Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Lane and Associates made me a very happy person today, I was misinformed last week by a previous dentist about a procedure that I really didn’t need, and it was very costly. I discovered Lane and Associates were in network with my insurance, made an appointment and was seen immediately. Dr. Dali was so caring and thorough, she gave me a less costly procedure as an alternative that made sense, and her dental assistant, Destiny took an x-ray of my upper mouth that normally hurts pretty bad, but I did not feel a thing and she was done so fast. I could not believe it. I have not visited a dental office like Dr. Lane and Associates in years, thank you for putting your patients first. Claudette White❤️

Experiencia positiva: 1 star experience: My son was denied treatment to pressure my wife to pay 600 USD or follow up with her insurance. When I told them my son has insurance (who will cover full co-pay) in my name, they still denied him. I explained that my wife is booking with another competitor (hoping they would come to reason). They decided to send a debt collectors after her. Wife spoke with insurance and they said they already paid 200 a while ago. Wife is manually sending the rest to insurance to cover the rest. This is a hassle that should have been re-solved through insurance through back end. 4 star experience: I maxed out my 3,000 USD insurance limit with them in 3-4 main visits (good service - thank you). Living 7 months with a molar that's too costly to treat in the US. Wish I spread treatment over the past 2-3 years (via precaution checkups) or that insurance savings carry over when needed.

Experiencia fantástica: Kelly is amazing! She is friendly and thorough every time I have seen her over the years. I love that you don’t get a “new person” every time you have an appointment. I am in and out in about 45 minutes, and I have never had to wait longer than 5-10 minutes after checking in, to be seen. Tip for the Ridge Road location: try to schedule a time that isn’t too close to 5 o’clock traffic—you may have to wait a little while to exit onto the road to leave. Love the L&A team at Ridge Road!

She was so fantastic with him, was able to clean and floss his teeth and paint them with fluoride. She let him pick a prize out of the toy box it was so sweet with helping him with that and telling him what a great job he did. He now can't wait to go back to the dentist!

Experiencia negativa: i’ve been to several Lane locations over the past few years, and have been to this one several times. very small parking lot so make sure you arrive early. hygienists are great- not the most thorough but always friendly and are able to handle any issues i report. i’ve never had a long wait here. dentist are NOT friendly- last one didn’t even introduce himself and spent less than a minute looking at my teeth before saying i was good and leaving the room! I am now looking for a new dentist.

My most recent cleaning, I got the day of my appointment mixed up (I accidentally came in a day early) and they took me any way so I didn’t have to come back! I really appreciated it!

Experiencia fantástica: I am a new patient with Lane & Associates Family Dentistry. So far I have been impressed with everyone at the offices in Raleigh and at the NE Maynard Rd location in Cary. Dr. HSU and her assistant Kelly are phenomenal! They are both personable, asked questions and provided a full detail of procedures and costs on day one. This Q&A session was quite helpful in making my decisions as to when to set up follow on appointments. From the day one meeting, Dr. HSU and Kelly, provided me with all the information needed for a full picture of my dental situation and prognosis and then we discussed the treatment plan in depth. This team certainly reminds me of my longtime dentist and his team back in New York. Unfortunately he retired and sold the business. I chose this practice solely based on reading multiple reviews online since I did not know any dentist in NC. I am glad I made a good choice. If you are new to the area and looking for a new dental practice or want to change from your current dentist, Lane & Associates is the right choice!

Experiencia negativa: I did not have a positive experience at the Raleigh Ridge location. As a new patient, I visited for a general cleaning and was informed that I required extensive dental work, including five cavities that needed fillings and gum grafting. I sought out a second opinion from a different practice without mentioning the original diagnosis— they found no cavities, and no need for the suggested procedures. The entire process during my initial visit felt questionable, particularly as several additional treatments were recommended without clear explanations including the cost and coverage. I would hope this location reconsiders this approach to patient care.

I usually feel nervous at any doctors’ office, but the rooms all have windows to see outside which is very calming for some reason. The office is nicely designed & clean. The assistant & the dentist were very gentle & were very open to all of my questions. Definitely recommend this dentist!

Carrie greeted me and did my X-rays. As a dental professional myself, it is always refreshing to have a great back office experience with the team. Carrie took incredible care of me and was so nice to chat with. Dr Hsu was also lovely and did a very thorough exam, which I really appreciated. Experiencia negativa: I fell victim of this location’s shady business. I came for my cleaning which is covered by insurance, but they did some extra cleaning/check or something that wasn’t mentioned to me beforehand, so my insurance didn’t cover it and I had to pay for that appointment. I let that go, but they told me I needed 3 fillings. I haven’t had a cavity/filling in over 12 years, so I was pretty surprised by this, but I set up an appointment anyway. They quoted me $42 for 3 partial fillings. I knew this seemed low, so I had them run my insurance again. Still $42. So I trusted that and I went to my appointment and moved on. Well about 2 months ago, they called me saying I had an “outstanding” balance. I asked how much and the girl that called me said “$2”. I told her I’d pay it later as I was at work and also why are you calling me over $2…? Turns out it wasn’t $2. A month later, I get a TEXT MESSAGE w/ NO ITEMIZED RECEIPT saying I owe $774. I called and asked where this came from and the girl I talked to said they ran my insurance with an additional secondary insurance that I DO NOT HAVE “on accident”. How is that even possible??? They asked me IN PERSON if I had secondary insurance and I said NO. So I am STUCK with this bill that’s over 10x what they quoted me originally after I asked them to confirm the quote many times. This location is running insurance that patients don’t have, making patients trust them on this quote so that they sign forms saying they’ll be financially responsible if insurance doesn’t cover, and then sticking them with a bill that patients are completely blindsided by. I called and they took $200 off, which was the least they could do and agreed to let me make payments on it until the balance is gone, although they should have taken off the full $700 because of their “mistake” which doesn’t seem much of a mistake to me. Note to all patients getting a procedure done here: CHECK WITH INSURANCE BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING OR TRUSTING THESE PEOPLE. They’re SHADY and take NO ACCOUNTABILITY. In poor taste, they keep texting me payment reminders when I have been paying biweekly since they sent me the statement. $774 is a lot of money to be blindsided by and they also asked me to pay it in full after denying the shady business they do. Be very weary if you do decide to use this location as they aren’t transparent with their patients. Truly unbelievable.

Recently I needed a consult on a dental procedure and met Dr. Kim who was very personable and demonstrated experience and skill around the procedure I was considering. I'd also like to applaud the hygienist who assisted Dr. Kim with my procedures for the most of my visits, Nashia. She was was stellar! ! Experiencia negativa: Very displeased with this place. The check in people are not the most pleasant, the check in forms are online on a terrible platform that makes them difficult to complete. But most importantly I found this place to be dishonest. I have checked with my insurance and I was overcharged. I was given an xray that I didn't need according to Cigna, and paid $60 for this visit whereas I should have only paid $20. Now I have to go through the hassle of submitting a written complain to my insurance company to hopefully the recover the $40 I was tricked into spending. Also didn't really love the dentist's vibe - a little shamey and asked me if I take my son to a dentist. It's also expensive, I was given the breakdown of what insurance would cover for some cavity fillings and it was astronomical compared to the other dentist I am now using.
