I was a bit nervous, the tech offered to hold my hand she said count to 10 your tooth(1st)should be out(2nd) tooth was difficult to come out so the tech gave me a lil sponge ball to grip onto . Felt no pain as she was getting my teeth out. Thank U ladies

They were so nice, cheerful at 9 o’clock in the morning made me feel good that they were so happy and nice then you have the ones in the back the ladies that took my x-rays was amazing so nice and then the doctor was absolutely amazing and then the manager That went over my treatment plan was an absolute pleasure. I highly highly recommend this place.

Experiencia fantástica: I am terrified to start my denture journey at a young age but I’m ready. I went for my consult and was vey relaxed there. The staff is all very nice and helpful. I had my extractions dentures placed Monday. The process went smoothly. Unfortunately my immediate dentures are not right in several ways. I know that I will have to changes made through the process but couldn’t wear my dentures the first day. They fell out of my mouth. I went in on Friday and went over some of the issues and the technician made some changes. I needed to use adhesive but I could wear my tip denture. The bottom dentures were far too long at the ends and nothing would make them stay in. I will keep going in as much as needed. I expected to be uncomfortable and a huge learning curve. However, I’d hoped I would have been able to wear both top and bottom at this point. Dentures are not for the faint of heart! In the picture you can see that when I smile my lip is on top of the top ridge of my denture. I won’t give up Until I have what I need. I paid quite a lot of money out of pocket. I am on Medicaid but they really only paid a fraction of the cost. Keep trudging!

Even my dentist told me that I couldn’t get partial because of my overbite ‍♀️. I seen the commercial for Affordable Dentures & Implants. They were nice and sympathetic. They gave me my smile back. I see on tv how they show the patients their new smile and they start crying. I thought it was a show. When I seen my smile, all I could do was cry. I finally had my confidence back, I had my smile back.

Experiencia positiva: Nice people but don't listen to the client. My first full top plate, but i've had several top partials. Never had this problem. My teeth were too large the first day I wore them out of the office. I mean falling out of my mouth, too big. I was told my gums had to heal. I don't understand if my gums too swollen then seems to me the teeth would fix too tight not fall out, here I am at least 6 months later with my last fitting, and they're still too big. Now I'm being told some people never get a suction and I'll need to use fixodent or etc. The teeth are not fitting properly!!

Experiencia negativa: Very dissatisfied with dentures wasted 2300 dollars have gone back several times for adjustments and tooth that fell out and one that broke off at gum line, and after less than 3 weeks of having dentures the o rings blew out of my lower denture and my implants were blamed, so now I just have dentures that bounce because the orings are gone again but I was told I would have to pay for more orings very disappointed that I spent so much on dentures I can't wear comfortably

Experiencia negativa: **Update** I would like to retract my off color joke about the doctors education. Someone from the office called this morning. Although I was studying and did not want to distracted I answered the phone anyway. I'd assumed they were calling to reschedule a time to complete the extraction. Or if that was to complex to send me a prescription for a antiseptic mouthwash or antibiotic since this cavity is stuck in my gums until I could get to the oral surgeon. Or maybe just to profusely apologize and see how I was doing.The representative gave me a dismissive apology and spent the entire conversation trying to bate me into an exchange about my poor taste joke concerning the dentists education. I said jokingly that I made the joke and I'm stuck with a root in my tooth. But that joke was not well received either. Allow me to clarify I know nothing about the doctors education and that was not for me to say. I apologized in private on the phone so I am not doing it publicly. I apologized for hurting anyone's feelings it was not my goal to be disrespectful. I was just adding some humor. **Update** Omg! I hate to leave a bad review because I still hope to get my partial from there when I get my dental work else where but I have to warn other people. I don't know if my dentist is in training or what but oh my gosh. At first I was excited to see a sister as a dentist but that excitement fades quickly. The dentist did use a lot of numbing but she was trying to pull a back tooth and it was killing me. And I know she put a lot of stuff my mouth is still numb so I said ok let me just go to a oral surgeon. No problem even though I paid 60 dollars in Uber back and forth not including the tip for nothing. So the she says she is going to try again and this is the part man I'm not even angry I am just so, so depressed. So the front tooth had a cavity and needed to be pulled so she took the pliers and just pulled out the tooth we can see. As I type I still have the root and everything. So I asked her could she remove the root. She said it would be too much work to dog in there and get it out. That I could let the oral surgeon dig in there and remove it. But the oral surgeon didn't break it off. I guess she broke it in order to get to the back tooth but now I have just the root and stuff inside my gums and no tooth hanging down. She said it would hurt the same since the tooth is still in the gum. So I'm like man this sucks. At least I had a tooth with the ache. Now I have the same ache I went in there with except there is no tooth. If it was to much trouble to dig in there and get the root of the tooth why did she break it off. I wonder if she is like a dental student or something. I'm in school a lot of times people just use AI and dont really get the information I don't know if you can do that for dental school. Now that I think about it it's so messed up. I am going to call them and ask them since she broke the tooth shouldn't they go and get the rest of it out of my gums. But I will have to wait until I have another $60 dollars for the Uber.

