Fantastic experience: I have been dentist hopping for the last 3 months until I found Lake City Dental. The staff is amazing they are wonderful. Dr. Roman took his time to discuss my dental issue in order to make a decision. I felt super comfortable, he was great can't forget the dental hygienic Aniel, he did an amazing cleaning. I have not had my teeth cleaned so thoroughly in years. If you live in Lake City or Live Oak and are looking for a dentist. I highly recommend this dental office.

Fantastic experience: Dr Roman and all his staff are great! You walk in and feel comfortable being there. Everyone is very friendly. We have been going to Dr Roman for a few years. I will not be changing dentist. I have never had any pain with any procedure. They are all so caring.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Lake City Dental are kind, honest and thoughtful. Dr. Roman explains each procedure with detail and provides available options. I've never experienced any pain or been uncomfortable during my visits. The office is very comfortable, and I have never had to wait over 10 minutes to be seen. I will never, ever seek out another dental practice.

Negative experience: Disappointed. I really thought I found a dentist I could count on. Sharp shooting pain since Thursday. Was told I could come in after the holiday weekend on Monday at 8am. Sunday night I received a text at 8:10 pm, confirming my appointment. On my way to my appointment, in so much pain, Monday morning and 15 minutes before scheduled time, I got a call cancelling. Rescheduled for Tuesday, then got another call cancelling Tuesday and scheduling for Wednesday. Forget it, never going back. I cannot wait any longer and need help today.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very kind and professional. The dentist was not rushed and took his time to explain his findings, showed me pictures, and made me feel comfortable. The hygienist was also patient and careful. The office is clean and well-kept. I would definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: Everyone at Dr. Roman’s office is so kind and accommodating. The dental hygienist is super nice and puts me at ease. I have always hated dentists, but I’ve actually gotten comfortable enough here that I don’t dislike going(to the extent one can enjoy the dentist)

Positive experience: Everyone in this office is very professional and kind. I have no complaints against the integrity of the staff. Everyone there seems to be passionate about what they do. However, I think this last visit was a loss of my time and money. I think the patient should be able to have a molar tooth removed if they want to, even if there is nothing wrong with the tooth. Additionally, I *want* to give my money to this establishment instead of another office as I trust everyone in this office. I already have been told I have overcrowding. The wisdom tooth causing pressure against my molar is the real issue. However, if the back molar was extracted, then the wisdom tooth would not necessarily have to be removed if there is nothing for it to press against. I don’t know everything, of course, but I thought it would be less expensive to have that molar tooth extracted so I would not have to get invasive surgery out in Gainesville. I truly wish I could get a refund for this visit because my request was rather reasonable, but it was denied. It costs much more to have an oral surgeon involved, and I do not have insurance. It isn’t as though I wanted my molar removed for looks, but for practicality and as a cost-efficient alternative. I am rather disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Lake city dental was quit the experience! I’m super sensitive when it comes to dental and Dr Roman had the magic touch. Made me feel confident with his recommendations and procedures. My son and I received cleanings from Aniel the dental hygienist, he was so precise when working. Fantastic experience: I was so impressed with Lake City Dental. They are compassionate,helpful and friendly. Jessica the office manager has done a great job with running the office. Sabrina greats you with a smile. She is happy to help with any questions. Nikki and Justice are Dr Roman’s assistant they are amazing as well. Dr Roman is very compassionate and listens to your concerns and needs. He does a thorough examination of your mouth. Lymph nodes and screens for oral cancer. He will go over your treatment plan. He explains everything. I would give them 10 stars. I just can’t say enough good things about Lake City Dental. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: We had the best dentist in Florida Dr. Andrew Roman DDS clean a quadraplegic veteran's teeth today-- not at VA Lake City Dental Clinic because we are not 100% Service Connected requirement (is the only veteran they can take even though VA.gov has a Dental Eligibility page and many other veterans are eligible 6 different kinds of veterans) besides 100 % Service Connected-- but I digress! ) Anyway we got turned away from Aspen Dental too just because of quadraplegia/portable home ventilator...and even the UF dental faculty appointment schedulers won't let a quadraplegic patient because they are following their protocol too. Must be all across Florida changed to not see quadraplegics--except Lake City Dental is welcoming and thinks 'why descriminate against a quadraplegic with a portable ventilator-- his teeth aren't quadraplegic'. ..

