The same color for almost a year like cmon now .

Experiencia positiva: We arrived at 2:48 for a 3:00 appointment and my son was called in at 3:25 and after 3 people who arrived after we did. I also asked about some of his teeth that haven’t come all the way in and they told me they were baby teeth. When I said no they’re not we went to the back and they told me he needs braces to allow those teeth some room to grow in. That part makes sense, but why did they say they are baby teeth??? It’s a weird vibe in there. We won’t go back.

This was awhile ago but Gave me a shot in my mouth so i wouldn't feel it so I got scared and cried. I remember her telling me that kids get this shot and don’t even cry … belittling my feelings. Like at least give me a heads up before giving me a shot in my mouth.

Yesterday my son didn’t have Rubberbands on one side of his mouth. They are not nice and surely not good with kids. I wish I never chose this place to care for my kids needs.

Experiencia negativa: THE ABSOLUTE WORST! DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE. FIND SOMEONE ELSE. I paid $5500 cash out of pocket for braces and they didn't have a consistent orthodontics over the two years they were suppose to be caring for my sons dental work. My son has puffy gums now and will need surgery. They reschedule all the time due to theme always losing their providers. They are never on time. I was never refunded for a year of service that was never received. Again, do not bring your children here at all! I regret giving them my business. It's that horrible. No accountability for their mishaps or lack of providers because they've already taken your money up front.

Experiencia negativa: Made an appointment 1 month in advance. Apt at 8, front office staff especially Ms. Ruby who were snotty and rude. It’s like, if you don’t have medicade, they don’t know how to file correctly. Ended up waiting over an hour and a half up front for them to get all that together and still mess up billing for a simple cleaning and x-ray. I will say that the hygienist and the ortho team were great and kind and respectful. We were there for a total of 3 hours and 48 min. All for a cleaning. After dealing with the front office staff, I will NOT be going back there.

Experiencia negativa: My son has had a couple of fillings here. They drilled so deep that they hit a nerve and he was crying the whole time. This last time he felt the drilling, and it was very uncomfortable once again. It’s fine if they do a cleaning. But it’s another thing when they hurt you during a cavity being filled.. I had already previously told them before they took him in the back. Please be careful as he had such a bad experience last time. I think I will stay with them for their cleanings… But choose another dentist for any future fillings.

The way they treated my teenage daughter—eye rolling and rude, nasty attitude—was completely unacceptable. She came home crying, and that breaks my heart. Parents, please be cautious bringing your children here.

Experiencia negativa: I’m not a fan of parents not being allowed to go in the back with their children. I would often look through the glass and noticed my child was sitting in chair unattended for at least thirty minutes. I do I understand that they have other patients to tend to, but maybe they shouldn’t overbook appointments. My daughter told me she was crying because they told her to open her mouth for X-rays and she did … she has a small mouth so they forced the big camera in her mouth to take the X-ray then forced her mouth shut… she then told me that the other lady told her hygienist to be on a watch for her … she s trouble… referring to my kid… this child does not get in trouble in school o and I don’t have behavior issues with her. … but she does feel uneasy around certain medical professionals… maybe if the workers would smile and be more welcoming to the children then it would be a more pleasant experience for everyone!

Experiencia negativa: I called off two days straight and waited for 2 hours each day just not to be serviced. They didn’t look at me the whole time. I’m pregnant so they needed a clearance so it gave them a reason to dismiss me everytime. I need a supervisor or someone to contact me because this isn’t right. I missed job opportunities and everything to Just get A CLEANING. I waited in the chair after they finally got me in and I saw two doctors on their phone while me and 2 others waited. How do I report to corporate, something needs to be done ASAP

Experiencia negativa: They are not prepared to deal with children, I am surprised by the policy that children 5 years and older cannot be accompanied by their parents, today was the last time I go to this office, since my daughter is medicated because she is going through an anxiety period, to which I asked them if they would allow me to enter with her because she was anxious, and they said no, I think they are not prepared to treat children with any medical condition, and in conclusion, with any child, because at 5 years old no child wants to be separated from their parents to enter an office alone and hear the noise of machines in their mouths...

Experiencia negativa: My kid did great all considering. Wasn't told they would be pulling 4 of her teeth. I was told only 2 would be pulled because they were loose and wouldn't fall out on their own. She was not given any pain medication and was expected to go to school the following day. Was told I was not allowed in the back with her because "we don't allow parents in the back with children over 10", my daughter is 9. They took like 8 xrays because they kept taking the wrong ones. Daughter told me that while they gave the numbing shot the dentist told her to stop moving her feet because it was distracting the dentist, the dentist who should be nose to teeth in my daughter's mouth. You are not a podiatrist, stop looking at her feet. Very unprofessional. We will not be attending her follow up. My experience was so bad I would rather pay out of pocket for her work to be done at her regular dentist. Yall should do better. Yall not letting parents back there is unexceptable, especially when you lie to every parent. I've seen not allowed back with a 4 year old on these reviews. So what's the age? 10? 9? 5? 4? And why is this policy not in the paperwork?

Experiencia negativa: My kids are new to the city and the insurance was a hold up and took a long time. Then the staff had no patience for kids and they specialize in pediatrics and the dentist was moving so fast from patient to patient that it really wasn’t anytime for the kids to understand especially when not even introducing herself or anything and talked about teeth removal. Definitely will not be going back and also having an issues saying that their pediatrics but no patience or kindness for kids.

