gate they're literally easing your worries you know you go into a doctor's appointment thinking how is my daughter going to react to this? is she going to be upset? is this going to traumatize her? Before I even could let those worries get out of control we were called to the back, the dental assistant started explaining everything like he was literally reading my mind I am not joking!! He explained the process and how the appointment would go he was really sweet with my daughter and it took less than 5 minutes for the dr. to be right in there with him!! The doctor was so kind and gentle with my daughter as well!! I think it is worth to mention that when he turned around to say "medical jargon" to the dental assistant he immediately turned to me and said "so I just told him.." and explained it to me literally did not even give me a second to panic!! I know this is a long review but it's worth it this is a great place. If you're nervous but you know you have to make that appointment for your little one...make it here:):)

Experiencia fantástica: Sunny Skies Pediatric Dentistry absolutely exceeded every expectation I had. My daughters (8 and 4) were seen by Dr. Martin and dental hygienist/assistants Noe, Jolie, and Kyra, and it was hands down the best dental experience we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, everyone was warm, patient, and genuinely fantastic with each of my kids. The environment alone is a dream for children—every room is decorated exactly the way a kid would want it. Some have video game characters, others have kids’ show characters or sports teams, and every chair has a TV to help take their mind off the visit. My youngest was pretty nervous at first, but by the time she was in the chair, all of her fears were gone because of how kind, gentle, and reassuring the team was with her. Dr. Martin’s energy is incredible—fun, upbeat, and so positive that it sets the tone for the whole office. He didn’t just do a great job clinically; he also went out of his way to be accommodating. He looked for ways to rearrange the schedule and was actually able to get my daughter’s filling taken care of the same day, when we fully expected to have to come back another time. That kind of flexibility and willingness to help is rare. After years of searching for the right pediatric dentist, I can finally say we’ve found our place. My kids are actually looking forward to coming back to the dentist—something I never thought I’d say. We are truly grateful we found Sunny Skies Pediatric Dentistry and this amazing team.

Not only did they keep her name on a short list for cancellations, but they called back within a week of initial call, and then got her back into the patient room promptly. Furthermore, the staff was exceptions. Her dental assistant was kind and joyful. He didn’t push my daughter with all the procedures because it was her first time. Then the dentist came in. My daughter was hesitant at first, but he made her feel very comfortable with his kind and enthusiastic demeanor. The whole appointment took 30 minutes, but it was great. I’ll be taking my boys there too.

Most dentist offices I have tried in the past don’t work well with the younger patients and have rushed work and caused my child dental anxiety. Dr. Martin has gone above and beyond to help ease his anxiety and I am grateful we found his practice. I also have an eleven year old who enjoys seeing Dr Martin and his staff. If you know my oldest, she doesn’t smile much lol but she has at both appointments here. We have made this our dental home and praying Dr Martin and his current staff stays at least the next 18 years !

Experiencia fantástica: There is one word for SUNNY SKIES AND DR.MARTIN--INCREDIBLE. He is the only dentist that answered the phone on a Thursday night at 8pm and met me within minutes to put my baby girl's teeth back after they were knocked out of socket. He was just sitting down to eat dinner and stopped what he was doing to come do emergency stint/work on her at 9 pm at night! We were there for 2 hours and he was so kind, patient, knowledgeable, just truly gifted at what he does! ALSO, A **BONUS**--Dr. Martins WIFE is also a dentist!! Had she not been there with him that night it would have been extremely difficult. Dr. Martin is quick to respond--the DOCTOR called ME immediately after I sent a message to the after-hours numbers with the word "EMERGENCY". This kind of service is rare, and it was way above expectations.

Experiencia fantástica: We live in Nashville and I’ve been on a mission to try and find a nice dentist for my kids because I was adamant that they have a great first dental experience so they wouldn’t grow up and be scared of the dentist like most of us are . I searched and searched And I came across SUNNY SKIES and im so glad that I found them because as a mom I’m super scared of the dentist myself and I don’t want to project that on to my kids I drive all the way from Nashville NC to Wilson NC if that can tell you anything! I want to start by saying the place was Very Clean Very Clean ! , exceptionally Professional , and it had an extremely Kind and friendly atmosphere. We were greeted with welcoming warm smiles from Doctor and staff ,we called to set an appointment on Tuesday and they made time for us the next day on Wednesday !! we even arrived early and we were taken in right away it wasn’t even a wait time at all ! They were not fast paced at all ❤️ AND that was something that I was SOOO scared of everything was done in a timely manner but not fast paced to scare you or the kids and I really TRULY appreciate that they took their time with both of my kids and they made sure they weren’t nervous or scared at all it really made me so happy to see that ! they took both my kids 5 years old and 3 years old at the same time !!! everything went as smooth as it could’ve have possibly gone . My mama nerves were so very nervous and scared for my babies at first but when I tell you it changed my whole perspective once we got in there i could tell my kids were in great hands . My 5 year old was SUPER nervous but the Staff and Dr . Martin comforted him and as a mama I truly am so lucky I picked Sunny Skies for my babies because they set an exceptional foundation for the both of my kids first dentist experience . It was a nice experience for all three of us . And The service was of the highest quality and set a high standard for sure . Unfortunately my 5 year old has a few cavities and is scheduled for treatment plan but everything was explained and talked about before we left I was nervous at first but by the time I left I was reassured that everything will be fine . My kids left with goodie bags and BIG smiles they had a great time at the dentist for the first time this was EXACTLY what I was hoping for I would definitely recommend this establishment to my family and friends I’ve already told a bunch of people about it and I’m so happy I picked Sunny Skies for my children !!!! They triple check everything and make sure they provide you with the most accurate information as far as treatment plans and cost. Much better than the last pediatric dentist office we were referred to. My 9 year old is comfortable going and actually had a pleasant experience.