Fantastic experience: I gotta say i was very surprised about Lake City Dentist . They all took time with me . I'm a Lary and talk with an EL . And Wow i was really shocked when Andrew told that he would make my dentures . I have been wanting them since 2018 . But there was a lot going on and I was very nervous seeing a dentist . They scared me when i was younger and then i had to through getting all my teeth pulled after my cancer surgery . We really enjoyed our visit and i really can't wait until i get my new teeth .

Fantastic experience: I had just moved here and needed a tooth removed,the recipitonst got me an appointment fast.When I showed up from the reciptionist ,the dental assistant ,and Dr Roman hisself were fantastic! Dr Roman took his time with me and explained everything to me ,neither him or his assisyant got upset with me when it took alittle longer to extract my tooth. He collaborated closely with our orthodontist and consulted a periodontist, clearly outlining all available options and explaining each in detail, which was invaluable given the complexity of my son's case. I picked Lake City Dental because of all their great reviews and they were able to get me in that same day, which I really appreciated! From the moment I walked in I knew I picked the right place! The staff is very friendly, and accommodating. The office is very clean, and a very pleasant environment. Dr Roman is very professional, friendly, & very understanding to all your dental needs. Within minutes I felt so relaxed & comfortable there. During my exam he was very gentle, compassionate, & very thorough. Fantastic experience: What a fantastic experience. I had an older crown fall off and they were able to offer next-day, emergency service eventhough I was a new patient. Right from walking in the door, I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff and their level of professionalism. Dr. Roman put me at ease as he walked me through the process, letting me know what he was doing next. He then took the time to explain what else he saw with my teeth and what he recommends. Fantastic experience: I came to Lake City Dental with no insurance, for a tooth extraction, I was really anticipating a high price and pain. They provided a good price for me with no insurance for the extraction. I felt nothing the whole process, it was a large tooth too with three roots!! DMD Andrew Roman and his assistant Neisa got that tooth out like it was nothing, easy like Sunday morning. No pain! I was really expecting to feel something, and I felt nothing!!! I highly recommend coming to Lake City Dental for any and all of your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I was suffering from an infection and intense pain. Without exception I was seen immediately without appointment. I was treated with utmost respect. From the Doctor to the receptionist, you will find any one more sincere. By the way, my issue was resolved immediately,

Negative experience: The dentist and hygienic staff seem to know what they are doing. BUT, don’t pay them upfront if you have a dental plan. The billing department is the worst. I have been listening to their stories of 1. wrong mailing address for my dental plan 2. The manager is out but will call me, she never does 3. They blame the insurer, but other claims were completed. 4. They give me a number to call and it goes into voice mail, but no one calls back. 5. They don’t return calls to my insurer. 6. I am wondering if someone is taking funds and covering it up. 7. I have been trying to get my two payments of which one is from 2023. 8. The insurer has wired the funds directly to the dentist. Don’t go to this dentist!!! UPDATE: Typical Lake City Dental response, they offer no apology for not returning calls and try to blame the carrier. Lake City Dental received first deposit dated 5/3/23. I have been trying to get this refund for over a year. The second deposit was paid to Lake City Dental on 7/3/24. Both refund direct deposits were sent to Lake City Dental within 30 days of claim. I have been contacting Lake City Dental for over a year. They only now reached out to Aetna and decided to take action was because I advised them I was giving them a bad google review and filing a complaint with the BBB. If Lake City dental had a good billing department, they would not have checks issued to themselves and issue the checks to the customer. I am not displeased with their policy, I am displeased with their careless errors and disrespect of customer concerns. Yesterday was the first day I received a call from Lake City Dental. As you can see in their reply, they chose to blame others for their errors, as they tried to blame Aetna. Shame on you Lake City Dental. Perhaps Lake City Dental's statement should be, "we don't care about patients, just their money".

I had to get my dental work during the summer, so my kids had to come along. These amazing staff put cartoons on for my kids so they wouldn't be bored. Fantastic experience: Broke a Veneer I had put on as s kid nearly 45 years ago on a Sunday. Called Monday and got an appt that afternoon. Went back Tuesday and he put on a temporary. Went back 2 weeks later for the permanent veneers. Excellent service. I told Dr Roman that I would write him a good review. From the looks of it he does not need it. 5 Star review from over 200 posted reviews. He must be doing something right!!!

