Fantastic experience: So grateful for the entire staff there today. I was a walk in, and they were very helpful, understanding and accommodating. Strongly recommend. They fixed 2 issues for me and I already feel much better. I joined the annual care option and signing up my husband next week. He will be heading there soon. Thank You -Frances Smith

Fantastic experience: I told them the issue i had. I was a walk in and spent 3 hrs there. Have to have wisdom teeth surgery at jacksonville fl. Very expensive.

Negative experience: The guy told me I could die in my sleep if I didn't get 3 teeth pulled, quoted me Just under $9,000 To get two extractions and new implants. I went and got a second opinion elsewhere and turns out I only needed three fillings. Just warning if your diagnosis is extreme, Maybe get a second opinion.

Negative experience: They did unnecessary work on my teeth, broke teeth that didn’t need repair before I went, charged me for future work that I chose not to have done by them.. totally messing up my credit for late payments I do not owe, that. Man will never have his hands in my mouth again, do NOT fall for their fast talking sign here. I never imagined that I would be charged for work I will not have done. Terrible service, had to have emergency surgery while at a funeral out of town to undo work “he fixed that I didn’t ask for” 5 months later, still haven’t credited my account and making my crdit worse every month.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was delightful friendly smiling faces. Angie the coordinator was efficient and thorough as well as May. Virginia helped me put my jewelry back on. May explained everything in detail what needs to be done to my teeth . Very professional!

Negative experience: Staff not professional, did not answer my questions, had to over an hour to be told come back. Do not take walk ins. No same day service. 0/10 do not recommend

Fantastic experience: The staff is wonderful however I could not afford what needed to be done. The office mngr went above and beyond to try to help lower the cost. On a fixed income ya can't afford what Ins.doesnt cover. I was a little concerned however that the dentist immediately wanted to extract teeth where there was infection and I feel the infection should be cleared up first to prevent it from spreading . Other than my concern I would recommend Amazing smiles.very clean facility friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: I just wanna say, that i am really thankful to my dentists. I went there with a bad breath and a fractured tooth, and just one day they fixed it perfectly!!! I've been waiting for somebody who can fix this for 2 years! But they are the only one who fixed my smiles. 2 years of being insecure from my past dentis and no solutions, made me wait every 3 months and keep charging me. So i switched to these wonderful people!!! And These dentist made my insecurities gone for just a few hours. The place is really clean as well!!! Can't wait for my next appoinment

Fantastic experience: On Friday, May 29, I had an appointment for an extraction in Gainesville (at a different practice). After 11 carpules of local anesthetic, a ton of pain and a panic attack, I left there with an infected tooth and my mouth swollen completely shut. I called Amazing Smiles, literally in tears, and they were able to see me urgently just a few hours after I left the dentist in Gainesville. When I showed up, I was still frantic, in an epic amount of discomfort and literally crying. Dr. Shaik and his assistant Maylin were so aware of my unsettled state, and they gently looked at the tooth. Dr. Shaik assured me he could extract the tooth. I'll be honest - I really felt untrusting and scared because of the pain the dentist in Gainesville caused me. But, I needed to get this tooth figured out. They were very transparent with pricing and had financing options available, so I hesitantly scheduled an appointment for June 2 (yesterday). Yesterday, I went in already crying from my anxiety. I was dreading this experience in ways I can't even describe. I had opted for nitrous oxide because of my anxiety, but when they began administering it, I felt panicked from having something on my nose. They immediately stopped the nitrous (safely after flushing with oxygen), no questions asked. Dr. Shaik told me that he would make sure I didn't feel any pain, and he did exactly that. He was the first dentist who was able to actually numb my mouth effectively. Once I was numb, I heard two little cracks (not even loud cracks) and my tooth was out. I literally didn't feel anything at all outside of some brief, painless movement that was my tooth being extracted. Maylin was with me the entire time, and when she had to step out, Kelly came in and sat with me. I was truly surprised and so comforted by the staff here. Today is the day after my extraction and Dr. Shaik did an amazing job with a bone graft, a collagen plug and stitches. I'm experiencing no pain and only mild discomfort off and on (i havent taken any pain meds in about 12 hours). If you are someone who has had a traumatic experience at the dentist, I highly suggest Dr. Shaik. He promised me that the procedure would not hurt, and he followed through. I am so thankful!!

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff. Listened to what I wanted. Suggested but didn't try to oversell me more services.

