Fantastic experience: Kelly the Receptionist is always so inviting and caring. My Dental Hygienist Michelle is so very kind and takes great care of cleaning my teeth. Dr. Jones my Dentist is always very professional and caring to my teeth needs. They are a great team in a very clean establishment.

Negative experience: I had a cleaning at this office today, and what should have been a routine visit turned into one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in a medical setting. When I got home, I noticed plaque still left underneath my gum line. I called the office around 5:13 PM the same afternoon to simply ask if I could come back to have that one spot checked. Instead of listening, the front desk receptionist, Gina, immediately became defensive and dismissive. She repeatedly insisted there was “absolutely no chance” anything was missed. At one point she said, “Are you a dentist? How do you know it’s plaque?” It was incredibly condescending and completely inappropriate. Patients should not be talked down to for raising a concern about their own care. This attitude started before I even sat in the chair. I had called ahead to confirm insurance and believed my appointment was at 2:00 PM based on the text reminder I received. I was rudely corrected and told it was 2:20 PM in a tone that implied I was somehow at fault. I work in healthcare, and I understand how busy it can be. But being busy does not justify arrogance, defensiveness, or disrespect toward patients. The way this office speaks to people is unacceptable. She even at one point said that “well, I guess this place isn’t for you then.” The feelings are definitely mutual, Gina. Edit: By the way, don’t believe the response they wrote below. I did go back to get that one spot checked and everyone pretended nothing happened as if their receptionist didn’t just insult a patient. Nobody apologized or bothered to ask me what happened in person. So please, don’t tell me you’re interested in hearing what happened. If you do, give me a call and apologize.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Michal Jones has always been the best dentist I’ve ever dealt with, that’s why I came back, 2nd best is not good enough. As for the staff, grade A from me too. A big thank you too!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jones at Park Place Dental isn’t my regular dentist, but he was gracious enough to see me, because I felt I needed a second opinion about some dental work. Dr. Jones could not have been nicer. After some X-rays were taken, Dr. Jones was very frank with me about the procedure and put my mind at ease about going ahead with my regular dentist who I love and trust, I just needed a second opinion. If I’m looking for a new dentist, Dr. Jones will be my guy. Additionally the office staff Gina and Kelli were very helpful with getting me in to see the Dr. on short notice. Very friendly and also adorable. Milo, the yellow lab welcoming patients, was just the cherry on top!

Fantastic experience: I think this office is the greatest. They have been helping me taking care of my teeth. The staff is very professional and when you come in for Appointment you can see they are happy to work there, I have been going there for about 2 years or so and always they are on time for your appointment.

Fantastic experience: If your looking for a Dentist with experience that doesn't push you to get implants or "extra work" this is the place for you. They DID offer me Invisalign but was not pushy and didn't try to feed me full of false reasons as to why it's so "important". He respected my decision to pass and moved on. Thats a rare gem these days. Dr. Michael Jones is great! Update: I had my first shot by Dr Jones. Easiest shot I've had HANDS DOWN. AND the work he did on my chipped front tooth is amazing! I had it fixed by a different dentist in Petaluma but it chipped again, Dr. Jones way surpassed his work. If you're afraid of going to the dentist, go here. Don't let yourself loose teeth or let cavities go to root canals, you'll be safe here!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jones has a really special dental practice. Everyone there is kind, patient, and gentle. It’s a very friendly practice where I feel quite at home with everybody. I actually feel like I’m visiting my friends when I go to an appointment. Even when I don’t have an appointment with Dr. Jones, he always makes a point of poking his head in to say hello. All of the dental hygienists are so careful, kind, and very gentle, but thorough. Park place dental, uses the latest computer and dental technology to provide the best care and to track dental health. I have been a patient with this practice for at least 20 years and have never thought about going anywhere else. Parkplace dental is the best.

The doctor spent time assessing our needs with new imagine I had not seen before, giving better understanding of our mouths and need. They were also able to do needed Cleanings afterward. He’s also an excellent dentist. His dental hygienist Tara is someone you would absolutely love to have cleaning your teeth. She is excellent. I just saw her and my teeth have never looked this good. I highly recommend Park Place Dental. You’re not going to find anyone with as much compassion for their patience as Dr Joanne has and his entire staff.

Negative experience: WARNING: Things have changed! Myself, my wife, and my mother all received bills more than six months after being seen. My mother is a cash pay patient who always settles her balance at checkout. My guess is that the practice has been sold to private equity and that Dr. Jones is no longer in charge. I left a message requesting to speak with Dr. Jones, but no one returned my call. BEWARE.

