Experiencia negativa: I was trying to reschedule my cleaning appointment because I was in China and I did a cleaning there. I was honest about this but they said they need reference from the China dentist to know what they did to me in China. Well it was just a random dental office and they don’t do “references”. The lady on the phone said oh I will just go ahead and delete you because you can not see two different dentist. Well they just did a normal cleaning and I just need to reschedule a cleaning appointment. Is this a noble dental office that has so many rules to follow and people have to begging to stay in? That’s what I feel when reading the reviews. Maybe as a patient I just can not see two different dentist but yea it wasn’t making me feel comfortable. And it is alright because the dentist wasn’t doing a great job.

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Chobor and her team member Tracy never followed up on their work to proceed with pre-approval for an oral appliance. Costly waiting times, the representative simply did not do her job and the Dr. Didn't care. Would recommend you avoid the provider, they dont care about delays in your care.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely unprofessional, I spoke with a man on the phone who wasn’t clear or sure about the dentist policy regarding insurance. A woman took over the phone call and said that she would report me for complaining about him not being clear. She asked for my insurance ID and went on to defend the man’s integrity and spirit. Her delivery was uncalled for. Furthermore, if the man had explained that the practice wasn’t accepting new patients (in the beginning of the call) then there wouldn’t have been a need for me to speak further. I felt disrespected and hope that future patients don’t receive the same energy from these people.

Experiencia negativa: Decent dental care however my appointment was cancelled with less than 30 minutes notice this morning. I was called by office staff as I was walking in - maybe 5 minutes away. I was the first scheduled patient of the day. Major inconvenience and unprofessional. I will not return.

Experiencia negativa: When I first started going here, I thought it was good - mainly the nice lady who cleaned my teeth. However, when I had to get some basic fillings -- they were done so poorly by the dentist that I had to go back mutilple times to get them fixed. And it was like pulling teeth to get more than a couple words from the dentist. Patients need explanations! One time I went back to get a filling fixed and the doctor said I wouldn't be charged (multiple times). But while I was there the lady at the front desk kept coming in and interrupting the appointment and trying to make him charge me. If the dentist himself says he doesn't want to charge me, WHY WOULD YOU TRY TO? Just started going to a new dentist and they are finding a lot of mistakes and told me it looked like my teeth hadn't been cleaned in years. I wanted to like it, but just not a good experience.

Experiencia negativa: I was a patient for 4 years. Almost every visit I had a terrible experience with the blonde receptionist. Today was the last straw. 2 pm appointment I arrived at 202 the latest. No one noticed I was in the office for a good 10-15 minutes. I was finally brought back and waited and waited. It was 245 when I had enough and asked to be rescheduled. She said I couldn’t and I said don’t even worry about I will be going somewhere else. She is the same lady that has locked the door as I was walking into my appointment 10 minutes late after confirming to another worker I was running late and I was parking I was walking into the building. I knocked and knocked and the lady I spoke to on the phone was clueless about the door being locked. The blonde receptionist locked the door and said I was too late for my appointment and forced me to reschedule my appointment….but she wouldn’t reschedule an appointment for today that I waited 45 minutes for and couldn’t wait any longer because I had to return to work.

Experiencia negativa: 10/13/23 Surprisingly Unprofessional. Back in may. I called here because I wanted to come home to get my Dental Work done. I moved to Georgia. I was told to email my documents my license and the lady would let me know after she checks my insurance etc... when appts would be available. Never heard Anything from these people. I felt like she was lying the whole time we were on the phone. That she wasn't gonna do anything. I was right she wasted my time for nothing. This place is bogus.

Experiencia negativa: The hygienist was awesome. She always did a great job. If you miss an appointment make sure you have documentation. Even if you get into a car accident or have covid lol they want proof. So keep all your documents. Never had a dentist office want a police report to reschedule an appointment. I can see if you miss appointments over and over but one appointment. That’s crazy. I’ve also worked in a couple offices and i think it’s crazy they don’t call to tell you insurance has approved procedures. So if your approval expires that’s your fault lol That’s really their job! If they don’t have enough staff to do the job correctly maybe they shouldn’t accept so many patients. I could barely get my last cleaning because no hygienist was available. They hold their selves to higher care and they want blood if you miss an appointment. They take forever to call back. Appointments are booked way to far out.

Experiencia negativa: If you like a dental office who rarely answers their phones and do not respond to voicemails this is the office for you. Two stars because the staff is friendly, but I’m very unimpressed with their communication. Pretty much impossible to book an appointment for a permanent crown after a root canal, I did have to cancel my first appointment (that took forever to even get booked in the first place) because my son got Covid which gave me Covid, and I never heard from them again. Ended up giving up and going elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: From the moment enter, to check in for my appointment, I'm am greeted with politeness and care. The waiting area feels like a comfortable/stylish home enviornment. I have always been afraid of appointment to the Dentist but the Doctors and Staff here have made my dental visits extremely bearable and pleasant. There are Large TV screens in all patient rooms, also very calming music. Dr Chobor and all Hygienist are always very caring, gentle and perform their job well. If there is something out of their scope of practice they will refer you to other Dentist office that may take care your needs. The total time spent there for routine teeth cleaning has never been more than an hour. I definitely recommend this practice.

