Fantastic experience: Everyone at this office is amazing. Christina is very sweet. The doctor’s great it’s always clean and they take really good care of you.
Positive experience: What a great place. I have had to get several things done and to say I had anxiety over it all would be an understatement. Everyone here is very nice and helped to keep me at ease. The dentist herself has wonderful chair side manners !! She knows what she is doing, is very quick and efficient. The communication is wonderful. So great that going back to finish up my treatment no longer gives me anxiety.
Negative experience: Parents BEWARE, This business stated on the call that they were accepting and were pediatric over the phone (I specifically asked if they were good with first time kids, and that my 4-year-old needed a filling). They scheduled me and told me they would add time to fix on the same day. We get there and they didn't have time to fix same time. BUT ALSO, THAT THE PARENT IS NOT ALLOWED TO BE IN THE ROOM WHILE THE KIDS ARE GETTING WORK DONE! they have a policy that parents are not allowed to be with their young kids when they are going to have major tooth repairs. As a parent you have to leave them. And if your kid cries or fusses you would have to stop and go to a pediatric dentist. While waiting on hold, their hold message said, "customer first" and "making every patient no matter the age comfortable". What a Joke (hypocritical) I told them I have no problem bringing my business here for the next 18 plus years the whole family, but I will not be told I have to leave the room with my underage children for any reason. They said we understand, I spoke to the Manager who was nice but made no effort to keep our business. This place is a joke and have no idea how to serve their customers and community. Please be aware of this facility and what they do to your kids while you are not looking. (I have never had anywhere tell me I cannot be with my extremely minor child).

Our parent-presence policy was explained before the appointment. Parents are welcome to stay with their children during exams, cleanings, and while we prepare the child for treatment. Once restorative treatment begins, we ask the parent to wait in the lobby. The child is never left alone; the dentist and dental assistant remain with the child throughout the procedure
We have found that many children are better able to focus and cooperate with the dental team using this approach, which often allows us to complete treatment more comfortably and successfully. If child unable to safely cooperate, we refer to pediatric dental specialist
We are a general dental practice that also provides dental care for children. and we have successfully cared for many families using this approach. We understand that this policy may not be comfortable for every parent, and we respect a family's decision to choose a practice with a different treatment philosophy.

Negative experience: scheduled a dentist appointment over the phone, then I received a text message that my appointment was scheduled for another person. I have never been to a dentist, and my teeth are terribly destroyed due to cavities, and tooth decay. I am in pain everyday, and when I found out this place took my insurance we made sure it was scheduled for 12pm tomorrow on July, 9th. thank you for giving my appointment to another patient, it really gives me hope that this appointment wasn't important.
Fantastic experience: Hands down the best dental treatment and experience ever. Dr. Kana and staff deserve and standing ovation. I am very satisfied with my surgery and experience. I was greeted with a warm smile and treated with care. I had a root canal and crown done within a couple hours I was in and out. I honestly didn't feel any pain or discomfort from the beginning of the procedure or now days later. I can't say enough I'm simply grateful and well satisfied. Thank you so much Dr. Kana and staff for making my experience one to remember...

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for a year now. Just recently had my wisdom teeth removed. It was a pain doing it but Dr. Sophia Elmuradi and Elisha both did such a great job and were very caring and made sure I was okay and comfortable through the entire procedure.

Kylie my Hygienist explained everything to me with the cleaning process and addressed any concerns I may have in a warm professional manner. Karla the assistant was also helpful with my xrays and taking my blood pressure. Dr. Elmuradi did a thorough exam. Everyone in the office was so very nice and welcoming. I would highly recommend! Fantastic experience: My first visit was really nice. I received the nicest ‘new patient’ promotion and it was so nice!! The waiting area is super clean and spacious. I love that, especially when you go to other places and you feel like you have to sit on top of someone. You won’t do that here! They keep everything so clean - even the bathroom, and you can tell a lot about a business just by how well they clean. The ENTIRE staff is some of the most kind and pleasurable people I have met here in Michigan. They really take the time to go over your care plan, and make your appointments in advance. The treatment is gentle, efficient and they are so patient with you. Honestly they are the best at what they do. State of the art equipment and quick appointments are an added touch! We are very satisfied here. My husband and I both enjoy Allenwood Dental. Book the appointment. You will be glad you did!

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Allenwood Dental, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel completely comfortable and welcome. The front desk team greeted me warmly, helped me with the paperwork, and clearly explained my insurance coverage and treatment costs upfront. The waiting area was spotless, modern, and calming, which helped ease any nerves I had before my appointment. My hygienist, Crystal, was incredibly gentle, thorough, and attentive. She took the time to explain each step of the cleaning process and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I’ve had cleanings at other offices but this one was detailed and personalized. My teeth have honestly never felt cleaner! Dr. Kana was equally impressive. They performed a complete examination and clearly explained what they were seeing on my X-rays. I never felt pressured into unnecessary treatments — instead, the doctor discussed all my options honestly and helped me understand what was most important for my dental health. Negative experience: Unsanitary and unsafe conditions. Staff was short and rude. Dr. Kana has no integrity and doesn't care about her patients. The office manager was no help addressing these issues and because she was frustrated because her and her staff were in the wrong she didn't call me back like the receptionist said she would and then just hung up when i followed back up with her.This office is unprofessional, rude and the conditions of the waiting room and treatment areas were awful.

Fantastic experience: I had not been to the dentist on 20 years. I hate the dentist. As you might expect I started having issues with my teeth, I needed a fair amount of work done. Dr. Elmundai was the best. She was kind, patient and made me feel comfortable. She told me what I needed done right away and what could wait. I had a root canal done and the procedure was painless and solved the main issue I was having. I will never go anywhere else. The staff was great as well. Billing broke everything down what I would owe with insurance and explained what my max was and once we reached that we could push the not as serious stuff til next year.

Negative experience: I came in for a routine cleaning and brought up my concerns that one of my teeth felt really rough. Dr. Kanas' first question to me was to ask if I was pregnant, because "pregnant women imagine things like this all the time." I should've left then and there. He was extremely rude, misogynistic, and made me feel like I was crazy. The receptionists also cancel and move appointments all the time--I don't think I had one appointment that was what originally was scheduled.

Fantastic experience: All the ladies are very nice, they helped with my toddler and the hygienist Stacy was awesome. I just feel bad I had another appointment and had to leave early so I wasn't able to see the dentist today. I'll for sure be back though I already have my 6 month cleaning scheduled.

Negative experience: DO NOT bring your child here for Pediatric Dentistry. The website has pediatric dentistry listed, making me think they specialize in it, which they do not. It is not a toddler friendly environment. The doctor barely opened my one year old’s mouth during our visit. And because of that, he completely missed that my son has severe lip tie. How could you miss that if you were doing your job? I do not recommend this dentist. Go see Dr Golnick!
Fantastic experience: Everyone is so professional and has great bed side manner. Dr Kona listened to any concerns and was very knowledgeable. Big shout out to crystal the hygienist she is so thorough which I really appreciate! I know when she’s doing my cleaning she’s not missing a spot! 10/10 would recommend
