Cindy is so careful I think of it as if it were a spa beauty treatment. I met the new dentist, Dr. Coleman. He has been treating my husband when he cracked a molar on a Saturday ! Today I had a 3rd crown replaced, which looks absolutely amazing ( like the first 2) and I have now completed my Invisalign Dr. Flores is so patient and you do not feel a shot, and I had many with her replacing those crowns! She carefully checked areas of concern and discussed them with me. We reviewed my home brushing, flossing and “water pick” (spelling?) techniques. I always leave dentally better informed from my visits with Cara and with Dr Coleman. Additionally, Ingrid and Michelle, in the front office were as usual informative and friendly. 5 *s

I had a lot of pain and the office staff was able to get me an appointment immediately (yay and thanks!). She referred me to HB Endodontics which was also great (Yelp review)! My pain was resolved thanks to her and the great Ingrid and Kayla! Thank you!! April 22,2025: I have my new crown! Very happy with it and the great team at Surf City Dentist, special thanks to Ray and Dr. Flores! August 22, 2025: An old crown broke! Ingrid got me in quickly. Fortunately, my tooth underneath was healthy. Thanks to Ray, my temporary stayed put while I traveled to my daughter's college. After returning, I have a replacement crown. Very thankful for Dr Flores (and her great explanations) caring attitude! Thank you Surf City!! September 24, 2025: Thank you for taking care of my tooth pain. I appreciate the care and explanations! Experiencia negativa: I returned to Surf City Dental at least five times for the same crown issue, and each time it fell off shortly after being placed. Eventually, I specifically requested that Dr. Coleman handle the procedure himself, hoping that would solve the problem. Unfortunately, it still did not hold, despite his promise of a five-year warranty. After all the inconvenience and loss of time, I had to go to a different dental office, where the issue was resolved quickly and professionally—no problems at all. I brought my concerns back to Surf City Dental and requested a refund, as the original work was clearly faulty. They refunded me only 50%, which felt inadequate considering the repeated failed attempts and the warranty that was supposed to stand behind the work. In response to the owner’s reply: I truly believe I have been confused with another patient. I did not experience any delays in waiting for a crown—my issue was that the crown kept falling out (it was completely redone twice too), and I had to return multiple times to have it reattached. I never had a functioning crown in place for long. I was made to feel as though my return visits were a burden, with Dr. Coleman even referring to the situation as “a saga,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional. Please review my patient notes carefully. I spent considerable time and money trying to get this corrected with your office, only to be forced to go elsewhere. I’m writing this so others can make informed decisions and hopefully find a provider who stands by their work and treats patients with fairness and respect.

The original work was performed by long retired endodontist. Dr. Colman and the support staff did an outstanding job. Experiencia negativa: I had been seeing Dr, Flores' services for several months. She was always cordial and her assistant is very nice. She provided adequate service for that period of time. During my last visit the conversation turned to Invisalign somehow. I understand they are pushing that service right now, but I don't believe it applies to me in the manner in which she described my bite. Her description if my bite wasn't accurate and I have always had the same alignment of my lower teeth as far as I can remember. She exaggerated. As she was highlighting the benefits of Invisalign, she mentioned that it can reduce the appearance of the sunken in cheeks by making the cheeks fuller. This doesn't apply to me and I know that it would be impossible to achieve that. In no way can this service change a person's physiognomy, since it only moves the teeth. It doesn't expand the jaw; nor does it widen the palate. A Palate widening device can only expand the palate by 1 or 2 millimeters at the most. And even then, it wouldn't be able to change the appearance of cheeks. I don't know why she told me this, but this lacks credibility. I am incredulous as I am offended. I think Dr. Flores is overreaching on a promise. And a promise that is unnecessary. As I stated. I am satisfied with her service, but as a result I will be seeking services elsewhere from here on.

She is the first dentist I’ve had that made me feel noticed for my efforts to be an “easy patient.” It feels silly to say but she really made me feel appreciated. Dr Flores(z) rocks! Cindy does my teeth cleanings and she’s a joy to interact with as well. She listens carefully to your preferences and makes efforts to keep you comfortable while she works. I can’t end my review without mentioning the wonderful ladies at reception: Kayla and Ingrid in particular have felt like my dear friends who just happen to have an expert understanding of dental insurance. They are so lovely and a great bonus at the beginning and end of a visit to the dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: Suzanne Hinze- The best family oriented dentist. They treat you like you are part of their family and always update you on what is going on with treatment. They are all up front and eager to help out any way they can. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Experiencia negativa: While the front desk staff are welcoming and kind, there is a noticeable lack of organization and quality control in their processes. Several oversights in their billing practices resulted in me owing over a thousand dollars, and they attempted to charge me an additional $200 due to outdated communication practices among their staff. Although the dentist was effective in calming my anxiety, the filling she placed cracked just one week after it was done, which altered my bite. This shift in my bite subsequently caused me to chip my front tooth. If I were evaluating this office solely on the friendliness of the staff, I would give them five stars. However, my primary concern was receiving quality dental care, not making friends.