I scheduled an appointment on line I told them I had a infection in my mouth for at least 2 weeks they called me within 30 minutes seen me had to take an implant out because the infection had went all around the implant they knew I was in very bad pain so instead of making me wait and come back the sweet doctor took the implant out done some kind of bone graph just to try to get me out of some of the pain. She was a very good doctor and seemed to know exactly what needed to be done.

Experiencia fantástica: I have always used Affordable Dentures in Louisiana but it was my first time with this one in Shreveport. The front desk was very friendly and knowledgeable. The procedure was kinda long when getting implants but there was no pain and I never went without my teeth until my implants were in and I’ll tell you there is no other way to go. It’s so nice to be able to eat and the bottom teeth say in place. I’m very satisfied with my implants. Well worth the money I’d hope in years to come maybe the cost could come down for people who can’t afford them now. It makes all the difference.

Dr. Smith and Ms Lois did such an amazing job that my phone rang and I told the person on the other line that I would call them back I’m getting my tooth pulled. Once I hung up the phone Dr. Smith said to me your tooth is already out. Now that’s crazy work!! I also witnessed this dentist wearing several hats in the building while performing procedures. I was anxious and nervous but they really calmed me down and can't wait to finish out my dental work with them So I came the next day to have my extractions done and Dr Shah was amazing. He was calm and confident and very informative. Ms. Lois was very professional and very helpful. I felt like I was really being taken care of. Now I'm back for follow up and Ms. Lee ann is taking care of everything great. So glad I chose affordable dentures I'm back at affordable dentures for a repair that I caused. They are always top notch, friendly, and professional. I'll always use them and reomennd them. Another great visit to affordable dentures.

Experiencia positiva: The lady who did my molding was causing me pain because the metal was scratching my gum where there was also a bone and she kept pushing it down She was not companionate when I was letting her know that it hurt really bad. She said it’s not touching your gums but it was. She was unconcerned about my pain. It was a bad experience. Hopefully she won’t treat anyone else that way. Other than that the other staff was nice.

Experiencia negativa: My experience at this place has not been good. My dentures do not fit and I cannot eat with them at all. Whenever I put anything in my mouth to try to chew they become loose in my mouth with my food. I have tried to use adhesive to hold them but it doesn’t matter. When I tell them this they just say it’s going to get better. It hasn’t gotten better since day one. The last time this guy realigned them for me it was worse than before. I didn’t think that could happen but it did. I have been out of more than $10,000 dollars for teeth that I cannot use. It’s almost a year and still nothing is happening different. If management is reading this I need someone to help me with this situation.

Experiencia negativa: I've had dentures for over 15yrs. I am a coward when it comes to dentist. I work in retail where I deal with the public on a daily base. July 2025 was the 1st time I went to a different site! I was told that it had moved to a new location. A decision that I truly regret. The customer service was amazing The doctor was very patient. I didn't have insurance and had to pay cash. While there, I overheard them say that they had a call in or out, someone didn't come to work, so they had only one tech that day! That should have made the red light come on. Long story short, its been a month, since my replacement. This is the very first time in over 15yrs that I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED with Affordable and MY PRODUCT! I can't eat with them, they hurt, they make my face look swollen I Look like Mr. ED, the horse. Not comfortable with smiling. Don't eat in public, money wasted. Then was told that they were my permanent set. The other site gave months till my swelling went down. Not them. Don't know about you, but $1,000 is a lot of money to throw away. I didn't know till I got in the seat, that this was a whole different site. I was told that it moved their. Now I have to save more money just to have them replaced the new replacement. I feel my work was a rush job. Affordable Dentures has always done and amazing job and the quality of the work was outstanding then. This time I can't say that. You can go, would not recommend that location in Shreveport.

The dentist comes in and checks you out..answers your all questions. No judgement..very respectful..nice..all that jazz. It's good. I'm getting upper and lower full dentures. I'll update with pictures once I go through the extractions and get my new teeth. I'm pretty stoked!
