Dr. Ross came with an entirely positive vibe and tons of information, which instantly comforted me and put my nerves at ease. He very efficiently applied the local anesthesia, and I felt nothing more than my jaw wiggle during my tooth extraction. I had a bit of a laugh about it all and I can’t wait to come back. 10/10 recommend for anyone having dental issues or just looking for a check up!

When they say they'll accommodate for dental emergencies, they aren't lying. I'm a truck driver and I was driving from Albuquerque with a badly infected tooth, and was running late, and they stayed late to take care of me. The care I received, was top notch. My insurance wouldn't cover the work, but they worked with me, and the cost was very reasonable. This place is deserves more than 5 stars.

I had no issues Post surgery and they thoroughly explained how to care for my sockets afterwards. I even went to work the day following the procedure.

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Taylor Ross is an outstanding citizen. I live down the street from the office and he assisted me with pushing my vehicle out of a flooded road once before. However, I give a one star rating to the office management and front desk as they can be inconsiderate. I was a state employee being forced into overtime on a regular basis and needed to reschedule two cleaning appointments with Pueblo West Neighborhood Dental. I was fired as a patient from them as a result of me rescheduling over two years ago. They still refuse to see me as a patient. I recommend to go elsewhere for your dental needs if you're in any line of shift work that can be sporadic at times. Thank you Dr. Taylor Ross for helping out a citizen from your community that was in need.

Experiencia fantástica: Back in 2018/2019, I was in excruciating pain as my root canal was failing, from a previous dentist, and I came to Dr. Ross for some help! Of course it had to happen on the day they were closed, but Dr. Ross took me in as a new patient and they were able to pull the failed root canal tooth the very next day they were open! I now have been a patient with Dr. Ross for over 5 years and would recommend his office to anyone and everyone! Dr. Ross and his staff are incredibly helpful and cheerful! They always walk you through every step of the proces, make sure you are ok with the procedures and cost, and if you are not ok or worried about anything, they will always talk to you about alternatives! Plus, they actually talk to you like a person and not a dollar amount! 5+ stars all the way!

Each procedure was explained in detail to me and was comfortable and successful. Over the years I have needed just a few 'emergency' visits and Dr. Ross and the staff made sure to get me what I needed as quickly as possible. I can tell that Doc and the team take pride in taking great care of their patients. Cindy does an excellent and comfortable job cleaning my teeth. Cannot say enough positive things about Pueblo West Neighborhood Dental!

Experiencia fantástica: I recently had a dental emergency and Dr. Ross and his staff came to the rescue. In a glorious act of clumsiness, I managed to fall off of my kitchen chair and knock most of my front tooth out. The root was totally exposed and it was very painful. I don’t have a regular dentist here, so I just started calling around until I found someone that could get me in. Dr. Ross’s office was the only place I called (out of many) that was willing to take me in, as a new patient, that same day, because they cared about how much pain I was in. I have had some not so good dental experiences in the past and was very nervous about what this “repair” was going to be like. Specifically, I have had trouble with dentists and doctors being able to get me numb and keep me numb. This was the most severe dental work I have had to have in my life and I was terrified. The moment I walked into the office, everyone was so kind and understanding. Dr. Ross calmed me down and explained everything in detail that he was going to do, in order to fix me up. Allesha and Candy were both amazing dental assistants that spent lots of time with me and made sure I was always comfortable and they were able to get me numb and keep me numb during the ENTIRE ordeal. Plus, the music was good and the slideshow that plays while you sit in the dentist chair was fun and interesting, and the best part…The new chomper they all built for me is more beautiful than the one I started with (I mean before the accident)! They are artists! For the scariest dental work I have ever had, this was one of the best dental experiences I have ever had. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Ross and I can’t recommend this office and his staff enough, they are the best!

I cant say enough good about Dr. Mark. He is personable and the dental work he's done on me has always been pain free and good quality. Definitely the best dentist I've ever been to!

Experiencia fantástica: My boyfriend was in severe pain from an infection that is otherwise known as an abscess. I called many dentists and nobody would even offer any kind of help. The entire right side of his face hurt on down the right side of his neck. This was a Saturday and getting any help was impossible but Dr. Ross called me back and then called in an antibiotic and Tylenol 3. He met us at his office at 8:30 at night and took great care of my boyfriend. Dr. Ross is now my boyfriend's favorite. He will get our business from now on. He deserves it after coming in late at night after nobody else would offer any help. He's the best in our eyes and we will forever be grateful for his knowledge and help. He's nothing short of a fabulous person and professional dentist. A staff member even came in to help with insurance and we are so grateful to her as well. I gave five stars because he went above and beyond along with his staff member that came in. You just don't see that anymore. Keep up the good work!!