Negative experience: Michelle did my periodontal exam first. Then had to wait for the Dr to come in to examine my teeth. After he left then I had to wait some more for the insurance girl to come talk about my estimate which was very extremely expensive. Every thing was chaotic, took two hours and I left without having my teeth cleaned and a headache to boot. I have appointment May 29 @ 12:00. I have always had great cleanings with Michelle in the Jasper office. My experience with the Lake City office in the past several times was chaotic and loud. I’m having a hard time deciding if I’ll keep my next appointment.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Amazing Smiles Dental in Lake City! I recently moved to the area and have been seeing Dr. Shaik and his competent team for several months. I have been undergoing extensive dental work including a deep cleaning, extractions, bone grafts and finally ready for implants or so I thought. Some of the bone grafts didnt take and we had to switch gears. Dr. Shaik and Angie the office manager went above and beyond explaining the entire treatment plan and gave me several different options to choose from. Angie took the time to break down pricing, what everything included, payment options, and every little detail to make sure I could continue with the best plan and made sure it was as affordable as possible. The dental hygientist Michelle is so sweet and gentle and the ladies at the front desk are always pleasant to deal with. So glad I found Amazing Smiles so I can have an amazing smile again!

My husband recently had to go in for extensive dental work including a root canal, crowns, and fillings, and the entire experience was honestly incredible from start to finish. Kelly, the office manager, went above and beyond explaining the entire treatment plan. She took the time to break down pricing, what everything included, payment options, and every little detail so we felt completely informed and comfortable before anything even started. My husband was there for almost 7 hours because of how much work needed to be done, and not once did he complain about the experience. On the drive home he kept talking about how amazing Dr. Shaik was. He said he was incredibly thorough, professional, patient, and truly cared about doing everything right. He also could not say enough good things about Angenell, the dental assistant, who was just as kind, attentive, and professional throughout the entire process. Fantastic experience: I had an abcess tooth, they had me in within 24 hours. They were all super kind and patient, very informative. My dentist was excellent, he made sure I was 100%pain free before extracting my tooth and I finally was pain free. He explained everything and the hygienist was very informative on aftercare. They offered payment plans as well which was very helpful! Love them here and have found my new dentist =) thanks you guys!

Fantastic experience: I am from another state visiting family and my crown fell off. I checked google and Amazing Smiles had the best reviews so I called them. They were able to see me the next morning. I am very impressed with the up to date tech that they use, the kindness of their staff, and the professionalism and skill of Dr Shek. They even called me the next day to see how I was doing. I would highly recommend this dentist and am very happy.

Negative experience: Changing my rating. Place is clean. Wife and I went in for a cleaning and got told they won't do it till we go some place else for deep root cleaning that's 8k for the 2 of us. Called to speak to dentist about treatment and just getting the standard treatment and got a attitude from reception. Was told the dentist would cb and never did. My teeth feel fine and the deep root cleaning was unnecessary. The dentist even seemed unsure if it was needed at the time of the visit.

Fantastic experience: I have always been scared of the dentist. From the moment I stepped in the door I felt completely comfortable. Dr. Shaik and his staff are amazing people. They make you feel welcome and give you your confidence back. They listen to your needs and wants. Dr. Shaik was very patient while I kept asking questions. He never one time made me feel rushed and he answered every question I had. His staff are all so sweet and it makes you feel like you have known them your entire life. I’m so thankful that I found their office and chose to go to them for my dental work. I had teeth removed and some pretty deep roots and I didn’t have any bruising and minimal swelling. They are amazing people and their technology is top notch. You won’t be disappointed when you walk in those doors. Their prices are very reasonable. I’m so glad I have overcame my fear of the dentist. I have a lifelong dentist now. Thank you all for being loving and kind and patient. Hands down 10/10

Fantastic experience: I had to get a tooth removed and went to this location. I had Dr. Masterson and Dental assistant, Sadarius Joseph working on me. Sadarius was VERY VERY thorough with explaining what and how the procedure was going to go, every step. He was extremely caring and 100 percent made sure you was comfortable during the procedure. He done an amazing job taking care of me. Dr. Masterson was phenomenal!! I explained some concerns I had beforehand and she was very attentive to my needs. She made the whole process very comfortable and checked on me the whole time to make sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Super fast and amazing she was. Dr Masterson and Sadarius made an exceptional team together. Thank you both for taking care of me and making sure I was okay and comfortable during the whole procedure!!

