Experiencia fantástica: I had my first appointment today at Smile at first sight Dental. From the minute you walk in you just feel so comfortable. The hygienist does a great job. She goes over everything with you makes you feel very comfortable. Explained everything when she’s finished then gets Dr. Gabby in to look at your x-rays. Looks over the cleaning process. And tells you what steps you should take going forward. I am so glad that I found Dr. Gabby and she is my new dentist so if you see The ad on Facebook this is her dentist office smile at first sight dental in Matawan

Experiencia fantástica: I had a cleaning with Jamie today and saw dr Gaby. Best dental appointment I ever had they explained everything being done and made sure I was ok during the appointment.

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately there was little to smile about when my wife came in for a crown. The cost was previously talked about as we have dental insurance. Rebecca in her denigrating fashion decided to tell my wife it was going to cost $291 more as Aetna declined the build up. Aetna actually said they needed pre and post photos and it would most likely be covered. Rebecca also said that the office manager paid out of his own pocket for me which is a new story. An assistant sitting next to Rebecca shaking her head throughout this assault making my wife feel like she was a common criminal trying to rip off the dentist. Dr Taube is an excellent dentist and Justyna is equally fantastic. I will miss them but we will not be subjected to such treatment. It is unfortunate that a great practice is represented by a low class front office. My wife left after being told that she would need to pay the total cost in full upon completion. Horrible experience.

I cried to my best friend and she insisted I go to her dentist! Well..from the moment I called, Rebecca the office manager was beyond helpful, she gave me great info and got me into the office the next day! The whole experience from beginning to my 1st treatment was very pleasant! First had my exam by Dr. Gaby , was honest and very informative, I felt so much better leaving there with options. I have severe dental anxiety and Jamie cleaned my teeth without any discomfort! On my 2ns visit, had to prep for a crown, and Erica assisted Dr. Gaby.both worked well with such a gentleness & compassionate dr. Gaby restored my tooth! Best decision coming to Smile at first sight, I'm so happy I listened to my friend! Im beyond grateful! Its such a beautiful office too! She was honest and was able to fix the veneer that I broke. It was fast, painless and I’m so grateful I didn’t have to spend thousands or hundreds. I highly recommend this practice. They have treated him with the utmost care and concern and even got him a birthday cake when he came in to the office on his birthday! He was hospitalized and they called to check on him. For nervous patients ,they have a comfort menu showing a list of items they will provide to make your visit less stressful. I didn’t need it today, but it’s good to know that in the future I could use any of those amenities. My hygienist, Jamie, was very thorough and informative. I do appreciate when they explain the notes that they’re taking as they examine your teeth. It always sounds so scary, but in my case, it was not thank goodness! Dr. Gabby came in and did her exam. We spoke about future possibilities, but overall my teeth were in good shape! I got my goodie bag and left. I will see them again in six months.. It was a very positive experience.

Their X-rays use AI to identify issues with my teeth and they could mirror the images on the TV in the exam room so I could follow along. I'm happy I found them and will continue as a patient.

Experiencia fantástica: This is an update from my previous post. I’m not sure if Google give a new post for each review. 8/19/25 My family has been with Smile At First Sight for a few years now. Dr. Taube and all the ladies are wonderful. They will work with your schedule and even if something comes up last minute they will work with you. The office is always clean. I have not had any issues with insurance billing. Other dental offices I had been with before, I had to do their job for them to get paid. My husband is not one to go to the doctor or the dentist. But he doesn’t mind going to get his teeth cleaned. He says he learns something new about his teeth each time he goes there. (It’s good news or news to help him keep his teeth healthy). We will be back for our next cleaning soon. We highly recommend Smile At First Sight. (Past review below) My family and I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Taube, her entire staff, and the office. We moved to NJ 3 years ago. I did some research to find a dentist for my family. She had good reviews, and I also saw some of the advertising on FB. I went in first to test the waters. I had no issues. From that day on everyone in my family has gone in for regular check ups and we will continue with our check ups with her. The office is clean and inviting. The ladies (staff and doctor) are wonderful individuals. They become friends and a family at the dental office. My kids are now adults and 1 teen have always see a dentist in the various states we have lived in, and Smile at First Sight Dental is one of the best we have gone to. I highly recommend Smile at First Sight. They will go over benefits, help you out where possible for dental work if you have no insurance. They are not money hungry like some offices. The Dr. Taube and her staff will be honest and give you the best dental care. This is my honest opinion and I was not paid or given any compensation of any kind for my review.

This was the only place that was giving me good information and get me in asap! Originally, I was just booking an appointment for a cleaning with smile at first, and the next availability would be in June. But then One of the staff heard me on the phone about how my tooth was bothering me, she called me back 10 minutes later to try and fit me in just to see the doctor have a look at my teeth sooner! Efficiently run, reminders for appointments text or email, plenty of amenities when you're waiting, goody bag when ya leave, always a smile on the staff. Experiencia fantástica: I started writing this review while I was still in the exam chair! I have had 2 cleanings every year since I was about 3-4 years old… when I tell you this was my best dental experience by far, it’s an understatement. The hygienist took her time, was gentle and caring (going the extra step to numb my gums before the cleaning), extremely informative and inclusive about her process, and what was going on in my mouth! Not only did I feel zero discomfort, but my teeth have honestly never felt this clean and smooth. The doctor was thorough and honest with me. This is NOT the dentist office who is going to try and sell you on things you do not need! 5 stars for sure!

I felt no pain, even when drilling and the dentist herself makes you feel very relaxed and comfortable. She is warm and pleasant. The staff (Rebecca) is absolutely incredible. They make you feel comfortable while you wait. The waiting room is nicely decorated with snacks and drinks, if you want them. I felt relaxed. I got in and out in a very short time. I am actually looking forward to my next appointment. The dentist did a great job on my cracked tooth. I will continue with them for they are professional and caring. I am very very happy with their services never thought I'd say that about any dentist!

Experiencia fantástica: First off when I walked in there, it did not feel like a dentist office. It was inviting and bright and cheery. And first of all, it was very calming. The technician was absolutely wonderful and Dr. Gabby was to the point and gracious. I felt very at ease after speaking with her I started treatment at Smile at First Sight based on my husband's recommendation, as I required extensive dental work following previous subpar care. Although I had scheduled appointments to continue treatment, they were consistently canceled. However, Dr. Gabby and her staff treated me with respect, kindness, and professionalism, refraining from making me feel self-conscious about the necessary procedures. They demonstrated respect for my feelings and financial situation. The staff is exceptionally professional and courteous, making my visits enjoyable. I appreciate the exceptional care provided by Dr. Gabby and her team, and I look forward to continuing my treatment there.

She was incredibly helpful, honored the Groupon deal, and even squeezed me in for an appointment the same day! The check-in process was smooth, thanks to her emailing me all the details ahead of time. The office was very clean and inviting, with complimentary water bottles and snacks in the waiting area, and my 5 p.m. appointment started right on time. The staff was professional and courteous throughout my visit. The dental hygienist took the time to explain everything I needed to know in detail, which is rare at most dental offices. The dentist herself was professional, thorough, and made me feel comfortable. I left feeling confident in their care and will definitely be returning. Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to Dr. Gaby for about 2 years now. She is always so pleasant, knowledgeable and thorough. I have had to have some work done and have always felt comfortable and confident in Dr. Gaby's work. I have found her staff to be exemplary as well. I especially appreciate their schedule coordinating skills. I usually attend my visits on my lunch and they are always amazing at getting me in and out. While her waiting room is beautiful and well stocked I have never waited there long before the appointment commences, which I very much appreciate.
