I received my treatment and an exam by Dr. Copeland. I am very satisfied with my visit. If anyone is looking for a good family dentist I would recommend you check them out.

Fantastic experience: I can’t believe this place only has 4.9 star rating. This office is great! I’ve been coming to them for years with no issues. Dr. Copeland is amazing, and no he will not hustle you even so much to the point where I asked for my teeth to be whitened and he said no- this is as white as they’re going to get naturally. Anywhere else would’ve ran with the money, so if he says you need some work done YOU NEED IT! The lady’s in office are nice, the hygienist DOES take the time to educate you- literally taught me how to floss correctly. All I can say is I love them and appreciate all that they do in assisting me keeping a clean bill of health!

All the office staff, manager, and financial are very sweet. Walking into an office full of smiles makes me at ease and the typical “dentist nervousness” fade. 10/10

Negative experience: Unfortunately I had a bad experience here and will not return. The dentist never "examined" me after my initial cleaning although I was charged for an exam. (Insurance was charged and paid.) After insurance paid the agreed contractual amount, I was billed $147 and told initially it was for the exam then was told the charge was for X-rays. I confirmed with my dental insurance providers, I have two policies, full mouth and bite-wing x-rays are covered at 100%. They did zero out my balance but it took lots of effort and frustration to get it done. Too many red flags for me to return.

Fantastic experience: Arrived early was called back a few minutes early. Laurra explained what she was doing as she went along. Dr. Copeland was encouraging as usual. I was treated very respectful.

Negative experience: Bait and switch. I went in for a free cleaning. And a small chipped tooth. I left with no cleaning, same chipped tooth and $128 poorer. They do the dentist tango. You have serious gum disease and we can’t do a typical cleaning. Your severe condition requires an extra special deep cleaning… which they will be happy to do for around $1800. Stay clear.

Fantastic experience: I had a nightmare dental experience in Bastrop years ago that left me thousands of dollars out of pocket, with fillings falling out just months later. It was so bad I avoided the dentist for nearly two years, despite the radiating tooth pain. I would dare to say I have PTSD like symptoms and get extreme anxiety just thinking about the sound and smell of dental tools. Copeland Dentistry changed everything. They work with me on my dental anxiety, even letting me use gas for cleanings. Every staff member is incredible—the hygienist who reminds me why vaping is wrecking my teeth, the crown specialist who makes flawless work while she listens patiently as I ramble under the gas , and the front desk lady who is always so sweet and makes scheduling my next visit effortless. Dr. Copeland himself is exactly my kind of dentist: tough love, honest, and focused on giving you the healthy smile you need without pushing unnecessary treatments. He tells it straight—“If you don’t floss, we’re doing this for nothing”—because he actually cares about results, not just your wallet. After years of dreading dental visits, I finally trust my dentist again, and I can’t recommend Copeland Dentistry enough.

Negative experience: I called and did a phone consult for my dental needs and was told they can help me and need me to come in. I went to my appointment and the Dr. said they can help and charged me for the visit. I spoke to their office for a few days and then one day call me and say they can't help. They didn't have a problem taking my money and giving me a bogus referral.

Fantastic experience: I switched to Copeland 2 weeks ago due to my previous dentist quoting a $500 crown for a chipped tooth. I received amazing care and a restored tooth for $99!!! If you are dissatisfied with your current dentist, take the plunge and come to Copeland. They are a cohesive group of professionals and provide exemplary service!

Negative experience: the dentist is good but the front desk lie to you went to the dentist and they that needed a deep cleaning and that I had $ 1500.00 on benefits and that I would only have to pay $ 20.00 or 25.00 for co-pay so I had it on june 25 th and 27 th and then on the 27 th of june they said that I owe $ 272.18 and after that i alway ask if I owe anything and they always said nothing and then i got a bill in my name but the statement had someone else's name for a procedure on November 21 st and i didn't go to the dentist on the 21 st of November so I don't know how's bill it is and then I got a phone call from the dentist office saying that I needed to pay my bill and I said that i had already paid them and that they need to refund some of my money back because I over paid on june 27th and said that they was going to turn me into collection and they scam me and the insurance so beware when paying and get a full statement so beware beware of your pocket book when your on a fixed income if they don't know what they're doing they need to find a new job because they're making that office look bad