Experiencia negativa: I had recently moved to the Syracuse area and needed to change dentists. I went to CNY Dental and had an amazing first experience with the dental hygienist. She was friendly and my teeth never felt cleaner! I had a few appointments with Dr. Austin and he was also fantastic. I understand things come up, and sometimes you have to put work on the back burner. I have had two separate appointments cancelled. 1. Dr. Austin was sick (understandable) and 2. Family emergency (again, understandable). So my appointments were changed. After changing one appointment, I had a new appointment date scheduled, but woke up with a running nose and sore throat. So, I had to change my appointment. I called the receptionist and she was very rude. She told me I’d have to pay a cancellation fee or get a doctors note (I should have asked for a cancellation fee when two of my appointments were cancelled, the day of). I then told her I’d go to my appointment, but I’m sick. She then accused me of stating I was going to be 15 minutes late to my newly scheduled appointment. Only to realize I said I’d be 15 minutes early (because they asked if I would come in earlier than scheduled) She then told me in a nasty tone I was fine, and I asked if I could reschedule and she stated I could once my remaining balance was paid. I told her I’d call to pay and make a new appointment in a couple minutes. Which I did, only to get no response. I left a message and have not received a call back and nobody has been answering the phone. I was able to find a new dentist in the meantime because I am not dealing with this. Im disappointed because I really liked the people who worked on my teeth, but I am not going to tolerate disrespect from a secretary on a regular basis.

I have been anxious my whole life about dental visits and bad experiences and finding this place has taken that all away. Between the gentleness and patience of Dr.Julian and his wonderful staff and hygienist’s who are so pleasant and genuinely kind and funny it makes the experience here always great. My hygienist was so kind, which helped the anxiety I had previously had during dental visits at other locations. I leave my appointment feeling amazing and like I have brand new teeth!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had some bad experiences with dentists in the past so I was really worried about getting any work done. I honestly didn’t even feel the injection or have any pain. Only downside is there was a 30 minute wait to be seen after my appointment time, but It was worth it.

Experiencia negativa: Worst customer experience I have ever had in my life. The front manager clapped in my face and yelled at me about a no-show bill that I never knew existed. I tried explaining that I called before the appt and couldn’t make it. She began to yell that I won’t be seen and to leave. She threatened me by looking at my account, and only after looking at my account and realizing that I had been a client for over two years, and it had never happened before she decided to let the dentist see me. My appointment was at 1:30, and I didn’t get seen until 2:15. Finally, I left at 3:30 for a cleaning. She was having someone in the front like that could only make the business go downhill. I’m surprised she even lasted this long. Never again with I return. If I could have given 0 stars I would’ve. I would wait 3 hours somewhere else before I stepped foot in there again.

Experiencia negativa: Called to get an appointment as I haven’t been able to see a dentist since before covid mania. Had to wait like 3 months to be seen because they only take 1 patient at a time, which I was fine with! But then had to cancel my appointment the day before because I got sick. I was told I was not allowed to reschedule because I didn’t give them 2 days notice…I didn’t plan on being sick. I would’ve been okay if they told me I’d have to wait another 3 months to be seen, but to straight up deny me all together over something I had no control over? Especially at a time where anyone can get sick at anytime because Covid is still around. So weird to me.

I was finally able to get in to see Dr Austin for the first time a couple weeks ago and I am so happy with this office. Dentist Filled about 5 of "the cabities" in 1 appt then a month or so later they all started cracking open. They did reimburse me the cost when i submitted pics of all the damage they did, but I have been traumatized of this event since it happened. I do not recommend.

I just started going to CNY dental Arts about couple months ago. Got my first cleaning and then scheduled this appointment today. I was nervous, anxious, scared outta my mind. I can’t express enough how much I love Helen!! She makes you feel comfortable and safe. If you are uncomfortable she will stop and do whatever she can to get you comfortable. She talks to you the whole time your in chair. Explains what she’s doing. Ask how your doing and if your ok. She makes going to the dentist not as bad as you think it it’s going to be. My appointment was at 9am and she just called me before she was leaving work to check and see how I was feeling and if I was doing ok. Now that is a dentist everyone should want. I highly recommend CNY DENTAL ARTS!!! Thank you

Experiencia fantástica: I had my first appt last week. Let me start off by saying scheduling the appt online was super easy and smooth. I appreciated how the system confirms whether or not they accept whatever insurance you have. Also, my daily schedule is generally jam packed so to be able to schedule an appt as a new patient at my leisure without needing to speak with someone was a major selling point for me! Now onto the appt itself; office is very nice, very clean. They were running a bit behind that day but that happens sometimes and the lady taking me back for X-rays explained/apologized and was very sweet & personable and that is always appreciated. Next up was the dental hygienist, she was very nice, communicated what she was doing and even chatted with me while she scraped. I have to say my teeth have never felt cleaner! After she was done the Doc came in, introduced himself, took a look at my X-rays, checked out my teeth, let me know what needed to be done, asked if I had any questions, answered them and then went on his way. I scheduled my next appt and then went on my own way. The whole process from making the appt to interacting with every one in the office was wonderful . EVERYONE I encountered in that office was nice, kind and personable. It’s a great environment, you almost forget that your there for dental work lol I’m looking forward to my next appt, which really isn’t something I thought I’d ever say!

I recommend these guys to everyone now, he’s so good with the needles too , you can’t even feel them !!! and I’m a big baby I got kicked out of a dentist office when I was 10 they told my mother to never bring me back their well let’s just say she listened , I’m 44 and my teeth are definitely not the best , but thanks to dr Austin I’m on my way to a beautiful smile again and restoring and saving almost all of my teeth so I am very great full to have found this office . If you’re looking, just try them I promise you will not be disappointed , they also offer cbd shots for like $5-$7 if you suffer from anxiety , it does not get any better than that . ♥️
