Fantastic experience: I’ve heard many good things about this dentist and office. My husband raves about their treatments, dr and employees. I am so afraid of dentists that I hadn’t been to one in over 10 years. I have a lot of issues but the Dr took a long time to speak to me, understand my hesitation and reassured me that they do things different there. I have my second appointment this month and i feel good about going. The tech took X-rays, 3d pics of my teeth and lots of other fun things. I would recommend to anyone thats had a bad experience with dentists. I am looking forward to my next appointment!

Fantastic experience: Getting a crown on your day off isn’t ideal but Dr McClung and his staff (Crystal and Darlene) were extremely efficient, thorough and professional. Fantastic experience: Fear the dentist no more! That is what Big Sky Dental did for me! For my entire life I have struggled with bad anxiety and fear of the dentist. This is the first place that has helped with that and I just finished my last filling appointment today and I am pretty sure I dosed off for a minute. :) I can't say enough good things about Big Sky Dental, Dr. McClung and his entire staff. Every single person there is amazing. I also had the best teeth cleaning in many years. Everyone here is so caring and strives to make you comfortable. I felt that Dr. McClung truly listened to my fears, concerns, and was very thorough in his responses of my future dental plan. I love this place and highly recommend.

The staff are phenomenal, all of them, front desk, Michelle, Dr. McClung and the hygenist (Taylor cleaned my teeth). I'm the type that keeps up with my dental care and I'm pretty certain that was the BEST cleaning I've had in at least a decade. The staff are extremely friendly! The environment is clean and welcoming. The equipment they use makes the dental experience enjoyable (if a dentist can be "enjoyable" that is - ha!) Hands down - Big Sky Dental Center - is worthy of 5 stars!!! So glad I found my "dental home"!!!

Fantastic experience: Recently had my first visit here and it was a great experience. The front desk staff was able to help ensure i had all the right paperwork and insurance before coming in. They sent me plenty of reminders, which is always appreciated. The lobby was super nice and welcoming! I was able to spend lots of time with the dentist since it was my first time in. The cleaning was a great process as well. Highly recommend if you are looking for a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: As someone who hasn't been to a dentist in years, new to dental insurance, and doesn't have a ton of disposable income I was intimidated choosing a dentist. Big Sky made it super approachable! I really appreciate how upfront they are about costs and Dr. McClung is literally the nicest person ever. So many times he's told me I don't need to go the expensive routes for treatments if I don't want to and has my best interest in mind every visit. It's reassuring to know I always have options with my health care! The rest of the staff is super sweet. I also love the little freebies like complimentary drinks and the comfort menu. I feel like I'm at a hotel or spa haha!

Fantastic experience: THIS is the office you should be booking at! I have *never* been to a dentist with such state-of-the-art equipment before-and I have seen a LOT of dentists! The office is exceptionally clean, and decorated with live plants (always a sign that they are taking extra care when healthy live plants are around!) The staff are SO friendly. Everyone there seems very happy, and I found each staff member to be helpful and kind. Special care was taken to ensure that I was well informed and comfortable throughout my visit. They even provided sunglasses during my cleaning. 12/10 this place is STELLAR and you should switch your dental care to these pros!!!

Dr. McClung rearranged his personal schedule and opened the office. He fixed the tooth and it looks better than it did before :) I cannot recommend Dr. McClung highly enough!

Big Sky was the first to return my call and I headed there. This was the best dental visit i’ve ever experienced. Even under the circumstances i’ve never had a dentist be so informative, compassionate about my pain, and willing to go out of their way to help a complete stranger. Fantastic experience: This place was great, more than great. I had a medical emergency with swelling from an infection of a tooth I failed to take care of. I went in as soon as the dentist open and didn’t have an appointment, they took me in immediately and helped get me to an office that could provide the surgical care for me all in the same day. It’s the next day and I feel so relieved. Above and beyond, super kind staff and informative. Thank you again!

