Fantastic experience: The Best! I never thought I would be saying that I love going to the dentist but, I can say that I love going to MY dentist. I have been coming to Dr.Marcus since I moved to Sonoma many years ago. The staff there are all amazing, kind and professional. They have helped me improve my dental care and health by really talking and explaining what's going on and how to make things better and it has worked. I really feel that they care and it's always such nice energy within the group. Absolutley 5 star!

Fantastic experience: Had an urgent dental problem and called to see if anyone could help me. I was given a n appointment only 3 hours away. When I arrived I had a very short wait and , Bam, the doctor was there ! She had me fixed up in about 10 minutes and happily out the door. Great, warm, caring people and service!!

Fantastic experience: I was chewing a piece of caramel candy, and it pulled off c crown! It was after hours so I left a voice message on Dr. Marcus’ office phone. Lo and behold, they called the next morning and said I could come in at 10:30 that day! What great customer service! I went in and they quickly and easily put it back in. Fantastic experience: Jackie, one of the dental hygienist I had today, was very friendly and made me feel most comfortable. She was very gentle, informative regarding the progress on my gums, and provided some good tips on dental cleaning and flossing. So far, it has been a good experience with her and with Dena Marcus, my dentist, who had done a deep cleaning and fillings on my first two visits at her office. The front desk staff and manager has also been very patient and helpful in the scheduling with reminders and explaining fees in detail.

Negative experience: Brought in 90 year old mom for first visit: Office knew we didn’t have insurance tried to sell us a water pick anyway:( For starters…Could not get the DDS to perform cleaning due to not having list of meds/without talking to primary care physician first. This is acceptable HOWEVER they should have INFORMED OF THIS BEFORE the X-rays because charging us 310 dollars for nothing is not acceptable. Especially since the front desk had tried to get the X-rays from her previous dentist 10 minutes earlier. They were not transparent about the costs or that we we needed lists of medications before any Tx would happen for mom and Dr’s consent prior to the new X-rays AND did not state THE possibility OF no deep cleaning could be performed. They just let us go through the process, and it was HARD for my 90 year old mother to stand there with a heavy curtain on and take X-rays. This is what bothered me the most! ThenThey charged us, it was taxing on my mom, and then the front desk seemed like they could care less. No way!

My most recent visit was not the best because the hygienist hardly rinsed my teeth during the cleaning and seemed unsure of herself when to do so as well as how much to water to spray before vacuuming it out. The two visits prior were better.. otherwise a good dental office.

Fantastic experience: I just love this dentist's office. I recently had Mary clean my teeth. She made me feel so comfortable, and she provided me with tons of useful information about my dental health. I had no idea why flossing was so important (although I floss regularly). Mary suggested a new electric toothbrush, which has done wonders. I also love the front desk person. She was extremely accommodating when finding a lengthy block of time for my fillings. Everyone at this office is just so nice. In fact, we are moving to Florida, but I went ahead and made appointments for my husband and I in November. We'll be here for Thanksgiving, and it works out perfectly for our next cleanings! Great office and staff. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I had a very informative visit. The dental assistant was so knowledgeable & explained everything that was going on with my teeth. I haven’t been flossing so she suggested an alternative. I have a brand new waterpick that I haven’t used because I don’t know how & she told me about you-tube videos that would give me the instructions I need. I had also chipped one of my front teeth x& she had one of the dentists come in & explain what he would do. The receptionist was wonderful as well. She made my 6 month appt. & an appt. With the dentist that will fix my front tooth. She even gave me an estimate for the cost of repairing my tooth! Excellent service all around!
