Experiencia fantástica: My 15 year old daughter and my 2 year old son regularly see dr Derek. I recently had an issue with my 2 year old son he was sucking on his hands alot and crying making me think he was in pain. Dr.Dereck looked at him and it turns out a 2.5 he was still teething just back molars coming in. This place is really good they listen to any concerns u may have. Both of my kids go here and I would highly recommend this dental office.

Experiencia negativa: SHADY BILLING, issues with the front office, and poor communication. Very disappointing experiences with this dentist and office. We were seen at a different location for my son's cracked tooth. The dentist scheduled us for it to be possibly repaired, or worst case, pulled. We arrived on our scheduled date and had a new dentist that we'd never talked to before. That dentist immediately said he would pull it. We discussed with him that the first dentist said he thought it could be saved. This new dentist sort of waived off and said he would try, but I had a strong feeling he had already made up his mind. Then came billing. We paid everything and left. EIGHT MONTHS LATER the front office text to tell us we had an overdue balance. When I asked how that was possible, Meridian said she had no explanation on why it wasn't correctly billed or caught sooner. Then she got an attitude and said that she'd emailed me a bill previously and could resend it. I told her to resend. Guess what, she didn't have my email on file... it had never been sent. This is one of those times the office should have admitted fault and simply eaten the $200. Instead they pushed it. I absolutely would not recommend going here.

Experiencia fantástica: I am consistently impressed with the staff at this location. My 3 year old daughter has severe dentist anxiety and they work with her so well. When my daughter threw up they didn’t even bat an eye and helped clean her and myself up. They also gave her popsicle, to get the taste out of her mouth, which she couldn’t stop talking about. They make us feel welcomed and take care of all our needs. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, professional pediatric dentist office. Thank you!!

Experiencia fantástica: We were referred here by our family dentist after a previous pediatric dentist recommended extensive dental work and surgery for our five year old that we were not comfortable with. We brought Dr Derek our X-rays and he evaluated our son and gave us a more conservative approach to care as we requested including in house x rays free of charge so he could make the best course of action for our son. We split treatment into three parts and have seen all three dentists. All were EXCELLENT, including the assistants. They comforted my son, explained everything in a kind manner, and eased all our anxieties. We are now bringing all three of our children here and recommend this practice to all we know.

Experiencia negativa: Today, the girl Jaylin didn’t know how to do x ray on my kids teeth, it took so long, and looked like she was struggling how to input the piece into my child’s mouth, and then finally asked Chris for help, left Chris to do the job while she helped my other child to clean its teeth. ( I had 2 kids with me) There was no friendly talk and seemed like she didn’t wanted to be there. No smile I. Her face and she once in a while kept looking at me as if I was analyzing her, which I was. The only time she smiled was when the doctor came to check and finalize one of my Kids over all result. On the other hand , Chris was very friendly , and great customer service while making friendly talk to both of my kids. .highly recommend keeping Chris. This is the one down south of Colorado Springs .

They kept him calm, relaxed, and content. All children enjoy their cleanings and visits here. (Ages 3-16) We highly recommend Dr. Nick after our last experience. However, everyone at this practice is wonderful!! No complaints here

Experiencia positiva: My 21 month old son had his first dental appointment today. It went very well overall. The wait time wasn't too long to be brought back, the dental assistant was friendly and informative on what was going on, and the dentist was also friendly and gentle with my son. The dentist was also informative and wanted to be sure any concerns were addressed and answered. Overall I was happy with the visit and I would highly recommend this office! This is saying a lot being that I am a former dental assistant. My only complaint, to be completely honest, I have is when calling the office initially, it is a bit confusing. You don't get an answer from a person, but a robot or pre-recorded answering service. When you do try to make an appointment, no one answers the phone. The only way I got through is by leaving a message on their machine and got a call back to make an appointment. It turned me off initially, but I kept trying. Then decided to leave message after 3 tries. I would say, that probably should change because you could lose a lot of potential patients because of that. That is my suggestion.

Experiencia positiva: Due to his autism, he does not like anyone near his face, he freaks out but everyone here had patience with him. They were quick at checking his teeth, they calmed him down and played with him to help him feel safe. *update* I have been having issues with insurance. Everywhere else the insurance is used, there's been no problem but it's a constant issue for my youngest and both of my boys go here, with the same secondary insurance. Twice a year I am fighting for them to use his secondary insurance but for some reason, it's not popping up and I'm over reminding them and fighting them on this.

