Fantastic experience: I have been going to Family Johnson Dental for years. I went to Dr Denny's practice because I needed a cleaning and Johnson was fully booked. I'm switching over to Dr. Denny. They recommended treatments that Johnson NEVER did but should have for my receding gum line. My teeth are whiter now that I have ever had in my whole life thanks to my hygienist Trina. I didn’t know hygienist can whiten by clearing the biofilm and scaling. I don’t remember having that level of whiteness at Johnson. I had a great dental assistant and front desk person too. I am so upset to see that I haven’t been with this dentistry for the years that I was with Johnson. I’m glad I have found them now.

Fantastic experience: This review is based only on my first exam & cleaning with Dr. Denny & his staff, but I was extremely pleased with the experience. Very thorough exam using latest technology for digital imaging; Dr. Denny was able to point out to me areas of concern, how they can help and what I needed to do. Sheree (sp?), the hygienist, is super knowledgable & did a great job. I also must point out the notable lack of up-selling. :-) The entire staff was friendly & professional - highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Amazing dentist. Thing I like the most to see doesn’t try to upsell you. Completely painless, & he doesn’t mess around….you’re in and out. About half the price of my other Santa Barbara dentist also.

Negative experience: Nice dentist but unfortunately I received a crown from Denny Trevor and the crown was not properly made and now has to be removed and replaced. This was expensive and time consuming the first time and should have been caught on the xray but was somehow missed which two separate dentists have told me is pretty careless behavior. Just wanted to warn people and hopefully ensure this doesn't happen again.

Fantastic experience: I’m so glad I found this dentist office, I tried to book online but that didn’t work so I called the office and spoke to Miriam and she was so nice over the phone and helped me book my appointment . Once I showed up for my visit Miriam welcomed me and she had the best attitude from beginning to end , her charisma will win you over , I forgot the X-ray assistants name but she was very good and didn’t hurt me at all when placing the film which was a plus . Dr Trevor is truly a gem , he has a fun character that makes you forget you’re at the dentist . I was a bit concern because I was loyal to my other dentist office but they stopped taking insurance so when I looked for a new one this office had the best and with the most good reviews, and they deserve each good review because they have made my first experience amazing . Once I got home after my visit I had to tell my parents to switch over to this dentist office and I will most definitely recommend them with everyone. Thank you so much for an amazing work and treatment

Trina is above and beyond! She is extremely knowledgeable, kind, patient, attentive, and precise. I get a thorough cleaning but not a painful one, and her memory is next level! Cannot say enough good things. Dr. Denny and the receptionists are always super nice, and though I haven't interacted with them as much as with Trina, the vibes in this office are immaculate.