Fantastic experience: What a lovely experience, said no one ever when going to the dentist. Well let me tell you, this is more than your average dental office. Everyone is kind, helpful, gentle, supportive, etc. Dr Jones explains step by step processes, and has a fun sense of humor. My Dental plan and a follow up appointment was prepared, explained, and all affordable.

Fantastic experience: I came in for an annual exam, cleaning and x-rays. I first saw Ann, the dental hygienist who took x-rays and did a wonderful and very thorough job of cleaning my teeth. Then I saw Dr. Jones, my dentist. I can't say enough of how very kind and gentle and professional, yet compassionate, a dentist he is! He explains in understandable detail and with great patience what work, if any, needs to be done for your teeth in order for you to keep them as long as possible and in the best condition possible. Then, there's Kelly the office manager whose range of knowledge and information regarding the world of claims and insurance billing is phenomenal. Plus her welcoming and friendly manner in which she treats new and existing patients - as soon as they walk in the door. All together, the entire staff at Park Place Dental in Petaluma makes going to the dentist a rewarding and satisfying experience in keeping our dental care, dental health and our smiles, I might add, in great shape and is one of the best things we do for ourselves. I highly recommend them!

The doctor is clear with his communication, uses the latest 3D technology that is unlike anything I've seen before in a dentist office. The staff explains the details and provides the paperwork so you can review further at home. Overall, Dr. Jones and Park Place Dental is a great family dental office. Additionally, they accept Delta Dental too, so its an added bonus.

Fantastic experience: I am a relatively new patient. I hadn't been to a dentist in over 5 years and was very nervous about my first appointment. All of the people I have dealt with in this office have been so nice and they don't make you feel pressured to have unnecessary work done or buy unnecessary products, which is the reason I left my previous dentist office that I had been going to for over 20 years. I did have to have a deep cleaning done and they were so good at keeping me comfortable while they worked. I didn't feel a thing other than the numbness. Fantastic experience: The entire staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Jones is great at his profession. I had 2 crowns recently. The first first procedure was finished in 30 min. I was amazed. The second crown had a substancial cavity close to the nerve so it required more novacane but Dr. Jones saw that I was uncomfortable & stopped right away. Everyone there is nice and makes you feel right at home. I'm so happy I found such a great place fir my dental care.

Fantastic experience: Well, I am so glad I made the change from my HMO Delta Dental Plan with Kaiser back to a very competent dentist, Dr. Jones, and wonderful staff at Park Place Dental. Since I qualified to start with Delta Dental HMO through Kaiser, I have had nothing but one issue after another with each office I went to. I never made it to the fourth office because of what happened just over the phone. Not only was the staff rude telling me if I don’t like it, I can go elsewhere, another office without a hygienist, they totally screwed up my appointment. I was supposed to get a cleaning and x-rays and exam by the dentist which I was already seeing a red flag but they told me I was not getting my teeth cleaned and I was only getting x-rays snd exam and couldn’t tell me when I would get a cleaning. What is that all about? These offices are just a money machine where they have so many patients and not enough staff and they make you come back and forth for something you could have done all at the same time. I never have seen such unprofessional dental offices in my life. Plus, believe me, you’re not getting a deal. If you had the list of what the charges were supposed to be and what they actually charge, you would know what I’m talking about. Try to get that from Delta Dental. It’s next to impossible. If only I had read the reviews on these Delta Dental offices and saw that they only received between two and 2 1/2 stars, I definitely would not have used the plan as long as I did. Some of the people in the reviews complained about exactly what I felt. Others had very bad experiences in other ways. Not so with Park Place Dental. Five star rating with lots of reviews. One good thing said about them after another. How can you go wrong! Thank you Dr. Jones, Barbi and staff! I really do appreciate having confidence now when I go to the dentist. I want my teeth to last and I was afraid I wasn’t getting good care with Delta Dental. I think the plan is very flawed.

Fantastic experience: Dr Jones and all of his staff are so lovely. I have the most sensitive teeth and I’m a nervous Nelly. Not once have I been in pain, Dr Jones is amazing so very happy. The dental hygienist is a genius too, I am usually jumping all the time with little electric shocks as my teeth are so sensitive and she didn’t shock me once, first time in my Life! For that to happen. Highly highly recommend.