Negative experience: The staff is remarkable. Very kind and my hygienists was wonderful, thank you Lee for being amazing. I wish I could have stayed with you. Never had to wait long to be seen. They give you a chocolate and a hot cloth at the end of your visit. I gave a 5 star to start when we first decided to go there. When I had to have a crown there was a problem with it leaking due to it wasnt seated correctly all the way down. If it hadn't been for me previously being in the dental assistant, I would have believed what he was saying to me. He expressed that the back of the crown below the gum line must have a little chip and the smell and taste was that of trapped food. I knew it was leaking and i could taste the awful taste. He then let me know the crown is under warranty under this ridiculous plan. If it's over a year you only pay a certain percentage, if it's over 2 you pay more and so on. Let me tell you guys if your dentist puts a crown on you and there is an issue, he should do the right thing and fix it. The dentist that I worked for all have been amazing and put their patients first . After going back in and having the most awkward conversation with him telling that he shouldn't be charging me, he finally and reluctantly did not charge me to replace it. When he took off the crown that odor I kept getting came rushing out 1000 fold. It was so bad. I knew if was leaking. He had adjusted it so much because it was seated high. When the crown was off I looked at it and there were no chips just as I had suspected. It was at that time I was so uncomfortable with remaining his patient. I need to not worry if he will stand behind his work. I think we as a patient need to know this warranty plan prior to choosing to have the crown done or what he would do if an issue should occur.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this dentist office. I have a fear of dentists and was so nervous to go in for treatment, but Dr. Jones and her assistant Josie took such excellent care of me! Besides the amazing work done on my teeth, they both cared for me not just as a patient, but as a person too! I’m thinking about trying to get another cavity so I can visit them again!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Big Sky Dental Csnter for roughly a year now and this has been the best dentist I have ever gone to. All of the staff are great and they really take care of you. Dr. Jones and Josie have been the people taking care of me and they are awesome! They have done a root canal and set me up with clear correct retainers. All of the work done by this dental office is amazing nothing but compliments!

Fantastic experience: Dr. McClung’s hands are true and his methods are conservative and reliable. If you want a dentist who doesn’t cut corners and values the engineering and artistry of his work, you should use McClung. He’ll give you his time in answering every question and you’ll leave more educated if you take the opportunity to pick his brain. His minimalist approach to dental maintenance will likely give a person’s natural teeth their maximum lifespan - very important in an age of processed foods and incomplete science where teeth like mine take the brunt.

Fantastic experience: I am visiting family from out of town and broke a filling which caused a great deal of nerve pain. Dr. McClung was able to work me in the same afternoon and did a fantastic job explaining three options that we could choose from to treat it, his practice was completely transparent about the price, and he was incredibly gentle with the work that he did - especially considering I have had some bad experiences in the past with painful procedures. I would come here again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic experience: Big Sky Dental is professional, honest and cheerful. Going to the dentist is not something most people look forward to, and after a very bad experience at another dentist in Bozeman I was looking for a Dentist that does quality work that I actually need. Dr. McClung has been excellent to work with and I really appreciate that he takes the time to explain why a procedure is needed or not. The Office Manager, Shelia is a cheerful joy to work with, despite only visiting twice a year she still remembers my name, and what we talked during my previous visits. The rest of the staff has been great to work with as well and all of my cleanings have been quick and pain free. I highly recommend Big Sky Dental.

Negative experience: They are all about money and do not have the patients best interests in mind. If money is your passion, then go into law or finance and not health care. I came in with a toothache, I had a cavity and they started doing tons of x rays and telling me that all my teeth are cracked and I need a root canal, possibly a tooth extraction. Only to then go to a different dentist and they were all like, yeah it's a cavity, but the root and tooth are completely healthy. The new dentist put in a filling and now I'm all good.

Fantastic experience: While on vacation from Tennessee to Yellowstone and The Grand Tetons I developed severe pain and a swollen face due to an abscessed tooth. My husband googled local dentist and he chose Big Sky Dental due to all the great reviews. We were so blessed to get an appointment first thing that Monday morning. Everyone was so nice and my husband and I were very impressed with the service we received. They couldn't pull the tooth, but referred me to a great oral surgeon, Dr. Maurer with Bozeman Oral Surgery and Implant Center. They called and scheduled me an appointment the same day. Not a way I wanted to start my vacation, but I was so pleased with my care! I highly recommend Big Sky Dental, they definitely live up to all their positive reviews!!:)

