Fantastic experience: Cannot say enough great things about this dental office. So kind and so professional. They worked my daughter in their busy schedule after she cracked her tooth. They go above and beyond to help. The dentist was gentle and everything was immaculate. Very reasonable prices.

Fantastic experience: Been here a few times to have some work done. Dr. Duncan is amazing - very thorough, straightforward, and respectful. Ms. Cherlyn, Ms. Abi, and the ladies at the front desk are great, as well! Everyone is welcoming and has a great attitude. They do great work and are very reasonable with you throughout the process - offering breaks if you begin feeling pain and checking on patients regularly. They may be busy, and it is hard to get a cleaning scheduled within a reasonable time-frame, but rightfully so. Best I have been to in the area. However, if you are in pain and need emergency work done, they will get you in quickly and take care of all of your pain points expeditiously. Excellent office, no complaints. Fair pricing, knowledgeable about insurance. If only more American medical/dental facilities were like Southern Family Dentistry! Highly recommend them.

As someone with bad teeth, it can be embarrassing to be seen at the dentist. I lost sleep the night before my appointment. Doctor Duncan has wonderful bedside manner and Cherlyn was so gentle and patient with me. They were also very mindful of my budget. Now I'm looking forward to my next visit. From the DMDs to dental assistants and the ladies who work the desk and phones. They are all very cordial and welcoming and respectful. They put you at ease with how comfortable and at home they make you feel. Its a great environment for sure and the atmosphere is definitely where I feel best when seeing a dentist. Negative experience: My dentist was on vacation when a tooth broke and had a hole in the gum. I am retired on a fixed income so I request a quote of what it would cost me. The quote was given and I agreed to it even though the cost was higher than my dentist. He did the work and put a temporary crown on. Paid the bill in full after the work. returning three weeks later for the crown to be glued I was informed I owed a couple of hundred more. He claims he did addition work that first day that was not quoted. If you get a quote from him make sure it is in writing or you will owe more. Very deceptive practice knowing you are patient of a dentist you are covering for.

Fantastic experience: I have had bad experiences with dental care. So, I'm always choosy when I'm dealing with doctor offices. Dr. Duncan was amazing. He was very informative and clear about what needs to be done now and later. He welcomed my opinion and genuinely listened. Great staff. So very sweet. I felt welcome and safe. Fantastic experience: I took my 3 year old after having multiple concerns. They treated her better than the pediatric dentist we went to before. Fantastic experience: insanely impressed. haven’t been to the dentist in 10 years after a bad experience. i was petrified and my need to visit was an emergency. they hit me with a heavy dose of valium before my procedure so i would be chilled out and were even playing baby animal videos on the screen while i sat in the chair. i wouldn’t say the procedure was pleasant (wisdom tooth and molar extraction), but it was pain free and they did an excellent job. tolerable soreness post extraction. i’m as scared as scared gets going to the dentist and I am very pleased with how it went. everyone is so kind and patient. if you’re worried or scared, please give them a chance and tell them how you feel, they will listen and not pressure you at all!

Dr. Duncan and one of his staff were exceptionally accommodating and met me at their office early the morning of Thanksgiving. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He did the dental work that visit without making me come back to another appointment. He fixed the pain I was having and genuinely cared.
