Note that they are trying this with other reviewers as well. My honesty is not for sale, they’ve lost all my respect now. The dental assistant “Amanda” is very disrespectful and has a serious attitude problem. Please request your staff to create a friendly and hospitable environment for your patients. Every question and response was treated in a condescending manner by this rude and incompetent dental assistant. She deserves to be put on a probation. The doctor was really sweet and understanding though. I won’t be visiting this clinic again. I usually don’t leave negative reviews and callout people by their names but this experience forced my hand. For others, If you’re visiting this clinic, steer clear of this dental assistant.

When my parents were visiting from India, my mom’s dental bridge unexpectedly came off while eating. It was a stressful moment for all of us, but Bellevue Dentistry stepped in right away. They were kind enough to get us an appointment the very same day. Dr. Soni was incredibly transparent and caring. She explained the risks upfront and let us know she would do her best to fix the bridge, but if it didn’t hold, my parents might have had to return to India since their insurance wouldn’t cover dental care here. She spent over an hour working with such patience and precision — and she got it right. We were mentally prepared for the worst, but thanks to her skill and dedication, the bridge held perfectly for the rest of their stay. My parents were able to enjoy their months with us without any dental worries. Thank you, Dr. Soni and the entire Bellevue Dentistry team, for treating us like family and keeping our smiles bright. The doctor her name is Dr Mariam Very nice, friendly listen one of some things that the last dentist office told me that I needed to have done and turn out that I did not need it so glad I found someone that is upfront on his and cares about her patience. I will definitely recommend people to dislocation here in Bellevue outstanding.

Experiencia negativa: I visited this clinic for a routine dental cleaning and was advised to proceed with deep cleaning and sealants as preventive care. Before agreeing to any treatment, the staff checked my insurance, informed me that my out-of-pocket cost would be $100, and also emailed me a written estimate reflecting this amount. On the day of the procedure, I was told that sealants might not be covered by insurance. I clearly stated that I did not want to proceed if they were not covered and pointed out the estimate email I had received mentioned differently. They checked again and mentioned it’s covered. I raised this concern multiple times, including before the doctor began the procedure, and each time I was reassured that the treatment was covered and that the clinic would clarify it internally. Based on these repeated confirmations, I agreed to proceed and paid the estimated amount upfront, as required by the clinic. A few days later, I unexpectedly received a bill for $284, after my insurance denied the sealant claim, stating that sealants are covered only for patients under 18. This charge resulted from incorrect insurance verification and cost estimation by the clinic, despite my repeated efforts to confirm coverage in advance. What made this situation more concerning was that before I had even contacted the clinic to seek clarification, I received a call from the billing department warning that I needed to respond within 48 hours or a late fee would be applied. Receiving a late-fee warning on a disputed charge—before any discussion or clarification—was both surprising and stressful. When I reached out to resolve this, communication was slow and inconsistent. After several follow-ups, I eventually spoke with the clinic manager. At the beginning of that conversation, I was told—and effectively accused of lying—that I had agreed to the treatment knowing it was not covered by insurance, which is incorrect. I then had to reiterate the entire sequence of events three times, after which the manager acknowledged that there may have been miscommunication on their end and offered to waive 50% of the additional charge. During the same discussion, I was also told that I had signed a waiver stating I would be responsible for any amount not covered by insurance—despite the fact that I had already paid the quoted out-of-pocket amount based on their own estimate and had been repeatedly reassured that the treatment was covered. To close the matter, I reluctantly agreed to pay 50% of the additional amount, even though I would never have consented to this treatment had the correct estimate been provided upfront. That said, I want to be fair: the dentist and dental assistants were excellent—kind, patient, and highly professional. The clinical care itself was very good. Unfortunately, the billing process, insurance handling, and post-treatment communication were extremely poor, and the way this issue was handled significantly impacted my trust.

Experiencia fantástica: Omg I was searching for a dentist that accepted my state insurance and I hunted around within 30 miles of Snoqualmie and had several really challenging interactions with not very good dentists. Being new to state insurance, I thought this is how it was going to be for me but then I found this dentist and I was honestly blown away. All of the staff are so genuine, welcoming and honestly just genuinely care. They even have massaging chairs?! I just fell in love with them and how much they care and I highly recommend them!