Experiencia positiva: The dental hygienist staff is very good. The ever changing front office needs some people skills training. Do not continue to offer braces services unless there is an entire setup in place, including fulltime office staff who can coordinate with the dental side. There also needs to be an orthodontist who is familiar with working alongside a dental staff.

Experiencia negativa: I grew up on this side of town & haven’t ever came across a doctor that seems to miss treat patients and people. I took my son in for fillings after having to leave previous apts because the job never gets done in 1 appointment. I understand kids can get anxious ect. But it’s a children’s dental office these people should have the patience. I say that to say at this appointment they were ready to strap him down to that bed & get it done soon as they started & my child already seemed uncomfortable & was never checked to make sure he was, I was barely explained anything at all & I was yelled at by The dentist himself MARK GUILLORY. All I asked was if my son was ok because he was strapped down to a bed screaming like I’d never heard & all they kept saying was they’ve heard worse. He stood up & got in my face & told me “Parents were his biggest problem “ & began to explain & go off in a rude tone , while my child still screaming in the background he was popping off at the mouth I had to cut him off to ask again if my son was okay because that’s all I needed to know, I didn’t need the extra crash out about how parents ruin his day ect. I needed to know my child was okay he sits down & basically teased me for asking & he ruined our day & traumatized us now my child doesn’t want Togo back to the dentist. He is only 4 years old & very smart. He just needed to feel safe & sadly the man at this place did a rush job & got us out in a traumatic way. It’s ashamed to treat people the way he did.

Experiencia negativa: Update to my original then updated review. Taylor dental said 1 child had 3 cavities and the other 5. At their 6mth check up. I knew something was up when I asked to see Nasty 2025 x-rays and compare them to November 2024. And was told they didn't do be xrays.. find my other review you'll understand. Well guess what. New dentist today. X-rays done in both girls. Not 1 damn cavity in with mouth. Can someone say possible Medicaid fraud

Experiencia negativa: *****Edited post. ***Fast friendly thorough.... that was November 2024. Now for my update. December 2024 1 child has dental work for 2 cavities. Here comes May 2025. Regular 6mth check up. Both kids have cavities between teeth. 3 for 1 child 5 for the other. I was in total shock couldn't believe this happened in 6mths. I asked to see the xray. I was told they didn't do x-rays today. I asked ok them how do you know?. Because we are going off of November's x-rays... wait but only 1 child had cavities. I want told anything about my 2 kids having other cavities and no work being done last year.. her response of our policy is to wait and see if it gets worse. I was ... well I can't curse on here..... let's just say today in June 2025 we are going to another dental office. How the hell you don't work on teeth with cavities until 6mths later waiting for the cavities to get bigger.

Experiencia fantástica: I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment they take care of me at the time I have my appointment and they did a great job, les than 10 minutes. Great service.

Experiencia negativa: I really didn't want to give that because they don't deserve that at all. They should have an zero after what they did to my child. I brought my child to her appointment today. She had to pull four wisdom teeth and they didn't give her anything for pain. Before we left they said they was going call and give her medicine for pain and they never did. I had call the pharmacy to see if they had call in my child some medicine for pain and they didn't. Then when I call back they said they was going call the pharmacy and apparently they didn't. They was acting like they call the pharmacy and when I went to the pharmacy they said they didn't call at all. So now my child has to be pain all night until they call the pharmacy for her medicine. Who lets a child be in pain after pulling teeth out? Hopefully they will call so she can have the medicine she needs. This is the worst experience ever. Now i have to see my child in pain this is crazy they have to do better.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve never really had any issues with this place. I brought my oldest here back when it was Kool Smiles, But we don’t live nearby so we went to a closer dentist for a while. When my youngest was diagnosed with an intellectual disability, I specifically chose to drive farther from home to start using this dentist again because they had wide open rooms for cleaning which made it easier for me to stay with my kid during appointments. Traditional dental offices have small rooms and there’s nowhere for the parent to be. Today, I found out that they have a new policy where they don’t allow parents in the room if the child is over 5. When you have a nonverbal eight-year-old with the intellectual ability of a one-year-old, that doesn’t fly. You’re not separating me from a child that can hurt himself or that can’t advocate for himself if something bad happens. I’ve seen how long kids are left waiting in those chairs for someone to come and clean their teeth. That’s way too much time for him to get up, fall down, grab something sharp. My 10-year-old had her appointment just like normal, it went fine. But I’m not taking my kids to two different dentists because of a policy that doesn’t accommodate disability, so this will be our last time at Taylor Dental.

Experiencia positiva: I’ve always been allowed to accompany my autistic child until today. I was told flat out no or I could take him and leave the appointment. I find this completely unacceptable for not accommodating my child’s needs. I was asked if I had any questions and I told them my questions and never got answers. I watched my child from the window and his body was completely stiff in the chair the entire time.

So at Taylor Dental, I went to tell the lady at the desk and mention to her that I needed to inform the dentist about problems that my son was having and she says; oh I'm sorry a few months ago we changed the policy and parents aren't allowed in back with kids over 10.I waited and waited for about 40 minutes and then they came from the back So, of course his problem was not fixed and on top of that they wrote him and prescription that we could pick up because they sent it in wrong. So we are still waiting on approval for that we are now on day two and my son is still in pain. Currently, we are back at the ER for the second time today.1 day after his dentist. On top of all this unprofessional dental service, my daughter went in for a clean and leaves with her mouth hurting as well. What kind of establishment is this???You go on for a cleaning and leave with more pain and pain you didn't have before. I recommend noone takes their kids there for dental work. Sadly, my family and I will not be going back there.