CS Pediatric Dentistry was a calm and welcoming environment after an injury. The assistant was kind and helpful. The doctor’s exam was thorough and his chair-side manor was great. Front desk ladies are amazing you feel like your family when you walk in they don't make you feel uncomfortable it's just amazing. My daughter had oral surgery yesterday an I was on pins an needles they kept me relaxed as well

Experiencia fantástica: Today was my 1yr olds first dental visit, we got an opening a day after I made the call to the office. Front end was very helpful with scheduling ,insurance and my questions. Erika was very patient with explaining the process and even had some pointers to help brush my toddlers teeth at home did (I mention she made my very clingy child feel comfortable, she even sat on her lap.) Dr.Nick was thorough explaining everything and put me and my husband at ease about dental eruptions. As a new mom there’s so much that goes wrong all the time and it is so nice when everything goes right, this visit was quick, professional and detailed. Thank you to all the staff that made this happen.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter fell at school today, cracked her two front adult teeth and they took her in immediately, and they fixed, her teeth, so beautifully amazing work better than i have EVER experienced, They made my girl feel comfortable, she temporarily had a crack and now feels beautiful again and that accidents happen, not to mention the views are gorgeous ! Love this place we will be back and not feel ashamed of coming to the dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: We have been seeing the dentists and staff at COS Pediatric Dentistry for over 10 yrs, and we have never had a bad experience. We still remember the free zoo night from years ago and how fun it was! Everyone here truly cares about their patients and referred us to the best orthodontists in town for braces (if needed) and always make my children feel comfortable, and that puts Mom at ease as well! I book 6 mos in advance to get all 3 kids at the exact same time for semi-annual checkups and that is magical!

Experiencia fantástica: We live about 3 hours away, so the doctors at the practice were very accommodating and talked to me a couple of times via phone after looking at our son's x-rays and where able to provide an estimate without us having to go in for a consultation. Our 3-year-old was going to require some extensive work involving multiple crowns, root canals, etc., which required full anesthesia. Lily and Rebekah at their office were amazing at communicating with us throughout the entire process. On the big day, we were greeted by Dr. Nick, and he did an amazing job communicating with us as well. He was able to save all of our son's teeth and did an excellent job on the crowns that he needed. He was able to take care of everything in that one appointment, and our son did great while recovering from everything. He seems to be very happy with his crowns and even said he wanted some more! I HIGHLY recommend the team at Colorado Springs Pediatric Dentistry!!

For her dentist appointment that just passed we had Caleb and he was More than amazing to my daughter. Experiencia fantástica: Our 2 year old daughter has had some major issues with her teeth. She was diagnosed with Anemia. She isn't allowed to have cows milk, so her replacement for that is Boost. The boost has so much sugar it was rotting her teeth. She had to get 6 crowns. The Dr. saved her teeth when we didn't know if they were going to have to get pulled. We are so happy with Pediatric Dentistry. And have been since our 12 year old started going there at 1 years old. They are amazing at what they do and making the kids comfortable is a huge step in their list. We will always recommend them.

My daughter hated going to the dentist and would fight and scream no matter what but within the past 2 years they have helped her get over her fear. She went in today to get her teeth pulled and was able to use the laughing gas with only a few tears before hand. The procedure was super fast and easy for her, she even came out saying she couldn’t feel anything that they were doing. We live everyone of the doctors, assistants, and hygienists we worked with. They are great with kids and just amazing at their jobs!

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love this dentist office I have taken my son twice and today was a hard day we had to have an immediate extraction my son is on the spectrum so he has a lot of sensory issues and they did absolutely great with him and allowed me and my husband to be there and comfor him it was a very pleasant experience. I have asked if my daughter can be seen here who is also on the spectrum and they are going to see her as well she is a little older and they agreed... Not enough could be said about how happy me and my husband are with this WHOLE ENTIRE practice your all wonderful from front desk to check out y'all rock.... Not only does this facility have an excellent lay out so my other little one could start her cleaning right away, but the staff went above and beyond to make sure our little guy had the best care. Dr. Derek and Andrew were so kind and patient and helped him get comfortable with each step of the process. We came in with him in tears and left with a happy and much more confident little guy! Experiencia fantástica: We love this place so much! The waiting room is spotless and beautifully designed, although we’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes for appointments. The whole staff is friendly, the dentists are patient and thorough as well. The main checkup area is full of bright, mountain facing windows (there are also private rooms.). Finally, your kid gets a token and makes the difficult decision on which toy to get from the vending machine. 10 out of 10!

