If that doesn’t tell you how amazing they are I don’t know what will. Since day one they have always been sweet, kind and gentle. I must say the way he handled our complex case (we were mid way to my son’s cavity treatment and capping) was out of the ordinary. He was calm that made us calm. His take on treating children teeth is that of a sensible approach ; to what situation actually calls for rather than just money minting mindset , handing over big bills and stressing parents. Even though now we have moved an hour away from Buda kids but just for the comfort and the level of care he showed we just couldn’t trust a doctor elsewhere so we decided to continue with him. We wish Dr. Jhonson and his team all the best for their efforts the love and the care they put into this service. Thankyou

She loves him so much that she fully planned on staying his patient until she turns 50. (Yes, fifty. Retirement plans and all.) Unfortunately, Dr. Matt had to break her heart today and explain that she can only stay until she’s “of age.” She was devastated. I’ve never seen someone so upset about outgrowing a dentist. That alone should tell you everything you need to know. Dr. Matt is kind, patient, funny, and somehow makes dentist visits something kids actually look forward to. His staff is just as amazing—friendly, caring, and always making us feel welcome from the moment we walk in. They truly make the whole experience stress-free for kids and parents. We absolutely love him and will be clinging on until that age limit hits. Highly, highly recommend!

I've been sending my 9 year old to Dr. Johnson since 2020, and he is SO good & patient with my ADHD kiddo. Recently, Dr. Johnson performed a labial & lingual frenectomy on my 3 month old baby using a laser, and it has made such a difference with my baby's quality of life. This result of this procedure allows my baby to latch much better when nursing and has reduced the frequency/severity of spit-up episodes. I wish I had reached out sooner for the frenectomy!

Experiencia fantástica: Welcoming and thorough. At a previous place our son was uncomfortable, scared/cried and they didn’t do the 3 year old cleaning (even though we were told they would). At 3.5 we switched to Buda Kids Teeth. Everyone at BKT was very nice, appointment was on-time, they made our son comfortable, gave a thorough cleaning and provided details about what to change and what to expect in the future. Dr Matt was friendly, knowledgeable and overall amazing. We found the perfect place for our sons dentist!

Then we moved to Georgia and my son had a dental emergency that we couldn’t find a competent dentist to help a child with autism in need of an extraction. I called and spoke with Dr Johnson and booked a flight back to Texas. He was amazing as always with my kiddo, who was perfectly calm and happy during the procedure and never once complained of any pain. The Dr called and followed up with us that evening and the next day before we flew out. It was well worth the flight, hotel and car cost to have such a gentle, caring and competent dentist for my boy!

Experiencia positiva: My daughter loves this place better than our old one; all the staff is pretty good with kiddos, and makes them feel comfortable and at ease. They patiently answered all of my daughters questions, and patiently repeatedly explained what they were doing as they did it. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I had a minor scary moment with the way my daughter reacted to the medicine they had her take ( she was very quiet, not moving much, cried, and fell twice when trying to walk) and this is extremely unusual behavior for her so I panicked. I have to give credit to the front desk lady though, for coming out to talk to my daughter and calm my fears and assure me this was normal and that kids sometimes get emotional on the meds. I just wish they had mentioned that on the info sheet they gave me prior to our visit. But we’d definitely recommend them and we’ll make them our regular dentist.

They were extremely welcoming, every staff member so was pleasant, my 3 three old got up in the chair and was so cooperative. (Which he has never done before) When we left my kids said how much they loved going here and were happy with their dental care. 3 years later… I have added another kid to the roster and I still highly recommend this dental team to anyone with kids. Dr Johnson has a great ENT recommendation. The office staff is friendly and also works hard to accommodate our busy schedules. After one visit with them, I immediately went back to Dr. Matt. Buda Kids Teeth is the best! All of the technicians are wonderful and friendly and Dr. Matt is great with big amd small kids. My only complaint is my daughter is 17 now and will age out of this office soon. I wish they saw adults too!

Experiencia fantástica: My son had an urgent dental issue, and we THANKFULLY were able to book a same day appointment at Buda Kids Teeth. My 10y old LOVED it. He left saying, "Wow, this place is so cool!", AND actually wanted to take better care of his teeth (which usually is just "yea yea I know" attitude). We both really enjoyed all the staff there, and the first time patient gifts and prizes. Thank you Buda Kids Teeth!! Ps. I also have to add that the rooms were decorated individually with Christmas movies themes, which was also very fun and had an influence on the experience haha!

Experiencia fantástica: What a wonderful experience. In the middle of talking to me about her teeth the Dr stops turns to my daughter and says “ Do you have any questions” she felt like he was talking to her not about her. So awesome.
