Experiencia negativa: High turnover rate of doctors. Staff ,doesn't have a clue on billing. The young lady wanted me to redo my bridge. I informed her that I was told by previous office manager to wait until September. Because delta dental, wouldn't approve work until then. She kept on assisting that I have the work done . I said no ! Came home and called insurance company. They informed me to wait unit September. Five years since the last time I had my bridge done. Been coming to 5 star for years. I informed them also I didn't want to start any work until I find out how much both insurance companies would cover , help me make sense. So they can bill me later. It's seems like a scam ,to send customer bills. That's why I have double dental insurance. Taking advantage of older people. There no way to speak with the corporate office. So I was focused to leave a review. Please hire staff that no what they are doing. Don't continue to rush people to get work done until the insurance has gave the amount they will cover ! So rude and unprofessional . Just lost my business because staff doesn't have a clue.

Experiencia fantástica: From the moment I walked into the office for my first visit, I felt welcomed. The office was very clean and had such a warm, inviting atmosphere. The receptionists were professional, attentive, and made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. The dental assistant was incredibly kind, a great communicator, and took the time to really listen to all of my concerns, which I truly appreciated. Her calming voice and the way she explained each step of the process before it happened helped ease my nerves and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. Now let’s talk about Dr. Norris — you can immediately tell he is passionate and compassionate about what he does. He took the time to educate me on what was best for my dental health and made me feel comfortable, almost like family. I also appreciated that there was absolutely no judgment, which made me feel even more at ease. He also has a very warm and welcoming personality that made the experience even better. Overall, I had an amazing experience and was not disappointed at all. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a caring and professional dental team

Experiencia negativa: I have used this dentist for the past three years. I have had approximately three crowns put in. Two of them fell out about three times, and I had to go back in and have them recemented. Six months ago, I had a crown put in, and it fell out about two weeks ago. I went in to have it recemented. They tried to bill my insurance company. My insurance company denied the claim. This dental office sent me a bill for 184.00 for recementing a crown that should not have come out. I called my insurance company and was told that, per their contract with the insurance company, the dental office was informed that this was not billable due to the timeframe it fell out, and I do not have a balance. I called 5-Star Dental today and spoke with Nigo. He told me that the dentist who initially placed the crown is no longer with them, and I am paying for the time of the dentist who placed it. What a fraud! They are in the same dental office. I will be contacting the state's attorney's office concerning their fraudulent practices, and I will never return!

Experiencia fantástica: As a new patient, I had an excellent experience at this dental office and would definitely give them 5 stars. The office is very clean, welcoming, and has a comfortable atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The manager, Nico, was extremely helpful, professional, and polite. He made sure everything went smoothly and helped make the visit stress-free (Thank you so much for everything). The dental assistant, Tiffany, was wonderful. She took her time while taking images of my teeth and was very gentle throughout the process. She also listened carefully to my concerns and answered all of the questions I had (I am so thankful and I appreciate you). Dr. Williams was very nice and professional, taking the time to explain everything clearly (Thank you Dr. Williams, you’re awesome). The dental hygienist Laqueena, was very gentle, patient and helpful during my visit (thank you for being so kind and thank you for the recommendations as well). I am always nervous when going to the dentist, but EVERY member of the staff played an important role in making me feel comfortable and at ease. I truly appreciate their kindness, patience, and professionalism. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a caring and welcoming dental team. I WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING AND REFERRING!!!

Experiencia negativa: I come every 4-6 months for cleanings. Nice people, but I am confused and uncomfortable about the high staff turnover. I have had many dentists and hygenists over the past 5 years at Five Star Family Dental, and the new staff tend to not recognize the names of the previous dentists and hygienists, which is very weird. Aren't their names mentioned in previous appointment notes, at least? The lack of retention and not knowing who I will actually be seeing when I come in for appointments makes me want to leave.

Experiencia negativa: I scheduled an appointment at this dental office based on their website, which stated they accept my insurance. However, when they called the next day, I was told they do not accept my insurance, despite what their website says and my insurance provider. They tried to offer me a $99 package instead. This was a waste of my time and feels misleading—be careful if you are relying on their website for accurate insurance information.

TBH, I had second thoughts about using this establishment and I should’ve followed my instincts. The finished procedure and product took over six months to complete and was a total disaster. I’m highly disappointed and dissatisfied!

Experiencia fantástica: I truly love how the staff is always helpful and the doctors is phenomenal I’ve never been to a dentist office where the performed great Service they actually care about there patients especially the Manager Sherka she always gives me calls of reminders because there has been times where I literally forgot my appointment. But thanks to Sherka I was able to get in within a matter of two days. They go over and beyond for there patients.