Fantastic experience: Both my husband and I received excellent care at Big Sky Dental Center. All staff are very friendly and helpful. I had three cavities filled and they offered me noise canceling headphones and music to distract me. I really can't recommend Dr. Jones enough. She is extremely knowledgable, approachable, and friendly. Unfortunately we are having to switch providers due to our insurance, but if this was not a factor we would be pleased to stay with this office! I appreciate how they are always upfront with what the cost will be. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Had a tooth ache and called them regarding it on a Wednesday. They did x rays for me on Thursday and planned to move forward on Monday but said to call them if it got worse. It doubled in pain and was about 8/10 on the pain scale the night after the x rays. I called Friday morning to report my pain to their after hours hotline. I got a call back in maybe 30 minutes and they opened their doors on a day off to examine my teeth and referral me to and oral surgeon in an hour on a friday. I got a root canal within 48 hours of toothpain and am feeling much better. Id like to thank Jessie and Dr. Mclung for going above and beyond to make sure i would feel better. Best dentist team ive ever dealt with.

Fantastic experience: I just had an amazing first patient experience with Dr. Jesse McClung and his entire team at Big Sky Dental. Dr. McClung took so much time just talking to me to get to know me, and about a tricky dental issue I've been having for a few years... it's so rare for a doctor to spend that much genuine time, I felt like a VIP. Also, the office space is new, clean, and great. I'm so glad I found this wonderful practice.

While other dentists have fixed temporary problems, Dr. McClung is the only dentist that has taken time to get to the ROOT (ha) of the problem and helped me find actual solutions! I also liked how they go out of their way to make you feel more comfortable, with extras like warm neck pillows, blankets, and personal music and noise cancelling headphones during procedures. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Big Sky Dental by a friend. I had my teeth damaged as a kid due to high fluoride in the water. I had veneers put on and wasn't the same. The team worked with me with many options and the best was having my affected teeth replaced with crowns, it was THE BEST choice ever. I love my new smile, and have confidence now when speaking with others. Plus i have had so many compliments on my teeth. My mouth is only sore from all the smiling i get to do now. I have been to many dentists over the years, and most of them moved me through like cattle, but not at Big Sky Dental, they treat everyone as if they have been best friends for years. The only way for anyone to appreciate this amazing staff is to go see for yourself, Words can't describe the joy. One more thing about my smile. Dr McClung made my smile look very natural, you would never know that i ever had dental work done.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Big Sky Dental Center if you haven’t been to a dentist or are in need of a new one! I have avoided dentists for years, but found some issues with my gums and my jaw with concern of an infection. Everyone is so helpful and kind and their office is very spread out, clean and well organized for anyone with concern about current health issues. Infections in your gums can be a scary thought and when I called them on Monday they had me in first thing Tuesday to help address my concerns and get started on treatment to diagnose. I have been back twice now and couldn’t be happier that they are the ones I called. I can see why they have the rave reviews they do because they are a great team! I would highly recommend Bug Sky Dental!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! I have been seeing Teresa for over 20 years now and truly enjoy going to my appointments. She's personable, caring, knowledgeable, and great at her job. Teresa has a wealth of knowledge about oral and health care which stands her a part from other dental hygienists. The appointments always start on time, everyone is professional and helpful, and they offer the "little things" that allow to be comfortble during your appointment.

Negative experience: All of the staff were very friendly, and professional. The cleaning that I received seemed to be very thorough as well. However, this dental office almost put me through a very painful procedure when it was in fact completely unnecessary. I told one of the dentists about pain that I was experiencing in one of my teeth and was recommended a root canal with a permanent crown because the dentist said my “root was starting to die.” I went to another dental office for a second opinion and was told I only needed a permanent crown since my root was completely healthy!!

Fantastic experience: I am from North Carolina, and I was visiting Big Sky resort for a week with some friends. At the end of the second day my teeth had a nasty run in with a rail and I had two severe chips and one loose tooth. In a panic at 4 o'clock and still one hour away from Bozeman I called Big Sky Dental Center. Keana was extremely helpful on the phone and was able to squeeze me in at the end of the day. When I arrived, Dr. Fisher and Krystal did an amazing job not only checking my teeth, but repairing them that same day! Less than four hours after falling on a rail teeth first, my teeth were repaired and you could not tell anything happened! Dr. Fisher, Krystal, and Keana saved my trip and I could not be more grateful. It's a shame I live 2000 miles away because anyone would be lucky to call Big Sky Dental Center their home dentist. I could not have better things to say about Big Sky Dental Center and the three amazing women who helped me that night!

