Fantastic experience: Needed a root canal. Found Dr. Mike close to home and I’m glad I did. The whole process was painless and professional. Dr. Mike, Dr. Taylor, Sherry and the whole crew are a joy to work with. I am pleased to have found a “home” dental office.

Negative experience: Josh at the front desk was amazing and helpful... Too bad the other girl whose in charge of insurance acceptance is quite so helpful or professional. She was sitting in her office with the door open yelling at Josh about me and my granddaughters insurance. The other woman who was waiting turned to me and look like wth.... It was embarrassing... Not for me but for her unprofessional self. This is not how office staff is supposed to act! Is it I am still reeling from how UNPROFESSIONAL this woman acted.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shawna and Bayleigh were amazing. They were professional and took their time dealing with my anxiety. Like most people that hate seeing the dentist, I have some type of phobia however Dr. Shawna made me fell comfortable and showed that she cared, making everything easy. Thank y'all both.

Negative experience: Be weary of work done that is covered by insurance and after repeated conversations confirming that with insurance carrier… Great Florida Smiles and Orthodontics comes back 2 years later saying almost a $1000 is still owed,, #fraudulent approach to doing business.

Fantastic experience: General cleaning. Brianna was my dental hygienist. She is very thorough in her job and she has a wonderful personality. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: The dentist itself was ok, but this location us ridiculously overpriced. I had a cavity on a tooth and scheduled an appointment to get it checked out. At the appointment the dentist told me she couldn't fill it and it would need to be pulled. I paid $200 cash for this diagnosis. When I went to schedule the apppointment to have it removed, they told me it was going to be $773 to have the tooth pulled! Yes, almost $800 to have a single tooth pulled! Pljs the original diagnosis. After my insurance, my portion was $485. So $1000 dollars to have a single tooth pulled, with me paying $685. That price was so ridiculous that I went back to my previous dentist. They looked at the tooth and agrees that it should be pulled. They charged me $0 for this diagnosis and charged me $180 to pull it, of which my portion was $90. So if you want to pay $1000 to get a tooth pulled go here!

Fantastic experience: Just got back from my first appointment with Bri - can’t say enough good things about her! Professional, soft touch, thorough and Kind. This place is great from the front desk to Bri & Dr. Courtney - I feel welcome and in good hands.

Negative experience: Poor service. The hygienist got mad because I didn’t want fillers done on my kids so she told us we were done and marched us to the front. Paid and left. A year later they called and said we owed them still. Stayed on the phone for an hour and showed we paid so they cleared it. They called 8 months later saying I still owe them. I don’t. Now I have to go through proving it again even though I paid over 2 years ago.

Blake was so kind during my long dental procedure, and she even got me a blanket when she realized I was cold. Everyone I met, from the receptionist to the insurance coordinator to my hygienist and dental assistant to the doctor was so professional, friendly, and well-trained. Truly done of the best people I've met!

Negative experience: Do not recommend. I opened a complaint against Great Florida Smiles and Orthodontics as they are a contracted VA Community Care provider. My complaint will be investigated by the VA Office of Inspector General for billing me for a bottle of mouthwash I refused to accept because they asked me to pay them $23.00 for it. My dental expenses are 100% covered by the VA, which I told Josh. Yesterday, I received an email from Great Florida Smiles and Orthodontics, PCB, asking for payment of $23.00 fot the mouthwash I refused to accept. I called their office and asked to speak to the office manager. I was refused and ended up talking to Josh, again. I stated the abive-styled issue and he said the bill would be removed from my account. I have a lack of trust with them and cancelled all of my future appointments.

Fantastic experience: I have never been treated better than I was today. What Bailey and Shannon did for me was kind, informative and gentle. I would highly recommend them. I have a lot of anxiety and I did not have a panic attack. They went slow and listened to what I had to say, and offered me options. I asked Shannon if she could give me a shot without it hurting and she confidently said yes, and then she did it. WOW

Negative experience: This , what seems like a franchise model dentistry, welcomes first time callers with a computer generated AI answering questions which in my case gave incorrect information. I’m also wondering why there are so many one star reviews namely charges that patients were never told about. After 3 calls to try to get information I’ve given up on this particular dentistry. I also read one review where the patient was charged $75 for treated oxygen of which the patient was NOT ALLOWED to opt out of. Another review stated they were charged $800 in addition to what their dental insurance covered. These are all warning signs to go somewhere else where humans are actually in charge and are available to speak with new potential patients.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a cleaning and id say it was perfect. Everyone treated me with such kindness. Especially hygienist Bri, she made sure I was comfortable and Dr. Courtney gently was too. Looking forward to my next visit!!!!

Negative experience: Was a terrible experience.Dr.Banks was trying to take out my temporary crown and DID NOT give me enough pain killer.I left the chair a couple times and cried through it all.So disappointed in her and how the NEW billing with insurance works.No letter making you aware of new policy just pay up front for everything.Yes a $2,500 crown.Pay half for the prepping and then the balance when crown comes in.When I hit the roof they put my crown in and then filed for balance with insurance.Never again.

Fantastic experience: My experience was absolutely fantastic. I have been to several dental practices in different capacities over the years and this was far less stressful than I was used to. The process was fast and painless and Rose, my Dental Hygenist was both engaging and professional in her duties! I highly recommend this office!

Fantastic experience: Let me be clear, I’d rather do ANYTHING than go to the dentist. I have horrible teeth and get crazy anxiety before dental appointments. I can’t even find words to describe how much that changed when I found Great Florida Smiles. My dental hygienist Rose is super gentle and so kind! Dr Courtney is wonderful. Even the front office staff is warm, friendly, and helpful. I love this place - and I can’t believe I’m saying that about a dentist!

