Experiencia fantástica: I was always terrified of going to the dentist. As such, I didn’t go the the dentist as much as I should have. Fast forward 30 years, and now I was having multiple issues with my teeth. I finally decided to do something, and went for a consultation at Solana Smiles. I found Dr Vakili to be very warm and friendly. She made me feel comfortable, and thats saying a lot considering my past negative experiences. I wound up having implants with full upper and lower arches. It took a little over a year for everything from the initial temporary arches to the permanent ones. We experienced a few minor issues with proper fit, but throughout the process, Dr Vakili kept assuring me that they will make it right. She did, and I’m grateful for her professionalism and perseverance to get everything perfect. I now have beautiful teeth and I’m so thrilled with them. I’m so thankful to Dr Vakili and her wonderful staff.

Experiencia positiva: I don’t believe it’s appropriate to have to pay upfront for future dental services. I was told I needed 2 crowns at a cost of over $4,000. When I was making the appointment, I was told I needed to pay upfront. When I questioned it, I was told I needed to pay at least half. I’m used to paying for services when serviced are rendered.
I’m sorry our upfront payment policy caused frustration. For larger procedures like crowns we require a deposit or partial payment to reserve lab time and materials, which is why you were asked to pay half at booking. We understand many patients prefer paying at the time of service and offer flexible options including payment plans and third‑party financing to help spread the cost. Please contact our billing team at the office so we can review your estimate, insurance coverage, and available payment arrangements.

Experiencia fantástica: I give the credit for my decision to choose Solana smiles to Zsuzsanna at the front desk .I kept calling her with more questions . She always picks up (no recordings) By the time I went in for my surgery , I was completely confident that they knew what they were doing. The facility is state of the art and sparkling clean. I had new teeth the very next day after my “all on four” surgery. Solana Smiles belongs in Hollywood! A movie stars treatment is what I received and I never experienced any pain on any of my visits . Special thanks to the rest of the staff including , Joe, Suzy, and Brian. And of course the Doctors. Special thanks to Dr. Vakili for her expert work ,and for putting up with me. Also thanks to Dr. Chie for her great work as well and for not slapping me upside the head when I bit her finger under anesthesia. Lol. All in all it was a wonderful experience that had me leaving with a brand new SMILE !

I had such a pleasant experience with the staff named Kia (Dental Assistant), and the office manager Sheryl, that I feel compelled to leave a 5 stars review. The office is stunning, super clean and organized, and the 2 ladies and a doctor (too bad I forgot to remember his name) I met are super friendly and patient with me by taking time to take X-ray and answering all my questions. I’m very impressed by their professionalism and knowledge, and I would recommend them to everyone in need of sincere dental care and treatment.
Experiencia negativa: This is the worst awful humiliating disrespectful Implants center experience that i had with calling her self a Azita Vakili D.M.D Solana Smiles & Implant center, she's wants you to right a good review about here Implant Center, this is my experience with her in poway location. My treatment was starting on January 16,2025 costs 12,000 dollars, first they were friendly to you, after about 3 months still my Implants was not ready. It came to about 6 months still my Implants was not ready again, I'm seated inside of her clinic with other doctors and assistant and she came humiliated me telling me about my balance , i was so shocked and embarrassed, i been paying her every month that's supposed to be installment payment right? I do realized this people are not professional they are unprofessional, Sonia the receptionist she's called me that my Implants was held against me, because they want the balance payed off first before I'm getting my Implant it almost one years now 2025 . They taking my Implants hostage, 12/23/25 appointments and payment was paid off costs 12,000$ still my implants wasn't ready for me ,this is coming to end of 2025 and a 2026 years a still don't have my implants ready even been paid off already? This the worst awful humiliating disrespectful Implants center experience that I had with this people. Please be advised don't go to this Solana Smiles & Implant center.

Experiencia fantástica: Did the 'all on x' procedure for my upper arch, and the whole process was absolutely fantastic. I was afraid of not doing the nitrous during extractions, but the alternative was just as effective. The extent of pain I experienced was the bruising in the cheeks, but was gone within 24 hours. I've had little to zero discomfort through the whole process. Will absolutely be back to do the lower arch. The staff was all around excellent as well.

Experiencia fantástica: Very nice, personable, exceptionally competent, professional staff, led by an accomplished dentist (jefe) with decades of experience. Full/complete dental office staffing. Pricing fair. Turnaround on needed dental additions impressively short (they have their own lab). Large, beautifully designed and constructed, contemporary offices, with state-of-the-art equipment. No extraordinarily lengthy waits for appointments. About as good an experience one could expect or hope for at a dentist’s office. Making dental visits is not this senior patient’s favorite activity, but it probably doesn’t get any better than at this one. I recommend Solana Smiles unreservedly and can’t imagine there is a better dental office in SD north county. 5 stars!

Experiencia fantástica: I went in for a second opinion and these dentist were amazing! First of all everybody’s super friendly, which is so nice and their office is sparkly light bright, and clean. Everybody was more human and caring than any other dentist I’ve ever been to. I came in for a second opinion and the two Dentist that I saw Both agreed that the first opinion I had from another dentist was a really good one and since their price was lower, I could choose they would love to do it, but they understand and understood if I use somebody else. I would definitely highly recommend them if it’s nearby for you and you need dental work done.
