Fantastic experience: Kids Dentistree at Richmond Hill is always amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and makes everyone feel welcome. My kids don't like going to the dentist but they love it there.

Negative experience: Dentist office was great until I told them not to give my 17yr old nitrous for a filling and they did anyway. If my insurance doesn't pay they expect me to pay for it. NOT A CHANCE KIDS DENTISTREE.

Fantastic experience: My son Calem has been attending Kids Dentistree since he was in Elementary school. He had his last visit today since he graduated from RHHS. It has been an amazing journey with his hygienist Allison who we are going to miss dearly. She has always been not on professional but personal. You can feel her welcoming spirit immediately and was always gentle, caring and kind. The other ladies in the office were always courteous and professional. I highly recommend your children to come here where you will be treated with the utmost respect. Your children will receive the best quality of care while being in a kid friendly environment.

Negative experience: Called to a schedule appointment and lady on phone sounded mad or like I was inconveniencing her life lol. Should do training on customer service. Will not be using this as our family dentist.

Fantastic experience: They take good care of their kids. We’ve been going since he was just a little guy now he is a teen. They have been with us the whole way. And my son has had a great experience with the dentist. Awsome!!

Negative experience: Terrible experience!!! We took our son there to get multiple things done. Charged 1700 we agreed too. Then two days later they charged and extra 850 to the card on file for anesthesiologist that we were completely unaware of and they never mentioned one time while we were there getting the procedure done. Completely do not recommend

Fantastic experience: My 5 year old daughter is very difficult when it comes to the dentist and I was very nervous about this appointment. It was her first one here since we moved. But the staff here made sure we had an amazing experience. The front desk was very nice, the lobby was fun and exciting. Ms. Lauren was very sweet to her and patient and understanding of how nervous she was. I love that she was very accommodating for what fit for my child and was very happy to do so. Dr. Claudia was very sweet and informative. Her top priority was that my daughter had a positive experience with the dentist and was excited to come back. I couldn't be happier with how our appointment went! Looking forward to going back!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best children’s dentistry around! They were able to fix my, very anxious, toddlers tooth with no problems. They achieved what the other kid’s dentist in Richmond Hill could not. Richmond Hill Dentistree has the best dentist, dental hygienist, and admin staff I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. I highly recommend! And for those of you military families wondering, yes, they do accept TriCare Select.

Fantastic experience: We were referred to Kid's Dentistree by a local dentist in our Liberty/Long county area. They didn't have availability for several months, and my young son needed a procedure. He absolutely LOVED the experience. The team there are some of the most skilled specialists in their field. The doctors are super informative and detailed with their care. All of that masked by the kid centered environment, that distracts and entertains little brains. That was about 5 YEARS AGO and we still drive the extra distance to continue with his regular check ups.

Negative experience: We have taken our 5 kids here for several years. I find them to be dishonest and demeaning. Every single visit, they find ways to overbill my insurance. I am constantly paying for services that were not performed because they know how to game my insurance. Further, every year, they are jerks about it... talking down to my wife and myself like we can't possibly understand the intricacies of their billing. I'm not talking about thousands of dollars, but they have worked my insurance for hundreds of extra dollars and are constantly sending me bills for $5-30. I know you might be thinking 'here is a review from someone who doesn't understand insurance deductibles and copays and probably struggles to pay them'. Unfortunately, that couldn't be further from the truth... my negative review is based on the practices and their annoyance factor.

Fantastic experience: Took my son here for his first dental visit. From the moment we entered, until we left, the staff was so friendly and kind. The dental hygienist was great with my son, she explained everything to him, and really put him at ease. The dentist was great as well and went over everything with me after the exam. The atmosphere is so inviting and I would highly recommend taking your child here! My son is already looking forward to his next appointment!

Our hygienist was also so patient with my son as this was his first dentist trip. I highly recommend them. My son is already asking when we can go back!

Negative experience: I attempted to call and make an appointment to seek a second opinion on my 5 year olds oral health. The receptionist was incredibly rude and made me feel silly for wanting my son to see their dentist for a second opinion. After some back and forth with her mumbling a reply or two, I finally ask “I’m confused why you’re confused, why can’t your doctor see my son?” After this pointed question, she begrudgingly offered an appointment. She asked my son’s name; I told her his name and that he goes by his middle name. She has the audacity to say to me “Well we’re going to call him by his REAL name here.” Are you serious? “Ma’am,” I said “that IS his real name. Please disregard this call. I would rather eat rocks than let my child near you or this office.” So if you want to be rudely dismissed sprinkled with a little bit of a condescending attitude, come here. I can’t IMAGINE how horrible they may be in the back if this is the type of people they allow upfront representing the practice. I don’t understand why people who CLEARLY don’t care about their job/health of their potential patients, work in healthcare in the first place.

Fantastic experience: Ms. Allison does a wonderful job in cleaning my teeth. She’s so kind and down to earth. I will soon be 18 and will continue with Kids Dentistree because of her. The entire team is great!!! I recommend Kids Dentistree!!

Negative experience: If I could give -1 stars, I would. I scheduled an exam appointment for my child. When we arrived, we were taken to a bay where there was a "cleaning" set-up. I told the assistant we were only there for an exam but the assistant acted clueless even with the detailed schedule in front of her. I agreed to the cleaning because my child was, in fact, due. The assistant, not a hygienist, only polished my son's teeth. She NEVER picked up a scaler. NOT ONCE. I have been a trained dental assistant since 1998. I have assisted in various specialties, as a civilian, for the military, and in various countries. I know that even children have buildup anywhere there are salivary glands/ducts. A scaler should have been used! I looked down the bay where the actual hygienist was cleaning another child's teeth. That child received a thorough cleaning! The assistant took X-rays and touched all over the lead apron with the same gloves she used in my son's mouth. Infection control was horrible. The assistant brought the X-rays up on the screen. I could see that my child had a cavity on a deciduous(baby) tooth and the beginning of a cavity on an adult tooth. When the doctor did the exam, she quickly (not thoroughly) scaled areas the assistant should have scaled. She then said that my son was good to go. NOT ONCE did she mention the cavity or the beginning cavity! They charged me for a full cleaning! When I asked about the "cleaning" I was told that all of the assistants are trained to do cleanings. Obviously that assistant needed to go back to training because that cleaning was substandard. I'm not sure what happened but this used to be a nice place. The only issue I ever had in the past was an assistant taking a bitewing x-ray instead of a periapical x-ray....which they tried to charge me for until I said something. I feel they placed my child in the seat to pressure me into getting a cleaning... and that cleaning was garbage. We will NOT be back! DO BETTER!!!!!

Negative experience: Update: 08/30/2022 Practice Manager handled the billing issue and processed my refund. Update: 08/23/2022 still waiting on our refund!!! Meanwhile....they try to send us another bill! If you just need teeth cleaned, service is great...otherwise find another Dentist office! Dentist (Kerri) could not complete her job for a simple filling. Started on both my children and didn't complete the work. I was charged for my son and wasted a day off work to get nothing done. Kerri's numbing technique was awful to say the least and was the start of the problems here. Billing has also been an issue. They have tried to overcharge me on multiple occasions. Still waiting on a refund for more than 4 months now. I received a call two weeks after our last visit to be told both my children needed another Dentist for work this office should have been able to complete.

Fantastic experience: Kid’s Dentistree has a great environment for kids while they waiting (which it’s less than 8mins) and It counts with well-trained staff to work with toddlers. My 4 years can get a little challenging but they were able to work with him.
