The dental hygienist wasn’t the most friendly person I’ve ever met, she seems like maybe she was having a rough day so I’ll give her a little bit of grace. I get it, sometimes people just have bad days, so I will definitely be back for my next cleaning.

Experiencia fantástica: Due to a loose tooth at the site of a decades-old root canal performed in another state, I knew I had to find a dentist ASAP. I set an emergency appointment with Kyna Dublin, DDS (of Green Hills Family Dentistry), who had been my dentist years earlier in Franklin. I saw her immediately, and between Dr. Dublin, and her assistant, Ana, my condition was identified using a new X-ray, and options for treatment were discussed with me. From the front desk personnel to Dr. Dublin and Ana, everything was handled in a fast, efficient, professional, and very friendly manner. A referral was made to Coyne Oral Surgery in Franklin (my request), and a copy of my X-ray was sent online. I drove to that office, where the extraction was performed. All of this was accomplished before noon of the same day! I cannot say enough good things about Green Hills Family Dentistry (Dr. Dublin and Ana) and the oral surgeon's office (Cathleen Coyne, DDS, and her assistant Marlena).

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately I had a bad experience here after switching from another dentist to get a composite veneer redone. Things were great at first, but when I had follow-up issues after my procedure, I wasn't listened to or believed. For one, the new retainer they made for me shifted my teeth into a position that messed up my bite (that I've had 5+ years of orthodontic work to get right) and they said there was "nothing they could do about it" and wouldn't give me a refund when I asked (I had to go back to my previous orthodontist to pay for another new retainer, and my bite still isn't the same as it used to be). Second, I wasn't happy with the shape and color of one of the veneers and they again told me there was nothing they could do about it and pretty much told me I was wrong to dislike it. I ended up seeing another dentist and they were able to fix it. I'm very disappointed in the way I was treated and the money I've lost due to these issues.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Ledbetter’s for many years now and can’t imagine seeing any other dentist because she is so wonderful. She’s patient, never makes you feel rushed, genuinely listens to your concerns, and is incredibly gentle when working on your teeth. I’ve seen a few different hygienists throughout the years in their office but every single one of them has been amazing as well. They all are very good at what they do and manage to keep you comfortable throughout all of their work. My only complaint is that anytime I’ve ever tried to call the office, no one picks up and if you leave a message, no one returns your call. Disappointing because the rest of the staff in incredible.

I prefer not being scraped so hard I'm bleeding and in pain. Brittany was excellent. Experiencia negativa: I went to this dentist’s office for a few years and didn’t realize just how bad it was until I switched to a new dentist today. First of all, the receptionists always seem incredibly exasperated, like they cannot believe you would have the audacity to try to schedule an appointment. I had a cleaning scheduled for last January but ended up getting COVID, so I called a few days beforehand to reschedule; they told me the next available appointment was literally my next cleaning in July. When I showed up for my appointment in July, they told me it had been **cancelled and moved to November** !!!! I got fed up and scheduled an appointment with a new dentist, who fit me in within a few weeks. Alas, the story does not end there. About a year and a half ago, I had a few cavities filled at Green Hills Family Dentistry - after they were filled, my bite wasn’t feeling quite right, so I scheduled another appointment. When I came back in, everyone in the office (the dentist included) acted like I was being difficult, and the work they did to “fix” it didn’t help at all - I walked away feeling gaslit and crazy. WELL, today I went to my first appointment with my new dentist (who was so nice and caring!!) and when they did X-rays, they found that one of the cavities I had filled at Green Hills Family Dentistry was done very poorly - it’s already decaying and needs to be refilled. Writing this review because I am appalled at this practice and can’t believe I didn’t switch dentists sooner. Please save yourself the time and money and oral discomfort and stay away from here.

The refusal to provide such basic information raises significant concerns about the office's policies and practices. I strongly believe that patients have the right to know who will be performing medical procedures on them, including their full name and professional background. This is not just a matter of preference but a fundamental aspect of patient care and trust. I hope the office will reconsider this policy and prioritize transparency and patient trust moving forward.