I was never sitting with a bad taste in my mouth. She would warn me before something would taste bad. Negative experience: was told i needed some repairs, did not explain what they were. i trusted them that it was needed. I was in the chair about 30 minutes and was charged $800 above what insurance paid, also left a gap between tooth that was not there before and there is a hole in the back of the tooth. The two ladies that worked on me carried on what sounded like a heated conversation the whole time i was in the chair. when i ask why the bill was so much i was told it was because of the ozone that was added to the water. Will not be back.

Negative experience: Great Florida Miles charged me $800 for a sleep apnea test and exam. When I needed an oral device for treatment, they quoted $5,000. In comparison, I contacted American Sleep Dentistry, which charged $45 for the sleep apnea test (without a separate exam) and quoted $1,500 for the same type of oral device. Because I am 67 years old and covered by Medicare, the oral device was free for me at American Sleep Dentistry. It's important to check your eligibility before paying out of pocket. Based on my experience, Great Florida Miles charged significantly more than American Sleep Dentistry for similar services. I recommend comparing prices before making a decision.

Negative experience: 0 Stars. *BEWARE OF A HIDDEN $75 CHARGE FOR "OZONE" IN THE WATER BEFORE YOU BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT!* I have never heard of Ozone treatment before this practice. But apparently it's worth $75. It's their "Standard of Care" that you CAN'T opt out of.It's also NOT covered by insurance, so if you go here, you're literally paying $75 extra out of your pocket for the water they use in the treatments. I wasted a day off from work because no one told me about this charge when I booked my appointment, so when the staff told me that I couldn't opt out of the extra charge, I told them I was opting out of the appointment and left. I even called and spoke to the Insurance Coordinator, Josh, explaining that I was pretty angry about this and why. He was understanding in the way he responded, but stood by the "standard of care" BS. I am not angry at the staff who have to uphold this nonsense as much as I am about the policy. Now my dental problem isn't fixed, despite having great insurance, I lost a day of work from it, and the staff basically told me TS. This practice should be ashamed of this hidden charge or at least tell the patients about it before they waste their time of get stuck paying a junk fee. Unacceptable! I strongly recommend taking your dental needs elsewhere like I now have to do. DISGUSTING PRACTICE!

Fantastic experience: So yesterday I went to get a cavity fixed which was under a old cap,ugh. Don't you worry Dr.Mike and his staff hired Blake (good move) a few months ago and between the two of them I was out of there with a smile on my face just in time for happy hour. Thanks guys see you in 3 weeks for the permanent. My wife and I recently changed local dentist offices and you should too! Cheers

Fantastic experience: I cannot rave enough about the staff and the dentist at this location! Absolutely amazing, from the ladies at the front desk, to the dental assistant (Ms.Blake) who was absolutely amazing with my kid, and just made us feel so comfortable , and spoke to me and my child like human neings, to the dentist, who took her time to explain everything to me. I have never felt more comfortable at a dental office, and couldn't be happier! Definitely made our 2 hour drive from Tallahassee worth it! Thank you again!!

Fantastic experience: We were visiting from out of state and had some ortho issues - They got us in first thing and taken care of! Everyone was so patient and kind. They explained everything to us and gave us some great recommendations to help get us through the rest of our trip until we can get back home with our normal ortho!

Negative experience: Horrible communication. I was in for a cleaning / exam and got a dental plan for needed work. Talked to a lady who deals with insurance. She told me she would call me back. That was 11/2 months ago. Tried again and talked to someone else. That was Monday. She said she will try to get back with me by the end of the day if not, for sure on Tuesday. It’s now Friday afternoon. They must be making to much money to care. My dental plan is only 10K. Just wanted to know how much out of pocket I would need. CRICKETS…

Fantastic experience: As a medical doctor, I have been SO IMPRESSED by my dentist, Dr. Mike and the entire office staff. They are always friendly and helpful. I came in with a serious issue, they were extremely quick in getting me in, creating a treatment plan, and executed it quickly! From Keenan at the front desk, to HQ and TJ behind the front desk were all amazing in scheduling and payments! Jodi, and Victoria were my dental assistants…… they worked through my EXTREMELY bad dental anxiety each appointment, all while treating me with respect and kindness! Victoria reached out to me after hours to make sure I was doing ok, much appreciated! Dr Wall….. so professional, so gentle, and again so kind….. explains everything to you so you know what’s going on, and you can tell loves this profession and does it well! What started as an emergency fix, has turned into MY dental office that I will bring my family to! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for treating me so well! They would only let me give five stars, they deserve 10! Coco!

Fantastic experience: I did not yet have a dentist in the area so this was a great find! And the facility is so nice - from ambiance & decor (prettiest waiting room ever!) to the staff. Was an alleged around great experience. Victoria, Dr. Brent, and TJ took great care of me and made me feel very informed, welcome, and comfortable.

Negative experience: Not a fan. Was great before the change in ownership. Made appointments for cleaning and it was never accomplished for myself. Drove two hours there and back many times and never reimbursed in anyway for crowns coming out on multiple occasions. If a person does not want a service to be completed that should always be respected and unfortunately it was an uphill battle with them. A sign of disrespect for trying to challenge the paying customers perspective or views to better suit theirs. Meaning if you don’t want an X-ray or radiation exposure they don’t care to accommodate you they will threaten to just drop you. The ladies that work there are always kind for the most part I will say that and very sweet with kids.
