Experiencia negativa: I am no longer a patient here, as you shouldn’t choose this practice. These are the reasons why and the “red flags!” To start, I initially contacted this place for a cleaning. I was asked if I was a self-pay or insured. I was insured, and I am still. The cleaning was subpar, but afterwards the “doctor” propositioned braces, I’ve had braces before as a young adult. States that my insurance would cover them and actually put them on the very day. Well, not him but his associates. I also had a concern about installing two implants. Of course he agreed to that (more money). The problems didn’t arise immediately although a few of my friends were highly unsatisfied with his services and opted to find an actual orthodontist with professionalism and the actual expertise to correct bites, alignments, etc. One particular friend literally had to debate and argue with this dentist because although she was seeing him for months, after about four SHE HERSELF noticed that one of her brackets were placed upside down and even though “doctor” looked at her mouth every single month, he never observed this, or maybe he did- who knows. To get it removed and placed correctly was a hassle. She left, I stayed. He is very hard to communicate with, he isn’t thorough and not willing to inform his patients of procedures, or provide knowledge about the process in general. Just comes in, “say aaah”, “smile” and exits. If you ask questions, he’s very basic, flustered and annoyed most times. You can tell he prefers his customers just to come in, aaah, smile and leave. I’m very much an adult, I need information, I’m curious, I’d like to feel informed and safe about my treatment. He hates questions. He argues. He gets overly upset as if this is a personal situation. He always seems to be under some type of something, always frustrated, always combative. In the end, he maxed out my ortho benefits and left me with an outstanding bill considering I have to see an ACTUAL orthodontist and have them correct the shenanigans he did to my mouth. The last straw was when I went in and told him that I feel like my bite is off. One side of my upper was pushed in so to speak and the other was pushed out. Hopefully you understand- I’ll put in photos. I can feel it. My bite is so off that I now clench and grind my teeth excessively without even knowing. This affected my front two teeth. He wanted to argue about it. Told me I’m trying to do his job, he was VERY AGGRESSIVE and absolutely angry. I was tired. I’ve been tired of him and this establishment because it’s a complete money grab and it’s obvious. The good reviews could very well be from Starbucks gift cards they give patients in exchange for good reviews, I can’t think of why this many people would actually be pleased with this establishment. He has a new location and calls it “Manchester Dental”… same subpar services, same untrained, inexperienced employees. Same BS! Please stay far away from here if you know what’s best for you. This place cost me $5k, in addition to my benefits that were exhausted. Oh yea and he wanted me to get implants there. I agreed until I decided to read the reviews and saw patients having an abundance of issues with their implants. Furthermore, he wanted to install my implants before my alignment and bite was addressed. I don’t understand that. Just be AWARE, use your discernment when choosing whoever you choose to work on your mouth. This place is a sham! This doctor needs more training, a course on professionalism, and a reality check. Litigation will begin shortly and I will update my review as many times as I need to. AGAIN, stay safe.

Experiencia negativa: My experience was awhile back the reason i'm here today is because they keep sending me messages to go in for cleaning. I'm pretty sure I had unsubscribed from their messages already but I didn't again today. Anyway, I went in twice for myself the service was not that bad so I took my family for a cleaning. Not sure if at that time the dental hygienist who worked there was new and if he still works there today but we NEVER went back! The dental hygienist was extremely rough on the cleaning. He hurt EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US. My youngest son who sat still cried and the hygienist was mad. My husband and I are pain tolerant and even my husband hated the way he stabbed him. He also got a mouth infection because of the rough cleaning and hurted for days. Good luck to anyone that goes there for a cleaning. By the way 5 star reviews used to be, not sure if they still are, gift incentive just so you know.