Experiencia negativa: My issue with Pueblo West Neighborhood Dental is with how they handle billing for individuals without insurance. I came in and was given 3 quotes on one piece of paper, see the picture below. The 1st one was for the initial visit $49.00. The next two were my two options: I was told by Dr Ross that I could fix two fillings for $400.00 total at $200 each OR the other quote was I would fix one of the filling and crown the other for a more permanent/long term solution. As you will see the bill got much higher to $1162.00. I was given both prices in writing as you can see in the picture; I was told it would be $400.00 with my discount to fix both fillings or it would be $1162 for a crown and filling with my discount. I am now being charged $1362 in total, despite Brittany specifically telling me that those would be my prices to fix my two teeth. I then tried to talk to Summer at the front desk, but all she could say was Pueblo West made a mistake when they quote me and I now have to come up with an additional $200 for Pueblo Wests mistake? Locals or Travels in Pueblo West please be careful. Pueblo West Dental is now trying to say by their quote, that I needed to pay the $1162 to fix the crown and an additional $200 to fix the other filling. However that is NOT what I was told or how it was presented to me by Brittany or Dr Ross. I learned valuable lesson learned here folks and all I want to do is warn others of my negative experience and being overcharged by almost 20%. The only good thing here is since I saved the quote they gave me I can dispute these charges with my credit card company. So please save your receipts and make sure Dr Ross and the people at Pueblo West Dental are very clear on your charges otherwise Pueblo West will try and nickel and dime you after they’ve done all the work. Shame on Dr. Ross and his entire staff for taking advantage of a disabled combat veteran and a local pueblo resident. I will not be back, even for warranty work if something does happen to my crown - I’ll go elsewhere. I do not recommend Dr Ross his staff at Pueblo West Dental or that you stop in and check this dental establishment out. It could cost you a lot money money, time or pain in the long run. Update 10 June 2022 I would like to note that Pueblo West Dental has replied to many reviews since I have left mine. However they have not replied to mine or reached out to me directly to resolve their billing issue. Instead as a business they disregard their negative reviews and focus on their positive, now ask yourself does that seem like good customer service to you?

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love doctor Ross and his staff. I have such a phobia of dentist. My crown broke while I was in Colorado. I'm a traveler so I'm all over the place all the time. This awesome doctor got me in ASAP. Then he work with me to get two more crowns and two fillings fixed and the cleaning. Amazing. As a matter of fact so amazing I'm going back to Colorado next year to visit a friend and have doctor rocks work on my teeth. I was as relaxed as I possibly could be having dental work done

I was asked repeatedly if I was comfortable throughout my whole appointment and they were quick and efficient while also not making me feel rushed. They entire team really cares about your dental health and goals. Today I had the pleasure of working with Cindy and she was absolutely wonderful. Experiencia negativa: Pueblo west neighborhood dental offered me a FREE consultation and recommended a $1000 cleaning. When I called to cancel the appointment I was told there would be no cancellation fee. Now some time later they are reporting me to a credit agency for $140. For what. I guess that's how you treat a vet.

Wonderful and professional from reception to Dr Ross, and pleasantly casual through and through. Communication was welcomed through the entire process as well as photos! Experiencia fantástica: My daughter is a patient here and while I was visiting her from out of town a temporary crown on my front tooth came off. I called their office and was greeted with a spectacular receptionist! I was able to be seen within 45 minutes of my call! Once I was there I was treated with the best care. The Dr took time to really work on my tooth to make sure it was seated with the least chance of it coming off again. I might add that this was all 2 days before Thanksgiving! My tooth fit as well as a permanent crown and I was able to enjoy every bite of our Thanksgiving meal!

Experiencia fantástica: IF YOU HAVE ANXIETY ABOUT GOING TO THE DENTIST YOU'RE GOING TO WANT TO READ THIS! It’s going to be long but hear me out. I should start by saying I suffer absolutely awful anxiety about going to the dentist. A traumatizing experience at the age of 12 left me with such a fear of the dentist the only time I would go was when the pain got to the point it would override my anxiety. This is the reason I called to make an appointment with Pueblo West Neighborhood Dental. I thought this would be like every other dental appointment but boy was I wrong. The receptionist went out of her way to get me an appointment ASAP knowing how much pain I was in. When I came in everyone could see how nervous I was, clutching a tissue and crying. Seeing this the entire staff was gentle, caring and patient. The tech went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and after being numbed for the procedure I was even treated to a short shoulder rub and calming words of advice by another member of staff. Dr. Ross came in and with a friendly smile sat down and took the time to talk to me about the reason I was there, but also about my extreme anxiety and embarrassment over how my teeth look. I received zero judgment about the health of my teeth, instead I was encouraged to look forward to what could be a return to heath for my teeth in the near future. The work was done in no time and afterwards when I felt faint(yeah I’m a fainter too I’m a pain in the butt) I was shown kindness and understanding as well as given juice and time to relax before heading out. I’ve been searching for years for a dentist that I can go to proactively to take care of my teeth and get further work done instead of only going when there’s a problem and now I know I’ve finally found one. I can’t recommended Pueblo West Neighborhood Dental enough! The entire practice is filled with people who went far above and beyond what was called for to take care of me. If you are putting off going to the dentist because of anxiety, like I was, that can stop today. Don’t wait any longer, call and make an appointment with them TODAY, you won’t regret it!