Experiencia negativa: I’d like to preface this by saying that I’ve never left a negative review before. However, my experience at Bellevue Family Dentistry today was so unprofessional and distasteful that it warranted a complaint. From start to finish I was met with disorganization, rudeness, and outright hostility from both the front desk lady and their supervisor. A few days before my appointment, I had called the front desk about possible payment plan options. She told me she would reach out to her director by then and asked that I’d show up 15 minutes early to get the payment plan sorted, which gave me the impression that it was an option. When I arrived on time, she was disorganized and hadn’t contacted the director yet about my question, abruptly telling me she’d “have to ask” first. I was quoted 1,2000 for my appointment, which was confusing since at my last appointment I asked for an itemized write up of what my next appointment would cost, I even took the liberty of taking a photo because of my initial experience with their inconsistent pricing. During that earlier visit (which I’d booked for sudden jaw pain), I was quoted $90 over the phone, then $140 at check-in, and finally charged $240 after the appointment, with no explanation of the sudden charge up to $100. I asked if they had a system for payment plans and the rates, which they both ignored and instead kept asking what I could pay monthly, or weekly. I asked how they would charge it and again, was given 0 context into how a payment plan would work. Obviously, this, along with the sudden change in cost screamed red flags and so I politely asked to cancel my appointment. What followed was truly shocking and confirmed for me that I was making the right choice by canceling. The director was incredibly rude, hostile, and unprofessional, attempting to pressure me over the phone stating that I “had” to sit in for my appointment today or else I’d be wasting the dentist's time. He showed zero remorse for the fact that he essentially wasted MY time and sounded confused when I brought up the initial charge of 240, clearing that it was an additional charge for an extra x-ray (which again, was not checked by me during my last appointment or clarified when I was checking out) promising to shave off $100 from my appointment today and grant me a 5% coupon for future appointments. I thanked him for the offer but again, was set on canceling. I’m genuinely confused on how, as a director, you have the nerve to attempt to pressure a customer into going into an appointment when they are clearly uncomfortable with your ominous payment plan. My concerns about inconsistent pricing were flat out dismissed, he continued to insist I sit in and even asked for my social security number before reluctantly allowing me to cancel…which I was then told would issue a cancellation fee of 100. I was given no warning that the clinic had a cancellation fee (although albeit most places do) and couldn’t find anything about a cancellation fee on their website when I first booked an appointment. To make matters worse, the front desk lady went on to lie on the phone in front of me, claiming she had told me to arrive at 11:35 (not 11:45) and that she’d warned me about uncertainty regarding a payment plan. She only backtracked when I corrected her right then. The entire exchange felt manipulative and disrespectful, neither attempting to apologize or take responsibility for the lack of professionalism or for wasting my time and money. There is so much more I could say about their abysmal conduct, but if I continue to type any further my fingers will fall off…in short, I wasted $100 today because the front desk staff failed to do their job, wasted my time, and treated me with complete disregard. I will not be returning to Bellevue Family Dentistry, and I strongly recommend others take their business elsewhere. This clinic lacks professionalism, transparency, and basic respect for patients. To the director and front desk staff: Fix your attitude, fix your communication, and stop trying to pressure or mislead patients.

The procedure was done well in less time then I had ever had before. This was done at the end of my day and I appreciated the gental way they did the work and felt relaxed all the way through. Experiencia positiva: Had multiple billing issues. Multiple times was assured something was fully covered by insurance only to get a bill. Got to the point where I said to put in my file to not ask about fluoride. Another time, I got a bill for a missed appointment for being sick. I didn't want to get others sick so I texted and got it rescheduled. A few days later, I got a bill for missed appointment. When I asked if I would get another charge if I cancelled my rescheduled appointment for 2 weeks later, they apologized and waived the missed appointment bill. In the most recent visit, I was told I had a cavity starting to form and it was recommended that I fill it. When asked about cost, I was assured that it was fully covered by insurance. If I was told how much it would cost up front, I definitely would not have done it. Imagine my surprise when I received a bill for almost $400. It's not the amount that I'm upset over, it's the multiple issues that have occurred up to this point. That being said, dentist related things alone, they're pretty good. There are always times of uncomfortableness when I come here but I just deal with it. In my experience, going to the dentist is never something I look forward to. I do brush my teeth twice daily and floss everyday. So I'd like to think I take pretty good care. But I've had much more uncomfortable experiences in the past with other dentists. So I don't know if it's just my luck that I've had bad dentists or bad dental experiences but I just find it weird that they have a 4.8 rating here on Google but my experience hasn't been anywhere close to that. Maybe I'm in the wrong and this is a learning experience for me. If so, I apologize. But I have premera blue cross and from what I understand, they're pretty good. So it's a bit surprising to me when I have other bills on top of the visits. Maybe it's something I need to reach out to premera about. I have posted all screenshots. The earliest one is from July of 2024. The most recent one was from last Wednesday on June 16th of 2025. Of which they still haven't replied and I'm posting this on June 24th, 2025. Edit: received a call from them. It was human error. Thought that even though, I had premera, it doesn't fully cover everything. Apparently, there's other premera plans that do cover everything. I have since changed my review.