Fantastic experience: There is an immediate sense of ambience upon walking through the door. The gorgeous leather furniture is quite welcoming and roomy while you wait. Staff is courteous and friendly, everyone is so peaceful. During the cleaning, a lovely acoustic guitar album can be heard softly in the background and the process in general was expedient. Many thanks for the warm cloth and delicious local chocolate to finish.

I have been a patient here for a little under a year now,and am happy to say that after 5 years of searching, I have found a dentist in Bozeman that I am happy with! Prices are reasonable and are able to accommodate later afternoon appointments.

Negative experience: Shocked to find out they made me pay $400 out of pocket for my son’s teeth cleaning instead of estimating what insurance would not pay. They’ll charge you full amount at time of service to pay themselves on day one, then they will send you a check for whatever insurance pays them weeks later through US mail. Pure greed. It’s them and their money before patient care. I work too hard to have great insurance and then have to support them on top of it. Buyer beware! Never again.

Fantastic experience: I have feared the dentist for years. Dr. Mcclung and all his LOVELY assistants made me feel like my anxiety wasn't a burden to them or their ability to help me on my path to healthier teeth. Before finding BSDC, I did not think there was a dental office like this one. Mcclung has educated me more about my oral health than any other doctor or dentist, making me feel like he actually cares about his patients not just their money.

Not only were the staff extremely caring and personable but they also truly value the customer by providing small gestures that go a long way. Negative experience: After two years at Big Sky Dental I am bummed to be switching. The staff at the office are all incredibly nice and contribute to a positive environment; however, I felt that I was constantly being sold services I did not need. After two years of being told I needed a filling, I finally had the funds to pay for it. Before the service, I had absolutely zero pain and was told the filling was not deep and that this was an easy/routine process. After getting the filling, that area in my mouth has been in pain ever since. I went back and was told it was "fixed," and that the dentist had even contacted his professor and that there was nothing wrong. It has been six months and to this day, I have sensitivity and bleeding where they did the filling, where before, I was completely fine!

Fantastic experience: Professional, kind, and so knowledgeable. I've been going to Big Sky Dental Center for more than two years and always have positive experiences there. They make apparent their genuine care for what they do and the patients they see during every visit. I'm so grateful they're in Bozeman!

Fantastic experience: I have never liked the dentist before. Big Sky Dental Center makes me feel comfortable and makes it- dare I say- an enjoyable experience. Everybody is incredibly nice and gentle during the cleanings and exams.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was both professional, yet warm and friendly. Who says, "I enjoyed my trip to the dentist." ? But I can say that I did. I had a dental exam and it was more thorough than any other dentist has ever provided.

Fantastic experience: I was so lucky to get an emergency appointment with Dr Fisher. Painful, untimely toothaches are awful!! The office has a special 10-15 assessment for your particular situation and helps you figure out what next step you wish to take, depending on the severity. Relief came within 45 minutes in my case.., one tooth less when I left the office. I’m coming back later to get a game plan to replace it. Great people! Helpful, friendly and efficient !!

Positive experience: I am new to Bozeman and found Big Sky Dental center through a newsletter they sent. Had a great first experience. Staff (hygienist + dentist) were friendly and knowledgeable! Office was clean and they were very open about asking questions about anything if I had any!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place, they have the best staff and always get me when I need an appointment on short notice. I also love that you can listen to music while they work on my teeth. I would and have recommended them to friends and family.

Negative experience: Was told i’d be charged $100 to cancel my Monday afternoon appointment on Friday morning. Understanding this is their policy, that’s an absurd policy. It indicates they care more about money than helping what would be a returning client.

Negative experience: Very quick to get an appointment and be seen, and very polite staff. However, be warned that this business charges SIGNIFICANTLY more than most places in the area, and charges you up front before submitting claims to insurance. It also took almost 2 months for them to submit my claims. After insurance, I ended up paying over $400 out-of-pocket for two visits that would have been free if I had gone down the street. Hindsight is always 20/20, but $400 for an unexpected warm face towel and chocolate at the end of a visit seems a little steep.

