They do an excellent job cleaning my teeth and are very thorough. I have dealt with health issues for years and my teeth have suffered tremendously. They always go the extra mile to make sure I'm good and I'm forever grateful! Fantastic experience: From two recommendations, telephone call for appointment, Dr Karshner and staff, I was highly impressed with everyone. My first contact by phone the lady was extremely nice and kind. They were able to see me in a very short period of time. The lady that did my cleaning (Torie) did a great job and was exceptionally nice. It was nice to meet Dr Karshne, he was nice, thorough, knowledgeable and set up a plan for me. I was really impressed by him because I felt at ease and agreeded with the plan. I now have a new Dentist and I thank everyone for taking good care of me!

Fantastic experience: I haven’t experienced dental care as exceptional as what I received at Ludgate Family Dentistry since my family moved in 2018. Now that we’re back in North Carolina, I am more than willing to make the drive to Lumberton because it would absolutely be worth it. Fantastic experience: Dec 8, 2025 Update: Went in for my normal checkup and cleaning. Brianna with Ludgate is such a great Dental Hygenist, always takes such care with me. She ensures I am doing the right thing, she is very friendly and polite and I enjoy chatting when possible with her. Ludgate is probably the best Dentist office in the area and definitely the best one in Lumberton. Keep up the good work and I will see you all again in June. Ludgate Family Dentistry has the best staff, dental hygienist, and Dentist in the area! You come in and are met with 3 beautiful smiling faces checking you in, once checked in you may have to wait 5 minutes for your hygienist to come get you and get started. My hygienist is also polite, friendly and very good at what she does, once she is done the Doc will come in, go over your charts, give a look at your teeth and ask you some questions, give recommendations if required and send you on your way with your next check up already scheduled. I would highly recommend them and have as my co-worker now goes there also along with all of my family members living in NC. Once again, just one of the best if not the Best in the area!!!

Fantastic experience: Visited for a cleaning. Only had to wait 5 minutes before they called me back. Everyone was cheerful, quick, and efficient. Cleaning was firm enough to do the job, but gentle enough not to hurt. Will ask for Kristina Haynes next time Dr Burns was also gentle but through, no rush, glad to answer questions and even took time to chitchat a bit. Made me feel like I was welcome, not a bother.