Experiencia positiva: My family and I have been going to this dental clinic for 3 years. Positives: 1) Close to home. 2) They schedule as late as 4pm- convenient for us. 3) They are okay with using our own natural ingredients toothpaste. Negatives: 1) I get text messages that aren’t accurate like I need to make an appointment when I already scheduled a cleaning at the previous appt. 2) There was one time when my daughter and I was early for our appointment. We waited awhile and was told the patient before arrived late for their appointment which was the cause of the delay. But then another patient arrived for their appointment (which was scheduled after ours) and they were called before us. If I didn’t say anything, we would’ve sat and waited even longer than we did. I didn’t appreciate the way it was handled and to them that was okay to do in the first place. Overall, an okay clinic. I want to point out these positives and negatives so others can make there own decisions if it’s the right clinic for them.

Specifically, the dental hygienist, Anngen, is the best! She is thorough in her cleanings, takes her time to get to know her patients, and always welcomes an opportunity to educate patients on new technology, cleaning techniques, and goals for improving gum health. My husband had a recent appointment, and despite many previous experiences with bad dental practices, Anngen gladly helped him through the process and explained what she was doing and how he could improve his dental health. Experiencia fantástica: Dr Abhi Banda is professional, kind and skilled oral surgeon. I was avoiding my wisdom teeth surgery since 6 years. I had severe pain and dentist recommended to take all of them out. I was super anxious as it was my first surgery. I saw google reviews and called his office. Luckily, I got in on same day. This office need referral from dentist. I appreciate the front desk staff for accommodating and super helpful with process. After consulting Dr Banda I was confident to go with procedure. Experiencia positiva: I had a very disappointing experience at this dental clinic. The teeth cleaning was extremely perfunctory, lasting less than a minute and leaving no noticeable difference. Stains on my teeth were completely ignored and not removed. Additionally, the cavity check was utterly ineffective—several dark spots on my teeth were overlooked. As a result, I now have to schedule another appointment elsewhere for a proper cleaning and checkup.

Experiencia negativa: Dentist doing their job perfectly… but the the front desk is suck… I never ever received any invoices or receipts…. End up got huge amounts of insurance claim’s which you don’t expect it.

Experiencia fantástica: Terrific quality and attentiveness! I lost a crown during a weekend and Dr. Relan came in on her off day to help me! She was very sympathetic and got me taken care of quickly. Her staff is also kind and welcoming and excellent!

Experiencia fantástica: The doctor and crew are amazing there. Teeth cleaning was easy without any pain. For the second appointment,I had an issue with the all the reminding texts going to spams and missed an appointment as a result. They told initially that, for missing the appointment ,I'd be charged $200 since they reserved the room and staffs for me. Luckily the office manager worked with me to get the appointment rescheduled and waived $200 charge. Good service. They are eager to work with you if you have a problem with their service.

Experiencia fantástica: This is gonna be a long one - I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while now, because after 2 years I still am grateful for Dr. Relan saving my grandma. Let me explain: 1) Patient Over Profit I took my grandma to see Dr. Relan because I knew she put patients over profit. There were multiple times she could have pushed a treatment to make a profit off my oral problems but she always presented the best options for me - even if it was home care that wouldn’t lead to a procedure. That’s why I knew she would do the same for my grandma. 2) Proper Oral Examination Skills My grandma previously went to a physician for the lump in her upper palette and was told it was the palette muscle sagging. When Dr. Relan saw the growth she immediately let us (my mother and I) know that palettes don’t sag. She recommended a biopsy at a lab because it wasn’t even tissue sagging - it was a massive growth in her mouth that needed to be checked. This recommendation saved my grandma's life! Turns out my grandma had stage 3 oral cancer and we caught it in time before it started spreading everywhere else and was able to get it removed. If it wasn’t for Dr. Relan’s knowledge, I’m not sure what would have happened to my family. 3) Misc This review is long so the other notes are: - Staff are sweethearts (especially Amanda) - Dr Mariam is pretty great too, very relaxing yet professional (never met Dr. Rai so I can’t say anything about her) - Everybody manages to be professional even when it seems super super busy 10/10 Recommend