Experiencia negativa: This place is all about money at first I was liking it because they put me and my son braces on with a 100 dollar down payment and 100 for myself every month a 100 for my son every month I have other employees that have braces and recommended them which they all tell me they don’t pay anything for their kids or their braces every month because they sent them new clients as well I have sent them clients myself I called this month to ask can I skip payment this month and still come to me and my son appointment to get our braces tighten mind you I pay faithfully every month on time before time it’s Xmas I’m a single mother no help just bought a house he told the receptionist to tell me know I had to pay before my appt or I couldn’t come in this month! This place all about money money money no compassion no loyalty to their loyal clients and I just can’t do it anymore as soon as me and my son get these braces off i will be joining a new dentist office!!! When you have no compassion no loyalty to ppl who are loyal to you I can’t deal! Around the time Juneteenth holiday I had to a tooth that was bad I already paid harmony dental to fix they put the braces on before ever fixing the bad tooth so Juneteenth came around of course they are closed it was a federal holiday a Thursday the next day I’m calling calling calling no answer which was a Friday I had to find the quickest dentist in Pearland to do an extraction which was pearly whites in Pearland when these braces come off I will be taking my insurance to pearly whites they have their receptionist on call holidays weekends and all and will meet you at the office if something is wrong harmony dental Dr. Vo cares on about money and the insurance you have not your smile or teeth at all this place is a joke seriously!

Experiencia positiva: Nice venue,very clean, clean restroom. The staff is friendly. Multiple ways to pay(cash,credit, insurance etc.) My wife got her braces adjusted here. My only issue is limited parking, but otherwise I definitely recommend this place.

Went to have procedure and spent more than $4k on my implant which ended up breaking when I went back to have it repaired the office staff notified me that there would be no coverage on the repair. The office staff then notified me that once I walk out the door with my implants that they assume no liability or warranty on the implants they install and that I would have to pay to have the whole procedure repeated again. I was very disappointed in there policy to offer no protection on the products/service they provide. That information should be given to patients before agreeing to accept a $4 thousand dollar implant procedure! **Also the implant screws they installed were from a foreign manufacturer which makes it harder to go to another dentists office to fix the implant

The staff was also super great! I had 3 extraction which two we’re my wisdom teeth.. I also got my braces all in the same day! They prices are affordable, and they have payment plans! Experiencia negativa: Front teeth are uneven after braces, and when I told them that I couldn’t bite down on my food correctly, the orthodontist lowkey did not believe me and barely tried to fix it. I’ve held off leaving a review, but I’m tired and I stopped coming here. My retainers were also messed up because the assistant that did my molds kept dancing while it was on my teeth so the mold shifted. The end process felt rushed because I was reaching the end of my monthly payments for the 2 years and they just tried to get the braces off of me as soon as possible. Now my teeth is uneven when I bite down. And this not only goes for me, but it also goes for my friends who have been here for braces too.

Experiencia negativa: I’m not a new patient, but it has been a couple of years since I have been to this clinic. - I have witnessed Dr Vo be very rude to one of the assistants. - When Dr Vo was doing one of my fillings, I told him I needed more numbing. He did not want to because he already gave me “enough”. He continued with the procedure and did not give me more of the numbing stuff until I was crying in the chair from the pain. - They have long wait times in the lobby - You get to wait a lot more once you’re in the chair - rude staff. Today I called to ask for the cash price on a dental procedure. The very rude girl on the phone stated she couldn’t give me a price and said they do only do scheduling and stuff with insurance. I asked if I could speak to someone who could (which is generally a manager) because I had been on the phone calling different dental offices for a quote. All were compliant and willing to give the information being requested. I asked her why a manager would not be able to give me the information I need. She could not give me a specific reason other than the reason she gave me for her not being able to give me information. I made the comment that’s a little sketchy. She apparently took it personal and went off on me, then hung up the phone. Wanting a price on a potential procedure that I have already been quoted is simple information the office should be able to provide. I will add that when did have work done here, I would get letters from my insurance asking what exactly was done at the office along with the EOB. The office handled it but this is the only place I would get those kind of letters for.

Experiencia negativa: Beware of extra claims on your dental insurance. There are several unrecognize claims our daughter EOB. We had contacted Dr. Vo office multiple times for correction however, it never got resolve. Until we contacted dental insurance claim center to resolve it ourselves. This place is very shady. Please be extra careful and review your EOB in detail.

Experiencia negativa: I have been coming to Harmony Dental for 5 years due to having braces, so I’ve seen the changes over the years. For the pass 2 years, I have been able to ignore the 1 hour wait to get called in the back, with the additional 2 hours they have you laying in the seat while they continuously forget you’re there. COVID happened & everyone is understaffed, that, I get. However, my last straw was today. I was scheduled to pick up my retainer on a Saturday at 2pm. I live 48 minutes away, so I do have to take the time out of my schedule to waste 3 hours at this place plus the 96 minute commute. I get here & the doors are locked. I peek inside & I see receptionists at the desk, so I knock. One comes and tells me they are closed & I can’t pick my retainer up without the doctor being there, which I can understand. However, why was I scheduled on a day they were closed? I tried calling a few hours before my appointment & no one answered. Why are the dentist hours not stated on the automated system? Why did the lady who opened the door not offer to reschedule my appointment?

