Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Chamisa Hills Family Dental. I was very impressed with the entire operation. I called to set up an appointment and the person who helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful. When I arrived, I felt welcome. The dental hygienist was very professional and made me feel comfortable and explained things very well. The dentist reviewed my x-rays and did an evaluation. He explained things very well. He was very personable and professional. The checkout process was equally as professional and efficient. I look forward to my next visit and hopefully no cavities. I would highly recommend Chamisa Hills family dental based on my experience.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I recently visited Chamisa Hills Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. We feel very fortunate that our insurance prompted us to make this change. Everyone in the office was very friendly and the hygienists who worked on my husband and me were more than thorough. Dr. Candaleria is a conservative dentist who will only do the necessary work. My husband and I were so pleased with our visit and I can't say enough good things about Chamisa Hills Dentistry.

Negative experience: Not the place for veterans. My experience had nonchalant customer service personnel, people don’t answer the phone, and their emergency services number never gives a follow-up in time. When asked, they ignore you because they want stellar reviews. I do not recommend anyone from the VA use them. Very disrespectful. I also do not recommend African Americans use their services. Very disrespectful.

A true caring institution that goes the extra mile, puts in the extra effort that insurance covers expenses and the quality dental work my family has received is in line with their overall superior delivery.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a regular cleaning. As usual, Jennica (hope I spelled her name right) was thorough, very competent and just plain fun to hang out with. She's smart and very experienced. Dr. Candelaria assessed a concern I had stated, and he knew exactly what to do and make a bite adjustment on an implant - totally solved the issue in a matter of minutes. All this while we had some interesting conversations. These folks have their act together.

I actually enjoy coming in to see them, unlike the cold or toxic environments I've visited throughout my life, and this has undone my anxiety that I would get with other dentists and staff - which includes one example of a hygienist that actually laughed at me. Negative experience: I was seen end of September. I had a broken tooth and an abcest and scheduled to have the tooth extracted on Oct 7. I was sent away with no meds for the infection. I had to cancel scheduled appointment because I started a new job. When I called back to reschedule and ask for meds for the infection on the "SAME" tooth, I was told I needed an evaluation. I had an evaluation in September and You sent me away with an infection an no treatment. Beware people....these folks are not in it for their patients!!!!