Experiencia negativa: This is not the place for new patients that are minors. Took my child today for her first visit, they said they would take her for an xray and be right back to get me. 15 min later, I asked - where is my child?? They let me in only to find my child in the exam chair and ALREADY had both her exam and cleaning without me present!!! In less than 15-20 min so how thorough of a visit was it really? Did not ask me any questions about her past visits and experiences. The dentist, a man I never met - and as I type this still did not meet and have no idea who he is, what he looks like or what his name is - never introduced himself or spoke to me directly. My child had tears in her eyes because I promised her I would be there during the cleaning and they proceeded without including me, lying that she was just getting an xray. My child tells me how she has a cavity and they asked HER, a 9yo child, how does she feel about coming back to get it filled?!? Mind you it is a baby tooth that is not bothering her so not sure why we would spend time, money, and pain on a baby tooth that is about to fall out!?! After I corrected the staff for not including a parent in the room during a child's FIRST visit with them, strangers, and not explaining to ME, the parent, what they found during the exam - the staff attempted to tell me what the doctor already told my 9yo. Then, to make it worse, they EMAILED me the xray with absolutely no attempt to explain it or provide an overview of what exactly the xray shows. I had to request that they walk me through the xray in detail. Not once did the dentist come out and speak to me, review the findings, introduce himself etc. Poor bedside manner, poor handling of child patient, poor handling of parents. We won't be back and I will be filing a formal complaint for the mishandling of minors.

After making recommendations that I did not agree with, he proceeded to ask me to leave and not return until I followed his protocols. Now I understand why the lobby was empty and it was easy to book an appointment. This dentist needs more customer service skills.

Experiencia negativa: THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!! I took a day off from work in order to have a dental procedure scheduled for 1/29/2025 at 2:40PM. The dental office called me and stated that the hygienist would be unavailble and that the procedured would have to be reschulded. The appointment was rescheduled for the next day 1/30/2025 at 8AM. So now I have to take another day off from work, and on top of that I received a text message from this place stating that I would be charged $100 if I failed to keep my appointment. I arrived at the scheduled 8AM appointment and was told by the "laughing" receptionist that she forget to inform me that the office hours had changed and that I need return at 9AM. So now I have to wait around in my car for an hour. As soon as I returned for my revised appointment, the "laughing" receptionist immediately requested payment for treatment I had not yet received. I reluctantly paid the fee and was escorted to an exam room. In comes this dude named George, and without washing his hands or putting on gloves he puts a blood pressure cuff on my left arm. Still unwashed and ungloved, he and opens and dumps a sterile pack containing the dental instruments that were to be used for my procedure. I immediately addressed the issue and was told by the "laughing" receptionist, "No problem, we will get some new instruments." My family will not be returning to this dump!!!!

The facility was clean and welcoming, creating a comfortable environment right from the start. The staff I came in contact with was amazing— Dr. G, Nicole, Tiffany, Jackie, Xandra & George was friendly, professional, and a joy to interact with. They made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for excellent dental care!

Experiencia positiva: Although I felt terrible today, I made my scheduled dental appointment at five Star family dental. I have not been back in a year due to a car accident. Upon arriving I was made aware that several employees called off due to illness. Therefore my wait would be a little longer than normal which wasn't a big deal to me. Once I was finally summons to the back by the most fantastic hygienist ever. Kenyada is her name. Remember it! I'm sure she'll be the head dentist in a couple years! She was as thorough and professional as could be. She took time and care that you don't normally get "THESE DAYS". She alone is worth going to this facility. Request her and only her! Create a traffic jam in that joint! lol I genuinely mean she was wonderful. As far as the rest of the facility goes everyone was very nice and professional but she is the person I spent the majority of my time with. The dentist came in for 3 minutes and I was out. *Update 01-06-25 I returned to the office to have cavities filled. The dentist Dr Gary as well as the assistant Tiffany were great. My ONLY issue is every time I have any service done, I'm now paying out of pocket which I've never done previously with the previous staff. I was told that I had four cavities. Two would be filled on the current visit. As we finished up, I was told the dentist filled 5 cavities when I was initially told I only had 4. I had to pay money on the first visit and was told then I wouldn't owe anything on my second visit. Only to have to make another payment of over $50. Feels like a money grab to me! In all of my years of going to dentist, I have never had to pay out of pocket like I'm paying with 5 star family dental. (Insured) As I departed, I did noticed that the waiting room was empty at noon time. It made me wonder...

Experiencia negativa: I had an appointment for a routine cleaning at 10:20am on July 22nd. I arrived a little before my appointment time and was taken back to the hygiene room right on time. Great, wrong.....the hygienist sat me down, put the bib on and said "I'll go and get the dentist". I was left sitting there for 40 minutes and no one ever came back into the room. I got up, took off the bib and went up to the front desk. Told them I was left sitting there for 40 minutes with not one word from anyone and that I was leaving. Two weeks later I get a voicemail on my phone from an Emilio stating he was calling because I missed my appointment. I returned his call during office hours and only got answering machine, left message to call me back and I'm still waiting for that call.

I was warmly welcomed by two of the most knowledge people ever the manager Xandra and the front office coordinator Nicole who was able to help me with all of my insurance stuff. lol.
