Experiencia negativa: Read so many of the wonderful reviews online about this dentist online so I brought my child in as a new patient. I work in healthcare myself, and I’m very big on first impressions, It means everything and says a lot about you and who you work for as a whole, but right off the bat the hygienist that worked with my child was very rude. She introduced herself to my child, as if I (Her Mom) was not standing there everything that she mentioned, she mentioned it to my child literally did not acknowledge me at all as if I was not standing there, she took x-rays then proceeded to ask my child to pick out a toothbrush where she rushed her to make a decision on which one she wanted, she then begin to clean her teeth still never said a word to me. She looked through her mouth and called the dentist in,the dentist looked over everything that she had written up for my child They discussed everything amongst themselves I then had to interrupt and ask questions about what is going on with my child’s mouth and What they were planning to do ..the hygienist blurts out and says oh She’s getting a tooth pulled and a crown and I just sat there confused because why weren’t I included in the conversation prior to the decision making on what’s being done to my child’s mouth. As my child, and I sit there, waiting to leave the hygienist, and I guess she’s a secretary or something they stood there discussing another coworker In my face.. I felt ignored I felt rushed, I felt as though they did not do a complete job at explaining anything pertaining my child’s oral health. The lobby was empty my child was the only patient there so There’s no excuse for the lack of service & care we received . She has an appointment that I’m canceling, and will not be back again. we will go to the Edwardsville location instead or maybe just a new dentist overall..

Experiencia negativa: Doesn't accept state insurance which means no foster children. They should have themselves removed from Youthcare's Provider Portal as they aren't one.

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough about going here. It was our first visit yesterday. My regular dentist recommended going here for my son who otherwise wouldn’t be still long enough for an adult dentist office. Man once we got in there it was so inviting for him and didn’t make him stressed. Then when we got back to the chair the hygienist showed him everything, let him touch the cleaner tool and hold it. Then she didn’t mind that he was kind of sticking his hand up by his mouth and she powered right through it. We will definitely be back with the rest of our kids.

Experiencia fantástica: I wanna give a huge shout out to dr Kevin for saving the day today. My son needed 2 fillings and he is such a busy man that we were booking out pretty far. Well he happened to walk by as I was scheduling and overheard and mentioned how that was too long of a wait and offered to get us in right then and there! I was so thankful bc my son has been complaining of pain for a few weeks and I was sad to make him wait longer. I know how busy he is but my son is pain free tonight and a happy go lucky kiddo! Thank you to the staff who was going above and beyond for us today with my wild 3 kiddos! Tina the receptionist was amazing she was even calling the other offices to see if there was space for us to come asap. She even checked on me and the other kids while waiting for my boy to finish up!!! I can’t say enough amazing things about dr Kevin! He’s been a blessing for my kids and their dental journey! I just love everyone there!!! Thank you for helping a momma in need today!!!

Experiencia fantástica: We switched to Associated Pediatric Dentistry earlier this year after having some issues at a previous dentist. My 6 year old can be pretty anxious and likes to know what is being done and to see what instruments are being used. I understand that can be time consuming but our previous pediatric dentist was extremely rude about it. We had our 2nd visit with Dr Mara today for a dental procedure and even my anxiety was up worrying about how my daughter was going to do. Dr. Mara and staff was so patient and communicated to my daughter the way she wanted to be communicated with through the whole procedure. I was almost in tears over how amazing they did and wanted to hug them for making this such a great experience. I am so glad I found this office and feel like I owe Dr. Mara the world right now.

Experiencia fantástica: We have had nothing but good experiences at this dentist office. The staff has always been positive, respectful and helpful. I also greatly appreciate their scheduling system which sends out an automated text reminding you of your upcoming visit, Yesterday we came in for a semi emergency. Our son had broken two of his front teeth and they needed expert repairing. I have to admit I was really concerned that they would not come out looking well. Dr. Kevin did an amazing job, especially considering the damage done to one of my sons teeth, and Dr. Kevin was very uplifting, reassuring and gentle with my son throughout the whole procedure. His assistant was wonderful as well! I’m very grateful we have these dental professionals in our area. Do not hesitate reaching out to them if you have a kiddo that needs to get their teeth looked at ❤️

Experiencia negativa: Told to be here by 0815. Not seen until almost 9. Watched 8 kids walk in and get seen while we sat in the lobby. Total waste of our time.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Kevin and his staff have been taking care of our children's teeth for nearly 10 years. They are always friendly and personable with the kids and have built a rapport so that my children love to go to the dentist. The facility is always clean and all of the members of the staff and kind and courteous!

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Kevin was great! HOWEVER, we are never going back because their office manager told us our insurance is "in-network, but not really in-network" so they billed us outrageous fees as an out-of-network patient. Our insurance company was way easier to work with than this office.

Experiencia fantástica: We love Associated Pediatric Dentistry. Our 5 year old considers going to the dentist as a special treat and she loves Dr.Kevin and his staff!

Experiencia negativa: Their specialty is pediatric dentistry. They should be able to accommodate a sibling in procedure room, like the last visit we had 2 weeks ago. Unless this is a discrimination against single parents. They expect me to leave my 4 yo in the waiting area or leave my 8 yo in the procedure room. The last time she had a procedure done, they didn't even let the numbing medicine take full effect before starting the procedure and the dentist just kept on going. My daughter never had issues in our past dentist. The staff is snarky. I do not recommend this place. This is O'Fallon, IL office.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Beyersdorfer not only does great work but he doesn’t recommend unnecessary work. Even though my little one has had a filling (which can be a frightening experience for a child) she loves seeing “Dr Kevin” so much that she’s happy to go to the office every visit because the staff move quickly, Dr Beyersdorfer knows how to motivate, distract and comfort children throughout an exam/procedure, and the office is very inviting with a playroom located adjacent to the waiting as well as stickers and toys to play with in the exam bays.

Experiencia fantástica: These people are fantastic. Went to have my childs cavity looked at and was told that the first visit would be just a meet and greet to get to know my child. I cringed at the thought of having to drive 5 hours round trip twice for a cavity. However, when they found out how far we were driving they were very accommodating and scheduled the filling of the cavity immediately after the consult. They were very gentle with my 4 year old and made a normally stressful situation for a child enjoyable. Thanks so much!!!

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter (3 year old) was not excited about going to the dentist but by the time she left, she talked about how fun it was. The waiting room had plenty of toys that she loved playing with while we waited (the wait wasn’t long). When we got to the back there was more toys for her to play with. She saw Dr. Keith Rice, he was great with her. I highly recommend.

Despite it being a hour from my home- at the time I was desperately looking for a place that would take us as a walk in same day. We saw Dr. K (who moved to another state) and the service was amazing! I was very pleased with the diversity of the staff which means a lot to me. We’ve met our new dentist and are just as pleased with her! They are quick, efficient, and thorough! They create a treatment plan and are open about explaining it to you. I knew what to expect and when it would happen. From the front desk, to the dental hygienist and their doctors- this place is amazing. We continue to drive an hour (one way) because their care and attention for kids is priceless.

LaTonya and Dr. Tieg were both immensely patient and kind, took their time to do a great job/give a great result, answered all of our questions, and never made us feel like a burden (even though they had other appointments they were navigating between). I was so impressed with both of them and am so thankful we found APD last year.
