I’m 46 and have been to multiple dentists in several parts of the country, and none have been as honest, knowledgeable, or affordable as Manatee Family. If, like me, you have been sold expensive and unnecessary cleanings and treatments at some of the chain dental offices around Bradenton, or if you don’t have dental insurance, come here and they’ll give you an honest diagnosis, treat you for what you actually need, and accept out of pocket payments.

I would like to add that I had a cleaning appointment with Kristy this week. She was the best hygienist that I have ever been privileged to have. I can only say that I have always found this dentist and staff to be A plus for skills and the same for the general atmosphere in the office!! I would never change my opinion!!

Fantastic experience: I called them up for a broken molar and they got me in for an appointment within 2 hours.That was in May, and I have been getting some much needed work done since then. They are very nice, an explain everything thing very well, I would recommend Dr. Sharp and her staff to friends and family. Leaving an update 10/25/2023 , still going , been going for 1 1/2 years ,just got a cleaning and am still very happy with all my visits, 12/072023 got the last bit of dental work needed, my crown feels great. Now it will be regular cleaning needed.

Fantastic experience: About 6 years ago I had a fall and my two front teeth were chipped, I had just moved to Bradenton and was not established with anyone yet. I had gone to another local dentist and had my teeth repaired but unfortunately had very poor quality work done. When I brought up my concerns over the repair they would not listen or offer resolutions. Frustrated, I then found Dr. Sharps office and on my first appointment immediately knew she would help me and that I was in good hands. She was so attentive and listened to all my concerns. Her and her team did a beautiful job at not only restoring my smile but my confidence. I get so many compliments to this day on my smile and the process was so smooth. Now several years later I have gone back every 6 months and have no plans on going anywhere else! I’ve never had to wait and am always called promptly back. The whole staff and Dr. Sharp are nothing but kind, professional, and thorough. HIGHLY recommend!

Welcoming yet you kind of know that old feeling here it comes”. Everybody are so calm. Warm greeting for all the personnel but not sticky nor gushy. Just an honest welcoming. The procedure I had was rather uneventful because I pay attention to dental hygiene procedures and suggested routines I don’t believe you can beat the attention to detail but I have been spoiled for I have been going there for many years. I was there as a new patient, and they let me know that morning that a spot was open for a cleaning (so I could get the most done on my visit). I ended having to get a root canal, the staff facilitated that for me by reaching out to a provider within network, and I was able to get the procedure done in the same day. Overall my experience was great and the staff there make a great team.

Fantastic experience: I went to the dentist today. I hate going to the dentist. It is a sensory nightmare, but I knew I needed to go, so I showed up. I told them I am autistic, and they immediately asked what they could do to make everything easier. It was beautiful and so kind. They checked in on me often to make sure I was comfortable. They did not flinch at the signs that I have been chewing on the insides of my cheeks. They did not shame me for the fourteen teeth that will need gum grafts because I brush far too hard. They understood that my body craves sensory input, and sometimes that need shows up in ways that others may not expect. I left with a long treatment plan, but also with a softness in my chest. It reminded me that caring for autistic people is not complicated. It is choosing gentleness. It is making space for the way our bodies move through the world. And today, the staff there showed me exactly what that kind of care can look like. ♥️

Fantastic experience: My family has been going to Manatee Family Dental for something like five years now. We started going for the Vivos and DNA appliances but we stayed for the excellent care. We have had only good experiences here, whether it was a Vivos appointment with Caitlin, a myotherapy appointment with Christie, a cleaning appointment with a hygienist, or a restorative appointment with Dr. Sharp. Dr Sharp is a wonderful dentist with great experience, well-honed dental skills, and an outstanding bedside manner. She has also put together an incredible team of dental professionals that run the office and the clinic like a well-oiled machine. Shannon runs the front desk with kindness and a professional, welcoming manner. She is a genuinely sweet person and it reflects in her interactions with each patient. Melinda handles billing/insurance and check out with ease, comfort, and a friendliness that I truly appreciate. All of the hygienists that we have had cleanings with have been thorough and gave great cleanings. Caitlin is the team member my family had interacted with the most. She put my kids at ease from the first minute and has been truly awesome every step of our journey with Vivos, DNA, and the bit of restorative work we have needed as a family. She has walked us through everything with excellent communication and appropriate insight that has been key to many of our great experiences at MFD. All 5 of us have been very happy with Manatee Family Dental and there is no doubt that we highly recommend Dr. Sharp and her whole team for honest, professional, thorough, high quality dental care.

Fantastic experience: I love everything about this practice. All of the people there are so friendly, helpful, and good at their jobs. Dr. Sharp gives wonderful care and never tries to push unneeded services, as so many other dentists do these days.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to the Manatee Family Dental office. Walking into the office I was greeted friendly. I was impressed with the time they took to take x-rays, measure the gum and etc. Their equipment seems to be state of the art. Dr. Sharp took time to explain issues she sees and recommended a treatment plan to take care of what needs to be taken care of. All in a very relaxed setting. No pressure at all. Not you have to do that and that but you should consider these remedies to avoid future problems. I appreciated the professional suggestions. As I was determined to take care of the issues, appointments for future visits have been made before me leaving the office. To sum it up, I can only recommend the office of Dr. Sharp.
