Everything was thoroughly explained to me before and after the procedure, which made me feel very comfortable and confident in my care. The procedure itself was quick and went smoothly. I was especially impressed that the surgeon personally called me later that day to check on how I was doing. That extra level of care really meant a lot. I highly recommend this office!

They were fast friendly and professional. It’s been 24 hours and I’ve had a call from a nurse and the surgeon himself to check in on me which is very surprising. This is where you want your dental work done !

I put off calling for so long with my referral on wisdom teeth removal because I have pretty high anxiety with dental procedures, but the second I made the call, I knew I was worrying for nothing. Very friendly receptionist walked me through everything necessary and I got multiple reminders before the date (definitely appreciated as I always question if I heard the appointment information correct). They got me in very quickly, gave me the estimate and I was out of there finished and with recovery instructions before I knew it. Being in my 30s, I was expecting recovery to go a bit more harsh than it has so far, and that's a testament to how good their doctors are! Absolutely no issues post procedure nearly a week out. I would recommend this office and Dr. Van Ermen to anybody and would have zero reservations on any further procedures needed here.

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend the Council Bluffs Oral Surgeon clinic. I saw Dr Schadel for a tooth extraction with IV sedation. He and his staff were professional yet very caring. They answered all my questions and concerns, and sent me home with very thorough post-op care instructions. Definitely where I will go if I need any kind of oral surgery in the future!

This is my kind of place :) Being out of it and not having got all of the information first hand (or remembering it all) this made it great to look back on. Experiencia fantástica: Went in for IV sedation to remove 4 wisdom teeth, a couple were impacted. From my consultation to the day of surgery, there was good communication. The facility was clean, staff were professional and I was sent home with detailed after surgery care instructions. I received a call after surgery from the dentist making sure that I was doing okay. I recommend this place for oral surgery.

Experiencia negativa: Just called in for an occlusal reduction. Something simple, which would require a dentist and what could have been helpful for my health and my speech. But since they don't make enough money on it, I was suggested to see a "General" dentist even though they do extractions and other services. Terrible ethics Mr "Doctor!" to reroute a patient because the service would not bring you the desired "profit". What a shame!

Experiencia negativa: I tried to get a consultation with this company for my teeth. My dentist had recommended them. So I called to schedule my appointment before my appointment came up. They called to reschedule not once not twice not three times not even four times but five times by the fifth time I had to tell them I was gonna go to it. Another company the fact that they don’t care whether I lose my job or have to keep rescheduling. This tells me that they are awful people that don’t care about their patients just the money would highly recommend going someplace else

Experiencia negativa: My son who is in the Marine Corps reserves had to reschedule his appointment because I wasn't aware he had duty this weekend. When I called to reschedule i asked about any charge at the time of the consult and was advised it is 150 dollars, which that seems excessive for a consult. I was also ad that it would be needed at the time of rescheduling because of canceling the day of appointment. I found out Wednesday night when he came home from college for the holidays and your office was closed and it was closed the next day for Christmas. Also I would think there would be more understanding with military duties. I will find a different oral surgery clinic to handle my son's wisdom teeth removal

I feel like my dentist Dr. Scheedl (spelling?) was friendly and worked at trying to make a bad tooth into a tolerable experience. I would recommend them to anyone needing more advanced dental work.

Experiencia negativa: Dental work was phenomenal. Billing is a disaster. They charged me prior to any work being done and then sent a bill that doesn't account for the full pre-payment. I called to correct it and they waited a month and sent the exact same bill. Horrible experience on the finance side of things.

Experiencia negativa: They made sure to ask where I was originally hurt in a horribly botched surgery which just so happened to be unmc (lucky me) and then quickly told me that they couldn't help me after that. I ended up needing to get an alveoplasty to get infection out of my jawbone in Ia. City shortly after they denied care.

Experiencia negativa: The office staff was fine during my son’s procedure, but since have been very short/dismissive when I inquire about getting reimbursed for my over-payment. They work with all these insurance companies and should have a better “ballpark” estimate on what the client/patient should have to pay. They require payment in full at the time of the surgery, and I paid over double of what my portion should have been. I received all my statements indicating what was paid to them from insurance, but when I call, “something” is still pending…but cannot identify what exactly is pending. This isn’t like I am waiting on $20…I had to pay over $1000 at the time of surgery and my part was only about $500. Never had anything like this ever happen. Might have to start popping up in their office until I get MY money.

Experiencia fantástica: This is probably one of the greatest experience I’ve ever had at the dentist office, Dr Racker was so amazing and so sympathetic to my experience that I had at emergency dental of Omaha and this was such a different experience, always constantly checking to make sure I was OK they had to tell me they pulled the tooth, I didn’t even realize it was out and I felt pretty good afterwards I went shopping right after for a few hours, no problems whatsoever, 10 out of 10 highly recommend!!!!

Experiencia negativa: Update: I returned to have a separate procedure here and they over billed me. 6 months later I am still trying to get my money back. Can no longer recommend. I had to have a root canal that eventually failed and had to be extracted. During this process I had to go to four separate dentists/endodontist/oral surgeon. This is the only way that I felt actually took care of me. They were friendly, and took the time to explain everything. Would highly recommend.

Dr.Obrien called me several hours after my procedure to make sure I was recovering okay and didn’t have any more questions or need anything from him! We called twice to make sure everything was ready before the surgery and it was documented in our account and it was a mess. Nothing went right from check in, all the way to prescriptions getting called in on time. We can not recommend their services. Sorry.

Experiencia negativa: We were told to be here at 0640 for my son’s 0700 appointment. We were told if we were late we would be cancelled and rescheduled (That’s actually understandable). Of course we were here a few minutes prior to 0640 and then waited until 7 for the staff to unlock the doors. I asked about why their emails and message said to be here 20 minutes before opening? I was told to make sure we were not late. I understand the value of the clinics time, but it’s pretty frustrating for them to knowingly tell us to show up and sit outside of their locked doors for 20 minutes. This policy needs to be changed.