Fantastic experience: I’m working out of state and staying in Lake City. I had a filling fall out 600 miles away from my dentist. After seeing the stellar reviews online I called Lake City Dental and they were able to see me the next day! Dr. Roman diagnosed that a filling would no longer work, and repaired and crowned my tooth the same day to get me by until my permanent came in. The staff is exceptionally nice and caring, the facility is clean and organized, and Dr. Roman is professional and thorough. I didn’t have to hesitate when picking them to handle all of my dental care while I’m working down here and will be continuing to do so!

Fantastic experience: So I have had horrible tooth pain for months..and bc I have such bad teeth I have been putting off going to the dentist for way to long.i couldn't take the pain anymore but let's just say I was terrified and embarrassed to even make an appointment so see what my options were. I can't say enough good things about the staff..and the dentist who treated me. Dr. Roman.. not only did they treat me respectfully but they really worked with me thru every detail , even explaining things again to my husband when coming in for the the actually extractions. There are so many more things that happened here that made me feel so differently about dentist and so very comfortable could go on and on and on. . Even with 11 teeth being removed . Dr Roman was very kind and patient with me thru the whole entire process. As well as every member of his staff. Including the phone call I received the morning after asking how I handled the night before. You all are amazing and I can't thank you enough. And will be recommending you to anyone and everyone looking for a great dentist. Thank you lake city dental !! You are all very amazing people I wish I remember every person I dealt with bc I'd love to mention them as well. But it's was everyone from Receptionist to assistants..to the dentist. Your the best!!I can't thank you enough for helping me thru this process that absolutely sucks. But worth it! .

Fantastic experience: Amazing Dentistry! We were traveling along I-75 to go see family for Christmas…. My husband kept saying his tooth was hurting and it wasn’t good. We called Lake City Dental and they agreed to take an emergency patient on short notice. Such great receptionists; they got all our insurance needs completed and Dr Roman took great care of my husband and probably prevented a much bigger issue had he waited. Beautiful office made my wait comfortable and we were back on the way to see our grands in a no time. Thank you all very much!!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had something caught in her gum and when she removed it there was a painful hole...I called her dentist, and my dentist, but nobody could fit her in for an emergency vist. We call lake city dental and they got her in right away (within 30 mins). The dentist figured out the issue and set up an appt for a good cleaning. I was so impressed switched to them as my new dentist too. They do all kinds of cosmetic dentisttry too which is a big plus.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best experience hands down !! The most thorough exam I've ever had. The exam included photo's, X-rays and cancer screening to include lips, tongue and cheeks. This is the cutest and clean office with convenient parking and location. The office staff is very friendly and professional which goes a long way these days. God Bless!

Fantastic experience: In case you don't want to read the whole review, wanted to start out by saying that after the dentist I had been going to for awhile in Lake City retired, I tried a few different offices to find something similar to that practice but kept striking out. The best compliment I can give Lake City Dental is that I definitely found an office and dentist that I will be returning to for my dental care. Now for the details! I went to Lake City Dental for a second opinion after visiting a newer dental practice that was built/started in Lake City not too long ago. My experience at this other practice was not good and my gut told me to try elsewhere. I chose Lake City Dental because of how many great Google reviews the office and staff had. The first office I went to said I had two options following a broken filling, which were to get a root canal and crown, or an extraction. Dr. Roman was able to repair the tooth with a standard filling, so I can't even begin to say how happy I am that I decided against the first office and went with Dr. Roman and Lake City Dental. The entire staff is wonderful, office is nice and clean, and my appointments there have been super-organized. I appreciate how Dr. Roman typed out and went over a care plan with me for other issues that need to be addressed in the months ahead, including some cosmetic issues. Dr. Roman definitely did not press on the cosmetic issues, so I never felt like I was being sold on extra work, which is something I have noticed at other practices. I look forward to continuing my care here and can't say enough positive things about Lake City Dental, Dr. Roman, and all of the staff! I hope this review helps you if you are looking for a dentist.

Fantastic experience: So today I went for my first visit as I’m normally anxious, apprehensive, and nervous as I never received care there and I just didn’t want to feel embarrassed or ashamed…. As soon as I open front door the atmosphere was very welcoming and a great sense of calmness… not to mention inviting and decent dental office not like others where you feel like everyone’s starring and they may forget about you or push you to the side…once I got to the back I felt included and I felt like Dr.Roman and Nikki made me feel more than a patient as I was a new family member… even done things I never received at other dental offices so that won me over and they went into detail about the care plan and proper treatment that I’ll need and continually included my input thoughts concerns throughout entire process. I am grateful and thankful I was led to them because now I would continue to come here more often so again thank you all that made my experience enjoyable .