Experiencia negativa: ***** 10/18 Update- Just received another bill from an appointment from last year, actually almost a year ago. This is the worst business I have ever personally dealt with. I don't care if their service is standard. There is NO WAY I would recommend this dental practice to anyone. I truly wish I could submit a review with Press Ganey.***** Service is standard so I really cant complain about that at all. They are timely in their appointments so you don't usually have to wait. Making an appointment is pretty difficult. If you don't call ahead way in advance you can forget about it. If something comes up emergently then it is super hard to get in. Overall, I suppose that isn't their fault since they are busy, but it is hard to schedule with them. Real concern with this office is billing. They DO NOT bill insurance correctly and I have had to contact them numerous times about changes I did not understand. I can understand a 1 time thing but this is a consistent issue. Unfortunately, they are also not able to clearly explain why they are charging for a service so you are left wondering if the charge is really a accurate charge. The lack of communication is truly a huge concern with them and their transparency in billing. I would not recommend this office to anyone based on my personal experiences with them. I was a patient for too long and should have looked for another practice years ago. It is my fault for continuing to do business with them when I had so many concerns. That is something I will correct by looking elsewhere for care. Hopefully others will be aware of these issues before they encounter the same problems.

Anesthesia and numbing agents don’t work on me, which always makes dentist visits pretty painful no matter where I go, but the compassion from my hygienist at Green Hills Family Dentistry helped a lot emotionally and made me feel like I was in good hands. She talked me through what the process would feel like and what she was doing, was informative about what caused the issues that were causing me pain, and made sure I knew how to prevent them from coming back. Plus my teeth look shiny and white again, so I’m pretty happy!

I’ve never experienced the amount of X-rays this office claimed they needed in my entire 40 years going to dentists. My insurance covers a specific type of X-rays and my cleaning and bitewings are what is covered so I was very surprised when I received a bill for nearly $100. The hygienist was nice enough but pushy about this as a requirement. The lack of transparency on billing especially after submitting my insurance before the appointment and after getting to the office seems predatory-like. I’m not a fan of surprise billing as I imagine most of us aren’t. I wouldn’t recommend based this office based on this behavior.

They were absolute angels, so kind, gentle, and really took their time with me. There was absolutely no judgement, just helpful advice along the way, and they even set up a plan to get my smile back on track in a way that actually felt attainable (coming from someone that lives paycheck to paycheck). Trust me, I thought I was going to hate/avoid dentists my whole life until I step foot in their office. If you’re the same way, please give them a try.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my 2nd visit to this dentist office. The services that I received were fantastic. I had 2 appointments for this visit with an hour in between. The hygienist didn’t want me to have to leave & then return for my 2nd appointment for teeth cleaning, so she decided to work through her lunch hour to accommodate my 2nd appointment…I am still smiling because my teeth are white and cleaned. I am forever grateful for this above and beyond the call of duty service. The entire staff provided customer service with a smile from check-in process through check-out. This is my new dentist office going forward and I can’t wait for my next follow up visit because more work has to be done to my teeth.

I moved all my meetings because of this appointment and they are trying to overbook. Even if I confirm, is that a guarantee that they are looking for? I have never experienced this at any doctors office. Once you make an appointment no one keep asking for confirmation. On top of that their staff is rude. They don’t value anyone’s time. They have really worked up a recipe on how to loose clients!

Experiencia negativa: I had good experience for years until having a dental issue. Following a tiny, routine filling, I developed new pain eventually diagnosed as a cracked tooth. At this point, I stepped out of the “assembly line” and needed more personalized care which is when GHFD processes completely and utterly broke down. From the beginning, my concerns about pain were not communicated with licensed professionals. I had to call daily and advocate for myself to be seen timely for follow up care and not just wait for the “next available” appointment. Once it was determined that I needed to see a specialist, GHFD failed to send referral details and medical records needed for the endodontist to safely render treatment. I ultimately decided to see a new general dentist and yet again had issues with my records being shared. I didn’t realize that this practice is a corporate entity managed by private equity backed Heartland Dental. To achieve max efficiency, I experienced degradation of quality and quite frankly, patient safety concerns due to poor communication and follow through. I have made countless calls and attempts to resolve my issues prior to writing this review yet there there continues to be a pattern of disturbing behavior.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful, friendly receptionist, Dental Hygienist and Dentist! Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to explain the process and even help me with my insurance at the end. Alyssa, the Dental Hygienist, was so gentle and kind, I wouldn’t hesitate recommending her. I have just found my new Dentistry!

Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommend Dr. Ledbetter and the staff for dental work. Used her for a couple of years and the 7 am opening helps if you work. Everyone is friendly and they explain options before starting any work.

Experiencia negativa: I had heard good things about this practice, so when I moved to Nashville I decided to become a patient. I called in October and made an appointment for their first available in February. I got called the day before the appointment that they had to cancel due to an emergency, and got offered an appointment in July. I understand that emergencies happen, but it seems like the providers should then be willing to work with patients to reschedule within a reasonable time frame. Seems unprofessional. I will be finding a new practice.
