Fantastic experience: First visit to Hart Family Dentistry was 10/8/2025. (My former dentist, Dr. Garrick Jones, is located in far East Iowa City, seemed stupid to travel that far when one is 81 and has a dentist within a few blocks. Dr. Jones recommended Hart.) First cleaning since February 2025 (surgery intervened). Had X-rays sent from Jones: learned they were from fall 2024. Natalie, the dental hygienist, made me comfortable both physically and psychologically. An excellent cleaning that, for the first time, included examination of how much gum tissue surrounded each tooth, where teeth were chipped, where enamel was thin or missing, etc. Plus many X-rays. Wore dark tinted goggles as protection against the light. Dr. Hart performed a comprehensive exam and remarked that my "bone" density in my mouth was like a 40 year old person. They advised a fluoride "varnish" which I had done. And recommended Clinpro F, a fluoride toothpaste (to be used before sleep). This was not an inexpensive visit so be forewarned. However the quality and quantity of services provided was well worth the cost. And I already feel like Hart will be another "family" like the Clemmons-Jones practice was for more than 25 years.

Fantastic experience: Went in as an emergency with terrible pain after being seen by a chain dentist that wanted me to wait a week to be seen by specialist. Hart got me in that morning and was able to an extraction saving me days of pain and a likely abscess. Amazing staff, incredible doctors and excellent facilities. McKenna and Natalie each did their job with expertise and a genuine positive regard for my well being. I also want to mention the delightfully gentle sense of humor of the staff that I met. Really felt welcome. The location on hwy 6 is super convenient even if you don't live in Tiifin. Lots of parking and accessible building. Pleasantly appointed interior spaces as well. The TV was on but quiet and unobtrusive. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hart is one of the best dentist ever! We had gone to 3 different dentists until we found Dr. Hart where my kids absolutely love going to. We have been going to Dr. Hart Dentistry for over 10 years now. My son gets in the chair and puts his sunglasses on and goes to sleep! He is so comfortable going to the dentist now. Whenever we have had questions or an emergency Dr. Hart calls us right back even on the weekends. Between Dr. Hart and Dr. Croco (Orthodontist) they have been very successful together in making my husband's mouth 110% better instead of just pulling all of his teeth and going with dentures. We Love Dr. Hart's Office and we know you will too!