Experiencia negativa: Very unprofessional. Will double check with my insurance what they were billed for. My husband was called about an hour before my appointment for braces. Said they had to reschedule. I lost a day of work. They charge you if you don’t cancel. They always have long wait times to begin with. You can easily be there longer then anticipated.

Experiencia negativa: Don't waste your time and money here. They schedule a lot of patients at the same time. Keep using short staff as an excuse. I have to wait over one hour for my first appointment and over 30 mins for the second one(only because I was concerned about the wait with the lady in front). If you know you are short on staff why keep scheduling many patients at the same time and tell me you are behind? And Don't ever listen to Dr. Vo, very terrible dentist. Again, DO NOT waste your time and money here. Run away!

Two years later and one came off and one is loose. Came back and they cracked my crown and will NOT replace it for me. Manager Nicole saids it's out of warranty but they cracked it in their possession. Going to file a report with the Texas Board of Dental.

Experiencia negativa: These people don't even know what they're doing, not worth your time. I called to schedule my kids an exam and cleaning, and made that clear that was why I needed appointments. They scheduled me for a Friday and when I finally arrived asked me why I'm there, and that the hygienist who does cleanings isn't even there on Fridays. Then tried saying the girl I talked to that scheduled appointments is new and didn't even put their insurance info in when I gave it to her. They didn't even have my kids names right. Total waste of time, Ill find a dentist that is actually organized/professional and knows what they're doing. I had brought my kids to the harmony dental location in Pasadena for years, it's unfortunate that they closed, I never had any issues with them.

Experiencia negativa: Harmony Dental makes over 5 appointments for the same time. They line every one up at 9 am or 2 pm. You will spend most of your day here. They could space the appointment times: 9. 9:30. 10 etc. High arrogance to think people need to wait that long. Once this treatment is finished I'm taking my money to a dentist that respects the value of a client's time.

Experiencia negativa: Facility, trash. Office “manager”, bigger trash. They expect the patients to know everything that goes on with their mouth down to knowing how to read X-Rays. Charge them multiple times for X-rays because “someone dropped the ball” making the patient pay financially for their mistakes. They have patients waiting 30 min to an hour just to be seen for an appointment that was made 30 days ago. If I wasn’t a ortho patient here I would’ve been gone MONTHS ago. Constantly having new staff every visit. I wouldn’t recommend if this was the last dentist office standing.

Experiencia negativa: Sorry guys, but this office is a joke, I went for my daughter as a new patient and I gave them all my dental insurance information a week ahead in that way when I get there for my appointment it would be easy , and they told on the day of my appointment that they need to call my insurance to verify the benefits, I asked them why they didn’t call before because I gave them the information a week before my appointment and they said it was some missing we didn’t have, I told them why didn’t call and ask me, it was too much, lazy people, bad management and they lazy to look for new people who really wants to work because they don’t want to work, if you go there as a new patient like me be prepared to be waiting a long time and they are going to give excuses why are you waiting, they just lazy office,lazy people

Experiencia negativa: Bruh, do not come here. The lady's in the back are like a revolving door. It's always someone new. When I was there a few days ago there was even a patient threatening to sue. It's seems like Dr. Vue doesn't even care. We heard him making a comment about money in the hall way. And the black assisant I guess she didn't think people could hear was talking about when she worked here before Dr.Vue was high and cut his friends lip. What do you mean "high". She said powder. To the lady. Yeah y'all are lucky my mom doesn't know english and I'm close to finishing.

The doctors have changed almost every month. Very disorganized, rude, do not care for their patients. Horrible place. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! How are they still in business!? Experiencia negativa: This dentist office is horrible. Every time I come in here, I arrive 15 minutes early and have to wait an hour to get into my appointment. I had a consultation with the dentist who said my teeth were so small and spaced far apart that my teeth wouldn't need to be ground down to place veneers on them. I came in to my next appointment to get the veneers placed and my dentist was on vacation. They tried to have a rookie dentist that I've never met before place my permanent veneers! Not only that but he was about to destroy my teeth by grinding them down. This is irreversible. I stopped him, and asked the office manager what was going on. She insisted, basically screaming at me that she told me that they would grind down my teeth. She did not. I no longer felt comfortable having such hateful, incompetent people working on my smile. So I left and found a competent dentist office to do the work. I came back to pick up my records and they wanted 30 days and a $45 fee just to hand me a copy of my X-rays that I already paid them for. These people are trash and I have no idea how they are still in business.

