Fantastic experience: I went for my first visit to West Tennessee Dental Group and had my teeth cleaned. I was nervous about going but I was put at ease right away. It was very clean and punctual. Kerry cleaned my teeth and she was gentle and thorough. I met Dr Self and he was super nice and explained things well. It was a great experience and I look to my next appointment.

We are also extremely impressed with the newest technology available no matter what procedure. I would Highly recommend Dr. Self and his staff. Fantastic experience: Always have great care and the staff are very friendly. .Dr.Scott has been my dentist forever and wouldn't think of leaving. I broke a tooth in alot of pain. I called and they got me in right away. Dr.Scott fixed the problem and I've had no pain. Couldn't be happier.

Negative experience: Awful experience. Left the office in tears. The assistants and staff were great. Super nice and the one specifically taking care of me was great. The dentist himself I found very rude and he made sure to keep shoving the fact that I was “too young to not have any teeth” down my throat. Maybe he should have taken his own advice as he said to me “go home and smoke a pack of cigarettes then” and chill out. I don’t even smoke cigarettes, but thanks for judging a patient that lives paycheck to paycheck and has horrible dentist anxiety. 100% will not be going back and neither will my children.

The front desk staff is very courteous and productively meets the needs of each individual patient. I have been a patient since 2014, and I can truly say each of my visits have yielded very positive results! Taylor my Dental Hygienist was very thorough with the cleaning process and addressed all my concerns regarding my dental health. Dr. Self is always exceptionally professional and ensures that the most current and top notch dental care is provided through his amazing practice!

Fantastic experience: I was seen on Thursday, March 19 and it was discovered I had an abscessed tooth. I was put on antibiotics and steroids. I had a root canal done on March 23. All of this was handled professionally and courteously. I don’t want to go to the dentist, but when I have to you can’t beat Dr. Self and his amazing staff!!!

She took the time to explain each step and helped alleviate my anxiety. The front staff were very welcoming, and the overall atmosphere of the clinic emphasizes patient care. They were attentive and understanding when I discussed my concerns, listening with empathy. Dr. Self addressed all of my questions and was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this clinic and Taylor, especially for patients who experience nervousness about dental procedures. I am truly grateful to have found this practice.

Fantastic experience: I don't typically like to leave lengthy wordy reviews but it bears saying that as long as this amazing dentist and incredible staff is open for business, our family absolutely will not go anywhere else for our dental care needs. We have been seeing Dr. Self and staff for about 15 years at this point and going somewhere else isn't an option. I myself am an extremely nervous patient in the dentist chair and the dentist and hygienists have over the years helped me let go of my fear and ive come to appreciate them, their hard work, professionalism, good Christian values and genuine caring. West Tennessee Dental Group is second to none.

The staff has changed over the years, but their customer service hasn’t. Dr. Self is always very welcoming & makes me feel at ease for however my teeth have wronged me!

Fantastic experience: The young lady who cleaned my teeth was very sweet and professional. No complaints intended but I called for a tooth to be filled that has been needed for over a year. When I arrived, I was informed I was having a cleaning only and have 2 more appointments before the needed filleg. Nearly 3 months away. Its okay though just would like the problem fixed before it truns into a problem. No worries though.