Fantastic experience: Amazing! Even with my nervousness, the staff went above and beyond my expectations! They were as gentle as possible and kind. Another dentist wasn't skilled enough to remove 2 teeth for me and had referred me for oral surgery. The oral surgeon couldn't schedulee until Dec 30th. BUT, Dr Shaik was so amazing. He numbed the area well, extracted the teeth, did a bone graph and then inserted an implant. Amazing experience! I will go back. I trust this Dr and his assistant with my mouth.

He actually sat down to discuss the process including answering my questions about dental issues not within the scope of the current appointment. Negative experience: The only good thing I can say is they took my son in quickly. He has a severe needle phobia and they said they understood and would help him. They didn’t. He got upset when they came at him with the needle and stopped the procedure. He had already paid a portion of the money down and would be billed for the rest. They said he would get his money back in 7-10 business days but he didn’t and they took more money from his account the next month and keep promising to take care of it. My son needs his money back.

Fantastic experience: Let me start by saying I dont like going to the dentist office. I have been to quite a few in the area and the office staff at Amazing Smiles in Lake City are great! Very friendly, compassionate and always willing to help. It’s a nice feeling to walk into an office and feel safe and welcomed. They also do a good job with making sure you are comfortable and the fillings, crowns, or cleaning is to your liking. If something is off, they will keep working to fix it until you are satisfied. I highly recommend them for your dentist appts.

Fantastic experience: We had our first visit with a dentist after our long-time provider retired. It was a fairly random choice, for a problem we needed looked at right away. We ended up both (spouses) getting comprehensive examinations, and detailed treatment plans. We were both impressed with the thorough, friendly, sympathetic service we received from the whole team. It was easy to make this our choice for future care.

Fantastic experience: I needed to have all my teeth pulled and would need dentures. When that was done I was provided with some temporary dentures until my gums healed. The temporary dentures were creating sore spots that made eating painful. Two days ago I returned for a check up and told the dentist were they were hurting. He made some adjustments that made a world of difference and that same day my wife and went to Roadhouse and I had a salad, baked sweet potato and a ribeye and I was able to eat with no pain. He did a great job alleviate the pain of chewing. I can’t express in words the relief it gave me. Thanks to Amazing Smiles.

Negative experience: This is the most expensive Dentist in Lake City. I went for a toothache. I was advised they would have to pull and put an implant in (Dentist said a crown could not be done), needed a 4 Quadrant cleaning, and two fillings. They priced me at $966 for just TWO fillings with my insurance. The entire treatment plan is over $7000 out of pocket. They are an im network provider for my insurance. I left and made an appointment at another dental office in town. I have a treatment plan of 2,300 with them to have every thing done with $748 out of pocket. They also told me they absolutely can crown the problem toothe.

Yes, of course they were competent, but they were also nurturing, and they put me at ease. Being social Heros is so important !!

Fantastic experience: I never was nervous of the Dentist until I watched that stupid Movie "The Dentist." To make it even worst, I saw the sequel and became petrified of going to the Dentist. lol I recently needed two teeth pulled that had crumbled to the gums. You can't imagined my fears and anxieties. There was no way around it! It was imperative to see a Dentist. I just relocated to the area and didn't know anyone. However, I saw Dr. Shaik at Amazing Smiles in Lake City, Fl. I can honestly say I went in with a lot of tension but Dr. Shaik made it the most pleasurable experience I had ever had seeing a Dentist. I had a tooth from both sides of my jaw that needed to be extracted. I immediately began to relax after not even feeling him numb my gums. He was so gentle and he took his time I didn't realize he started yet! Before I knew it both teeth were extracted and I was in shock when he said he was done! I feel so lucky to have found him and will establish him only to be my new Dentist! I no longer have a fear of getting the work I need done! Thank you Dr. Shaik. Fantastic experience: My husband was needing some emergency dental work , I called several places everyone told me they couldn't get to him . Then I called AMAZING SMILES , They got him in and took care of his needs same day and just a couple hours ! The staff is Amazing! The Dentist/ Surgeon (Dr Williams) is THE BEST !! So Friendly ,professional, and genuinely care about your health ! Highly recommend!!!! Negative experience: Don't go near this place the people are nice .But my teeth have never fit and i paid my contract off to keep it off my credit and they still charged me for a visit only to tell. Me there's nothing we can do other than me buying a new set well would you do that or would you go to another provider. That is the question

