I just had to get a crown and I was surprised how quickly and painless my visit was. The doctor explained everything and made the procedure easy to go through. Fantastic experience: If you want a dentist, dental hygienist and office staff to treat you like you're part of the family, this is the place to choose! Not only is everyone extremely competent, they're also kind, super friendly and most importantly, honest. It had been a couple of years since I've had a cleaning and Maribel, the hygienist, did a great and thorough job with my teeth. Dr. Kates is endearing, intelligent and was very good at explaining what I needed without being pushy or trying to scare me into unnecessary procedures or treatments. I had a feeling my experience was going to be a good one from the first phone call with Jennifer and how smooth scheduling the appointment and discussing initial costs went. She's also just as lovely and on top of her stuff, in person. Thank you so much for a great experience, I usually dread going to the dentist.

Although they are no longer in my insurance "network", I wouldn't consider changing this team ever! Insurance companies dont care about you, but this Team does!! Office staff was very friendly, professional and efficient and made sure I was taken care of in terms of insurance coverage and required co-payment. Dr. Kates did an outstanding job reattaching my crown and took the time to chat about common interests and experiences. This is a first class outfit and I couldn’t recommend JFD more!

From moving back home to Jupiter after seeing a “city dentist” for years, the difference of care and consideration is night and day. Dr. Kates isn’t looking for a quick fix which will bring you back in six months, he actually wants to set you up for success. The receptionist woman is amazing and everyone from his dental team I’ve met is beyond great — truly a different experience.

Positive experience: Staff is nice, been going to the office fo 20 years when Donald Wolfe owned it. But.. the hours are limited, the wait to reschedule is 2 months out, and the 48 hr notice is one thing( life happens) emergency come up. But the $100, miss fee if you don't give that notice, is to much, I'm looking for a new dentist. Again staff is nice, but not convenient. Sorry but you ask.

A recently damaged tooth has expanded from a simple repair to the removal of my wisdom teeth and a root canal. Dr. Kates worked with me to understand my options and help me make the best decision for my teeth and my future health. After repairing my damaged tooth, I was able to return to my job and complete my day with relative ease. Scheduling was easy, I had little to no waiting time, and the staff were all positive and easy to work with. I’m happy to continue trusting him and his team now and for my future dental needs!

Fantastic experience: As per usual, I was very satisfied when I left the dentist office of Dr. Kates yesterday. I had dental surgery done very successfully two weeks ago and yesterday the sutures were removed. All went very well thanks to Dr. Kates and Jenny, his dental assistant.