They explain everything very well and they really make you feel comfortable and that they care, I learned things I didn't even know. The place is beautiful even with a nice mountain view, and they even have coffee if you want some, they call you in rightaway, I was very late but they still managed to see me. I truly recommend this place no matter how far you live in Springs it's worth driving there. They should change there name to Heavenly Pediatric Dentistry!!

They kept him very calm while taking X-rays and cleaning his teeth by being so sweet and kind and funny. And they were very good at redirecting him when he tried to get into things. We will be staying with CO Springs Pediatric Dentistry for both my children.

Experiencia negativa: I have been taking my kids here for some time and I've always felt comfortable and happy with the experience until today. I have a special needs kiddo which is why I chose this particular practice because they specialize in kiddos with special needs. Today the dentist tried to force my son to sit on the table to get a cleaning by grabbing him from behind and my son didn't handle it so well. I was in treated like a pariah from the rest of the staff because I did say something to the dentist. From my son's standpoint it's very scary to have someone in a mask that you don't recognize cuz you see them in frequently try to grab you from behind and of course you want a table so they can clean your mouth. We know these things with my son are not easy but we also thought that the staff and the dentist that had seen my son before knew this also. In the midst of all this I was hounded by the front office to fill out finish filling out my paperwork for my five kiddos. Every time I try to grab the clipboard from the receptionist so that I could fill it out she would take it and straighten it about three times I reach for it and she moved it out of my grass to straighten it. Needless to say I will be finding another dentist it's unfortunate that we had a great relationship with this dentist up until today

Dr. Jeff took the time to explain to myself and my son what he was going to do, Andrea, the dental hygienist, was so kind and sweet to my son and made me comfortable leaving him in their hands, and the front desk staff was so helpful, friendly, and welcoming. I highly recommend coming here and will be switching my sons’ primary dentist to them, even if it is 3 hours away from our home!

Experiencia fantástica: My 13yo son was a victim of Shaken Baby head injury at 24 mo of age. He is now in good physical health & progressing cognitively but TERRIFIED in a Dr’s office. Everyone in Dr Kahl’s office is kind & patient & Dr Kahl is always gentle, never tense or demanding, even when it takes three adults to keep my son in the dental chair! We appreciate such patience & are believing it will get better with time & continuity.

Experiencia fantástica: What a great experience we had at the Canon City location...the staff were fantastic and very friendly. They made my son feel at ease and attended to. They were patient and kind throughout the visit. They never not once not state what they were doing before they did it. It was just a wonderful staff and experience. The assistant that cleaned my son's teeth was by far one of the best I have ever seen. Dr. Chris was friendly and approachable to both myself and my son. I highly recommend this office and this dentist!! I just can't say enough great things about the whole experience. Everyone on the that staff that we came in contact with just rocked!

All of the staff were professional, patient and kind. While we were just there for a procedure, we’ve now decided to make them our full time pediatric dentists.

Experiencia fantástica: We moved in from Ohio this last year and tried out this dental clinic based on their reviews. I have two teenage boys and they have had good experiences the two times we have been there for checkups. My one son also had to have a fillong and no complaints about pain or anything. The hygienist and the dentist are both very nice and explain things well. The price is not astronomical and the wait time is never long.

Experiencia negativa: I brought children 12, 8, 6 for cleaning, x-rays. Dr. Guan has great bedside manner. We were assured that we could wait in the car until our appointment was called but when I called to check in was told we had to come in to prepay before they would check in that we were there. Once back in office no one greeted or introduced themselves until we met the doctor at the end. They assembled my children for X-rays but did not explain what they were doing my 8 year old asked me if we were done with appointment. Once in the back for cleaning none of the three hygienist’s told my children what they were doing before touching them (my 6 year old jumped twice in chair). At no point during cleanings did they ask how they were doing, it was uncomfortable. I was surprised there was no flossing or brushing education and at the end no one asked my children if THEY had questions. After spending an hour filling out on boarding paperwork (never finished) I had to fill out new check because I was under quoted $14 from check in.

Experiencia fantástica: My one-year-old daughter's very first dental appointment was a breeze! The staff was kind and gentle. Also, I appreciate that this dentist office requires masks to protect those who are immunocompromised.
