Experiencia fantástica: I had a medical emergency a few weeks ago. Cracked my tooth on a cherry pit then developed a painful infection. I called this office and they were able to see me the same day for emergency root canal retreatment. I didn't expect that. It was very much appreciated. Highly professional. Every employee from the receptionist to Dr Craig who did the root canal retreatment were easy to talk too and explained every step of the process.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience with Endodontist Associates was amazing. I have pretty severe dental anxiety and Dr. Duhaine performed a 90 minute root canal this am with little discomfort. His dental tech Sherry held my hand during my shots and a warm blanket was provided. They are totally about doing anything possible to make the patient as comfortable as possible. Dr. Duhaine explained everything he was going to do and why. The.office staff was also pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs this type of dental care!

Amazing Experience - Ken 6-Years Ago I had a pretty complicated root-canal performed earlier this week by D. Mark Shallal-Ayzin. The only words I can use to describe my total experience is unbelievable experience. From the minute I met with the front desk team who immediately contact my insurance and provided me with my expected out-of-pocket fees... which turned out to be exact. This is actually my first time writing a review (was not ask to write one) but my experience of this one-hour procedure was amazing. Great explanation of what was happening, concern for comfort through process, and left feeling great. I highly recommend Dr. Shallal-Ayzin and after meeting him and his support team you will be compelled to write your own recommendation... he is that good!!

Experiencia negativa: Almost $500 charge to walk in and be told there is nothing they could do, and go back to my referring Dentist and have him extract a tooth. Probably not their fault, but go's to show you how the system works.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Duhaime and Karwacki both are incredible. Both have gotten me in last minute when I was in a fairly large amount of pain. They both took their time to look at and diagnose the issue I was presenting. Both physicians provided great explanations of what was causing my pain and the fastest route to fixing it as well as multiple treatment options. I would definitely go back or recommend family\friends here if they need root canal or endodontic treatment.

Experiencia fantástica: First off, I hate dental procedures. In fact, I avoided all of them for many years. Finally was forced to get 4 root canals due to that long delay. So going to Dr Duhaime was not easy. But he and the entire team did a “ all of office” approach and accomplished the effort with skill and empathy. Everything from the office visits, insurance coordination, and follow up were outstanding. Would recommend to anyone who like me is fearful. There was no pain after the procedure and I am now on my way to a healthy mouth.

I had been putting it off because I've never had dental work and I was afraid, but this process couldn't have been any easier. The scheduling and registration process was straightforward and the office staff were efficient and kind. When I got back Savannah took great care of me and Dr Duhaime even worked through his lunch to accommodate my procedure. The procedure itself was quick and painless. They explained everything in detail and were checking in constantly. I would highly recommend this office if you need any type of endodontic procedure!

It was such a smooth process and every single person including michelle, Sylvia and Dr. Duheme were incredibly friendly and equally intelligent. Although I hope I never have to go back again, if I ever needed an endo, I wouldn't hesitate!

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful people who squeezed me in at the end of their day. My tooth and jaw were killing me, and my dentist called and they fit me in. The Doctor and staff were all wonderful. Not only did they see me to tell me what the source of my pain was, but they ended up doing the root canal right then because they knew I was in pain. They were super kind, professional, and thorough and ended up finishing with me at 7 pm, which was well after their normal finishing time. I hope I never ever need another root canal, but if I do, I will definitely go back!

I had a total knee placement scheduled and I only had a very small window of time to resolve the issue so my surgery didn’t have to be rescheduled. Dr Duhaime had me in for a consult the following day and performed a tricky redo of my root canal two business days later. The care and compassion I received by Dr Duhaime and his assistant, Sherrie, was exemplary. He was able to restore my root canal and free my tooth of infection with cutting edge laser technology. I can’t say enough about Dr Duhaime and the staff at this practice. Because of them, my surgery didn’t not have to be rescheduled and I am pain free. I couldn’t ask for a better end result.