Fantastic experience: I really do not write online reviews. However, I thought Big Sky Dental Center deserved an exception. I visited them recently as a new patient, and this was by far my best experience in a dentists office. Professsinal, friendly, and thorough, Dr. McClung and the hygienist Theresa were both great. The front office staff were excellent as well, and you can tell from the moment you walk through the front door, that these folks are trying to do a great job. I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I have extremely high anxiety when it comes to the dentist. The loud machines that go whhhrrrrr in your ear, the dreaded needles, overall discomfort. I ended up with two appointments on the same day, first to check a problem tooth, the second to remove said tooth. The entire time I felt so relaxed and comfortable, Dr. Mcclung talked me through everything, when the needles came out he told me which one was gonna be the worst and counted down the 3 seconds, they gave me nitrous oxide to help further calm my nerves, and noise cancelling headphones! When the whhrrr machine came out, he told me to crank up the volume to negate some of the noise, and it worked. I just focused on my music rather than the crazy things happening in my mouth, and I was done. Normally I have been super sore and swollen after an appointment too, and so far two days later I feel more like myself than I have since this problem began. They are 100% focused on individual patient comfort and LISTEN to the needs and issues of each person and work with them.for customized care! I am blessed and happy to have found a new, and hopefully long term dental team!

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend this center. Received thorough exam and cleaning from hygienist, Theresa and Dr. Fisher. Treatment plan recommended but felt no pressure to start treatment. I am new to the area and I will choose Big Sky as my primary dentists.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed to have to write a negative review. I had a wonderful experience in-office at Big Sky Dental, and everyone has been courteous, professional, and kind. However, after two months and multiple messages/phone conversations, my insurance still has not received a claim from Big Sky Dental, despite all reassurances from the office. I have contacted my insurance multiple times, and they reaffirmed that they have not received ANY communication from Big Sky Dental, despite Big Sky Dental saying that they "can work with any insurance." I really wish I had a better experience, but as a college student, being out nearly $800 for two months and having what feels like absolutely no help from Big Sky Dental leaves me very angry and disappointed. I have spoken on the phone with the office 5 or 6 times now, and have been told they've submitted my claim via mail and fax. However, my insurance has still received nothing and it's been two months. I am so incredibly displeased with my experience.

Fantastic experience: Great experience. Very friendly and competent staff from the technicians to the dentists. Had to have a filling replaced the same day as my new patient evaluation, the staff stayed late to do it, and I felt great the next day. Highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff. They referred me to an oral specialist for wisdom teeth removal and they do a fantastic job on cleanings and checkups.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Fisher and the staff at Big Sky Dental are fabulous people. Dr. Fisher was thorough in explaining what dental work needed to be done. I really appreciate the small things like the new patient gift bags, lavender towels at the end of the visit, and the dark chocolate.

Fantastic experience: The absolute best experience for a miserable procedure.. Their staff is very efficient, supportive, and friendly, and, Dr. McClung is the best dentist that I’ve ever had...and (unfortunately), I’ve been to many! They are all about the patient, from the moment that you come in, to the the time that you leave. They are well worth driving the distance for us. My husband who had to have a root canal, feels the same.

Fantastic experience: I fee l like it's hard to find a dentist that's, " my dentist." A place you feel confident and excited to recommend to friends, or whoever. I've been through a number of dental offices in Bozeman and they were all fine and did a nice job, but I will not forget Big Sky Dental and I will be a customer there as long as I live here. The people there are so excited about their practice, their office, and their clients, it's infectious. I have no idea whether they have an assload of clients or are trying to grow, but the feel in that place is unbelievably friendly and personal. Customer service is obviously important to them but they also do their jobs incredibly well. I walked out of there realizing that my teeth had never been looked after properly until that visit. Thanks so much to Abigail, Jennifer, Dr. Fisher and Tracie for taking care of me, and I'll see you guys in 6 months!

Fantastic experience: I went to Big Sky Dental after a bad experience with another dentist and wanted to find another one in town. I was very happy with the care I received. First, the dentist was incredibly straightforward and kind, taking time to explain my options and let me decide. Also, his staff is incredible. I have worked in healthcare for 15 years and I have rarely come across an office so well run and friendly. From front office staff, to dental hygienists, they were all excellent (and seriously, so friendly). Would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Excellent office, friendly, helpful staff supporting a very competent , excellent dentist. We were traveling when I broke a front tooth. They could not have been nicer. Took me in the same day and repaired my tooth making recomendations for future work that should be done when I get back to my home area. Charge was very reasonable.