Experiencia negativa: I made a new patient appointment for both my daughter and I. We were scheduled at 2 in the afternoon. I assumed, just like every other dentist I have seen, that you get a cleaning, x-rays and then an exam. They called me the day before my appointment and asked if we could come in earlier to see the hygienist. I asked what we were coming in for at 2 and they said they do a separate x-ray and exam with the doctor, then schedule cleanings at a later time. I said oh ok. I asked if my youngest daughter who is three and son who is 10 would be able to come because my husband was not able to get off in the morning to watch them. She said we could bring them with masks on. Yesterday the day before our appointment (today) was the first day I ventured out with my kids. My 3 year old would not keep her mask on, let alone keep it on for two hours at a dental appointment. So I called this morning to tell them I didn’t feel comfortable bringing her to the hygienist appointment but that we can make it to the 2pm appointment with the doctor. The receptionist told me that couldn’t reschedule until September. I said ok, was put on hold for a very long time, she got back on and said that they had a cancellation while I was on hold today at 12:30. I told her I would have to see if my husband could make it home by then, if so no problem. I called back to tell her that I couldn’t make it because he was not able to be home at that time. She then proceeded to tell me that the doctor saw I canceled and would no longer be able to see me as a patient there because of their broken appointment policy. I just said ok and that was that. For one, I don’t think I should be shamed for not wanting my 3 year old there for two hours during a pandemic. For two, they were not clear that my 2pm appointment was cancelled even after I mentioned my confusion on seeing the doctor before a cleaning. Again, I just assumed that like all previous dentists I have seen, you get a cleaning then x rays and and exam in the same day. Three, why would she tell me she could reschedule me for September if she knew about this so called policy? Then come back and say that I can no longer be seen because of it. Four, I am a new patient and was not informed about this policy before this happened, nor did I sign anything stating I understood that, so I don’t see how I can be faulted for it. It is very unfortunate. I just wanted to keep my children safe from being exposed to others during this time. This was not ok.

I went in expecting to lose my top teeth, but what a treat to find out I didn't have to. The staff is friendly, kind and obviously love their jobs. I am a patient for life!

Experiencia fantástica: I have never been to a dentist office like Dr Ross's! The whole staff is friendly, happy in their jobs which is a testament to Dr Ross. A happy boss makes for a happy staff! I had 20+ years of avoiding dentistry and the time came that I didn't have a choice. Dr Ross listened to my fears and did everything he could to make me feel comfortable in my not so comfortable situation. He guided me through each procedure holding my mental hand. The end result is I have teeth, healthy teeth. Now I am have a smile make over and it was my choice! I can hardly wait! I've had a 100% turn around in my attitude toward dentistry...all because of the art, skill and compassion of a very nice man! He's the best!

Dr. Ross reminded me of my home town dentist very friendly and personable, he took the time to sit down and get to know you. They all made you feel welcome and I walked out knowing I had made the right decision calling them. I highly recommend then.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a pretty bad dental emergency earlier, and they got me right in. From the first time I called on the phone to see if they would take me, to the end of the appointment, I felt nothing but care from Dr. Ross and his staff. I had already had a bad experience with a dentist here in town from an earlier tooth infection a couple months prior, and it made me hesitant to call, but I’m SO GLAD I did. I’ve never had a Dr (or staff) of any sort spend as much time as he has explaining, telling me my options and then continually asking my thoughts on the process. Here shortly I know I’ll finally be able to smile again without hesitation after a few more appointments, and Dr. Ross is making that happen. Plus, the fact he lived and practiced in my hometown a few years ago makes me feel even more comfortable, almost like a small sense of home. I didn’t have a regular Dentist (ever) in my life, but now I do! And of course, I’ll make sure to tell everyone in need of dentistry work to go here. You can tell the staff are happy, want to help and care. They’re amazing!!

Experiencia fantástica: Honestly, where should I begin, the whole experience from the moment I drove into the parking lot and saw the beautiful building, to when I first walked in and felt the warm comfortable surroundings and smelled the therapeutic aroma of the room, to meeting the lovely receptionist with her beautiful bright friendly greeting. This office and the entire staff superseded any expectation I could have had. Each and every single employee I came across had a genuine smile and warmth about them. You can tell these folks are happy to be working with each other and for this wonderful dentist. As for the dentist, I was beyond impressed. He was kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He took time and explained everything in detail. In a nutshell, Courteous & Professional. Excellent Care. Great Experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Ross and his marvelous assistants, Candy and Alicia, are simply the best. Actually, the whole crew from the front end to the back is top notch. I went in furious by the betrayal of a molar, to be told it would have to go. Dr. Ross and Miss Candy patiently listened to my nervous banter before we got to the main event. Now, I'm not familiar with the sorcery that is in the good dentist's hands, BUT...30 seconds later I'm without a molar, and one dose of ibuprofen after that, I have had zero pain!!