They had supplied all the necessary forms in an email the day before to make the check in process easier the day of the procedure. The dentist was extremely informative about the process and the procedure was painless. He was also was compassionate about how I would feel after the procedure and told me to call if I had any pain. The office staff also followed up the next day with a phone call to see how I was doing. Nobody likes to go to the dentist, but I would recommend this office for any advanced dental care.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Endodontic Associates, based on my last experience having a root canal, expecting to leave in pain. I was also thinking the pain would last a couple of days. The exact opposite turned out to be true. I’ll backtrack a little first. My dentist told me, a few weeks ago, that I needed a root canal. I was not in any pain, but the tooth was sensitive. He recommended Dr. Duhaime at Endodontic Associates in Clarkston, MI. I called and made an appointment. A very friendly person answered. We were able to communicate back and forth by text, after that. I was sent an appointment confirmation, a link to their website to complete necessary forms, prior to my visit and an appointment reminder a couple of days before my appointment. I really appreciated being able to communicate by text. It made the process much easier. When I arrived, everyone in the office was very friendly. They made sure I understood the cost of the treatment upfront. They actually did send a text the day before, explaining the cost of the procedure. I also found out that they had a new laser technology to make the procedure easier and better. It did. They had taken me in at my appointment time. The assistant completed the necessary health questions and X-rays. She also showed me a couple of videos explaining the procedure too. Dr. Duhaime came in and explained the procedure very thoroughly. They put a latex dam and a rubber wedge in my mouth to comfortably keep my mouth open. As he was performing the procedure, he explained every step. The procedure went well with no discomfort for me. They gave me a couple of Motrin to start me on pain medication knowing I had a 45 minute ride home. I had taken one Tylenol 3 hours later to be proactive at preventing pain. I didn’t have any pain. I never had any pain. I didn’t need to take any pain medicine afterwards. I don’t know if that was an anomaly for me or was the same for most. I was happy about that. They called the next day to ask how I was doing. All in all, for having a root canal, it was a great experience. I highly recommend Dr. Duhaime and his staff!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Duhaime and his staff are excellent at explaining everything they are going to do. They have some of the most up to date dental equipment including laser root canal. The procedure was painless and I had no post-procedure complications. I even got a call from the staff the day after to check on my condition. I will always use Dr. Duhaime for any special procedures I may need in the future. From a billing standpoint, I knew exactly how much it would cost out of pocket at least a week before my procedure so I could make an informed decision whether to proceed or check with other endodontic dentists on pricing. No surprises on what you owe, everything is up front which is something I appreciate.

I was incredibly nervous to get another root canal for many factors but the staff and Dr. Duhaime were very caring, explaining everything. I had a lot of questions since I needed a root canal due to a dentist exposing the nerve pulp during a filling. My new dentist said it would be a "complex root canal" and recommended I go to this endodontist. I was of course in a lot of pain leading up to this but they made sure the procedure was painless. Of course you have soreness afterwards and it takes your body a few weeks to heal (and start crown procedure at your dentist) but I could not be more happy. She checked a couple things and called me back right away and told me to come to the office that day. Dr. Duhaime was very honest and took his time to explain the different options. They were able to get me an appointment the next day to get it taken care of. I was pretty nervous but Cheri was the best! She put my nerves at ease and explained everything before it happened. She was so personable and compassionate. Dr. Duhaime was able to get the procedure done pretty quickly and painless. He was very thorough. They both checked on me throughout the procedure asking if I was ok and how I was doing. I’m already feeling so much better. Very thankful for the kind and compassionate staff here at this office and being able to get me in so fast.

Experiencia fantástica: As root canals go, this one was great! I had Dr. Mark Shallal repair an old root canal. I was anxious about the initial numbing shots being painful . . but it really wasn't bad! He must use very sharp, thin needles because it was very tolerable. Once the shots took effect, I felt nothing. I was done in about 40 minutes. I've had several root canals in the past so I have lots to compare. I would use him again should the need arise.

From the moment I visited for both consults, the staff was incredibly friendly and able to quickly provide my insurance coverage and out of pocket balance. Dr. Mark educated me of the procedure, as well as the post-care/follow-up I’d need with my general dentist. He explained everything in a way that I could easily understand. I didn't even feel any pain, not even from the numbing. Both Dr. Mark & Dr. Duhaime were able to quickly and effectively complete both root canals, and I've had no issues since. I would highly recommend Endodontic Associates to anyone who needs endodontic care!