Experiencia negativa: I had my braces installed there but haven’t been seen since april. They haven’t called to update on when i can go back. I haven’t had an adjustment in so long. Every-time i call they do not answer or call back aftwr i leave voice message. This is so unprofessional and I can’t go anywhere else because they won’t take me since the braces were installed somewhere else.

Experiencia negativa: I went to pick up my retainer when they called to say it was ready but when I got there I waited for an hour and a half just for them to tell me it wasn’t ready. They could’ve told me sooner. I had my appointment date emailed to me but when I showed up they said I wasn’t on the list even though I have an email saying it was my appointment date, they made me reschedule even though it was their fault. Today, I called to reschedule my appointment and they said to wait but a second later they hung up on me.

Experiencia negativa: Dissatisfied in the way they do business. First of all they ask patients to rate their business a 5 star rating and they will give you a $5 Starbucks card so half of these ratings aren’t true. I financed braces through them and my tooth cracked due to the pressure of my braces and when asked to fix it they said they would free of charge because this was not my fault. Then they close for two months due to covid outbreak. When I finally came in to fix the crack they tried to charge me and was only willing to reduce to half off. Claiming they had to lay off employees during the two months of closure and didn’t know who told me that. This isn’t the only instance of terrible customer service. My husband financed two implants two years ago and is still having issues with them. One is wiggling in its place and the other keeps being sent back to the lab to be molded correctly for the fourth time. It’s been two years and still haven’t received this implant. They are efficient but only when it comes to their money not so much when it’s time to actually do the services that you paid for. I would not recommend this dentist. Save your money. Go somewhere else.

The doctors aren't gentle with the patients and their teeth. They sit you in a chair for over an hour and help other people who arrived after you did. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME

Experiencia negativa: Where is the customer service when they can’t accommodate my kids on Saturday. My kids go to school and I work. Why wait almost 3 months to get seen?? I understand they are booked but three months to get seen just to adjust braces!!??

Experiencia negativa: They used to be good but now there's all new staff, Dr. Vo isn't honoring the prices that were agreed upon. Between me, my husband and son we've paid over 7 grand and so far, one dentist drilled through my cheek, needing stiches, 4 crowns have fallen out and been redone several times and even an implant post came out! I don't recommend anyone come here! We definitely did not get our moneys worth and now have to pay another dentist to fix all that has gone wrong.

Experiencia negativa: Had to walk out after waiting for an entire hour at Harmony Dental for a simple cleaning appointment. Nobody at the reception seemed concerned about the wait time. The problem is this was not the first time, I had to wait for about an hour just to be called in during last year's visit as well for a prescheduled cleaning appointment. There must be a serious flaw in management. They don't seem to realize that people have other things to do besides spending their entire morning at the dentist and keep overbooking while understaffed. I should have made my decision to switch back then.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible experience and customer service. Do not recommend at all. Constant problem for 2 yrs after 2 implants - headaches and daily pain. They did a horrible job and the wait was hours. They finally had a dentist that helped me with the pain/problem but they ran him out. There’s nothing there worth going back for. Before a simple "Cleaning" the dentist suggested I get my 4 front teeth extracted to achieve that "Hollywood Smile"..told me he would return shortly to do the cleaning and went straight to lunch. I was asked to come back another day and my insurance was CHARGED FOR WORK THAT WAS NEVER DONE. Shortly after that experience, I had a minor accident (found out from a more honest doctor my I had a jawline fracture) and one of the sick Dentists at Harmony LIED to me, told me my 2 front teeth were DEAD, and suggested they be extracted immediately. Appalled by this statement, I went to another dentist to find out I was being lied to, that my front teeth were completely fine and simply needed to heal post jawline surgery.. Staff Elizabeth and Ana De Guzman also care for you like family when you go to Harmony Dental. They make their patients feel appreciated. Would definitely have more work done at harmony dental, Pearland office.
