Fantastic experience: Windom Family Dentistry is by far the best dental practice in Sterling! Dr. Windom and his staff are kind and gentle while doing procedures and great at explaining things. After previous experiences I was nervous about going to someone new. I had no pain with my procedure and he checked on me periodically to make sure I was ok.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, quick, clean, kind personal My husband was on so much pain I called on Thursday at 4:30 pm. The doctor waited for us. He saw us late because he knew it was an emergency. We went in at 5:00 pm and left at 5:35 pm with X-rays, anesthesia, and the extraction of the tooth that was bothering him. It couldn't have been better. Thank you very much.

Negative experience: Two reasons for my poor review. Pain! I had an extraction, which I’ve had done before elsewhere. I was in so much pain after that I considered going to the ER. The pain lasted almost 3 weeks, I was miserable. I was told the price, got the service, then the price was all the sudden DOUBLE was I was told. The Dr is a really nice guy, but he didn’t seem to care much about details, and on my way out of the office I was going to thank him, and found him with one of his female assistants quietly giggling together as if they were talking about someone behind their backs in high school. The entire experience for me was maybe just unfortunate? I wasn’t going to leave my review because I want to see people thrive, but when I received yet another bill in the mail, I decided to share my experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Windom got me in right in with a cracked tooth. I received a temporary crown until the permanent one came in. The entire staff is kind and friendly. Dr. Windom was caring and friendly. I will continue to go there for dental care along with the rest of my family. I highly recommend him!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Windom does exceptional work, is very kind and friendly. He even saved my molar that another dentist in town tried to crown and botched terribly. Extremely grateful for that. Only thing I'd change is having a number to reach them if there's an emergency after hours or over the weekend. I had extreme pain on a Saturday with my temp crown and I called multiple times, emailed, texted the service that texts you when your call is missed. I ended up going to the ER to get pain relief. Other than that I highly recommend Windom.

So many people from NE Colorado find themselves driving to the Front Range for braces because they aren't aware that Sterling Dental offers orthodontic care. I've had braces since 2020 and I am so, so, so glad I trusted Sterling Dental and Dr. Windom with this journey. Fantastic experience: First off I would like to say that Sterling Dental was the third place that I called, the first two were not able or unwilling to help. I had an emergency tooth extraction needed to be performed and Sterling Dental was not only able but very willing to help me out. I don't live here, I'm from out of town working here on a project just outside of town, For obvious reasons, I was unable to go home to my regular dentist and I was very impressed with how well this procedure went. I was only there for about 45 minutes and they had me done. I would like to thank Page and Dr Windom for making this a good experience. Thank you very much!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience! I chipped one of my front teeth and I was able to get an appointment for the very next day. I was in and out within 30 minutes which was amazing! Dr. Lemke could not have been nicer, he was so personable and friendly. Everyone at this office from the front office staff to the dental assistant Alexis was exceptionally nice. I will absolutely go here in the future!

Negative experience: Came to sterling dental in May 2020. I was pretty much forced in to a procedure but being scared in to not taking care of it right away, I scheduled an appointment to get it done. At the time I scheduled the procedure I was told the insurance company would cover it and only given my out of pocket cost which I paid upfront the day of the procedure. Now ten months later, I receive a bill stating I have to pay in full since the insurance company says the procedure was not necessary. With the letter, they also notified me my next appointment was cancelled until I pay in full or make arrangements to pay them. Will never go back to them. They force you in to procedures you don’t need.

The dentist was so gentle that I didn't even feel having five teeth pulled, the only thing I felt was the numbing of the shot numbing my gums and I didn't feel the first one I just Felt the second one on the roof of my mouth! Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of experiencing Dr. Lemke’s expertise with dental care. He is by far one of the only few doctors I have ever met, that showed real concern for a patient. He also showed understanding where I stood financially, and still did not hesitate to give me the best possible treatment I could get. It’s hard to come by doctors like him today. Fantastic experience: I have always had a healthy fear of dental pain but Dr. Windom and his assistants were amazing! Very kind and helpful. Not only did I have no pain with my tooth extraction but Dr. W made sure I could reach him in case of a problem over the 4 day holiday weekend. I was so pleased I immediately made an appointment for a teeth cleaning. Sterling Dental is an hour's drive from my house but I'll be making the drive happily!

Fantastic experience: Doctor W is as kind and detailed as can be; he and his staff have helped me greatly with my specialty appliances. I was happy with the reasonable prices, too. If you have mild sleep apnea, and if you are willing to pay out-of-pocket, a mouthpiece is a game-changer.