Fantastic experience: They took me in the same day I called, as I was crying from a toothache due to a cavity. They quickly accommodated me and performed the extraction. I left with a smile and felt so relieved afterward. The customer service was outstanding, starting from my first phone call to the care I received when I arrived. Although there was a wait, I understood that they were busy, and despite that, I was in and out in just a few hours. I finally got rid of the painful tooth that had been bothering me for weeks. Negative experience: Worst dentist. Please dont go to this guy, he is a crook. They charge you 3x as much as anyone else, and just the 'exam'...which is the dr sticking his fingers in your mouth for literally 3 seconds..not even sitting down, will cost you 149. No joke. I had a small chip in my front tooth and didnt need any xray, which they took 1 pic of it. Then the dr. Leaves the room and sends the girls in with a bill for $1080.00! I had this same work done in south fla last year for $215. No way..I will not be scammed by this guy. Save yourself the trouble and frustration.

Negative experience: They were nice and informative initially but Unfortunately, I did not have the rest of the work done their as the price changed from what was quoted originally, would definitely look else where for dental care, as they also missed areas that needed filling despite the original quote including them

Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience with dr Shaik for regular dental work he was very kind and professional as well as patient during follow up appointments. He made me feel at ease with his patient mannerisms and behavior the staff are all very personable and remember each patient. Will be continuing to use him as my regular provider very thankful to found a knowledgeable and trustworthy dentist. Additionally I had a very pleasant experience with Dr Williams and his staff during my implant procedure. Dr Williams was very personable and professional took the time to answer any of my follow up questions. The Staff were all very kind made me feel at ease prior to the procedure very glad I chose them to do my implant after putting it off for so long.

Fantastic experience: The staff is so friendly and really made me comfortable. I went in so much pain and the staff assured me I would be ok and went over all of my options where I could clearly understand. The Assistant Breanna was so friendly and helpful. Negative experience: Had a few procedures done while I was under Anesthesia I didn’t realize that they gave me a temporary crown on my front tooth. After 2 years it came out! I’ve been going to the College at UF ever since. But when my crown came out I went back to them to give me a flipper, since they drilled my tooth so far down it’s impossible to put on another crown and it actually stay, I plan on getting an implant done at the college. At my appt at Amazing Smiles they tell me I owe them $250, and that it needed to be paid, also it would be up to the doctor whether I get a flipper or not. I will never go back to this place again, I paid them $4k and I’d expect them to give me something temporary right away, since it was their work. But no, I need to pay more money for new X-rays which I had done 2 weeks ago at the college, but they want their own! Sorry not sorry, not playing into this money game with them when they’ve permanently ruined any chance of me ever being able to get a permanent crown on my tooth.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this dentist office! Not only have I been here a few times but my husband has too (he needed emergency dental help). He and I both have traumas from previous dentists from childhood and some adulthood experiences. Now I have taken my son here too. The amount of care, kindness, and understanding is astonishing and greatly appreciated! They are very accommodating. Considering how expensive dental visits are, I feel personally they are pretty reasonable especially when you add the care you get with the dental work. I refuse to try to go anywhere else.

Negative experience: Had a small filling in need to be replaced on the front tooth as it fell after 16 years. It did not require a crown or s veneer or anything expensive. They start with a mandatory $149 for an X-Ray for one tooth which is not required because there is no tooth decay and is in plain sight. They left me with the impression that they will just replace the filling as asked. Then the dentist disappears and sent the receptionist to collect $2200 for a crown. Beware of the scam! Got the filling done in Gainesville for a fraction of the price, no crown required and I am reporting this dentist to the College of Dentistry for ethical review.

Fantastic experience: WORTH EVERY PENNY!! You won't find a better Dentist. ALL THE STAFF are top notch and polite!!! Very honest and trustworthy. They have plans for patients with no insurance or you can pay out of pocket or if you have insurance and they accept it.. Quick and fast depending upon your situation but they're up for the challenge for sure!!! Stayed after hours and took care of me after I just had left a horrible dentist office. Did everything they could and got the job done correctly and basically came to my rescue!!!! If you have bad anxiety, or you're nervous or scared, COME TO THIS Dental office and they'll take EXTREMELY good care of you. Very patient and kind. You're their top priority!! There's no pick and choose, they have a good heart for EVERYONE they can serve!! Definitely will be my choice and primary from now on. No doubt about that!!!
