Fantastic experience: From the front desk to the back exam room, I was most pleased with my visit today. The dentist and assistant were amazing, as was the insurance department. The front desk was very helpful and worked hard to work out my insurance.

Fantastic experience: The staff is amazing. Very caring and they take the time to make sure you are ok. I was having issues with getting numb and the staff finally found a way to help me and get it done. Fantastic experience: Had an emergency, and was given an exam and cleaning on the same day. They were very kind, and informative. Had to get cavities cleared (a couple off months after the emergency), and they delt with that swiftly. Thank you to the Doctor, and Ms. Marissa, Highly recommend.

Negative experience: My husband had a appointment scheduled for a tooth removal and both Saturday appointments were canceled. Hes in a lot of pain now THANKS FOR NOTHING PERLA DENTAL!!!!
Negative experience: Front staff at the Terrell location are....I can't even think of a word. I've been waiting over two months for an appointment. I've made several phone calls only to be told "I'm sorry, and we'll call you back." Only to never get a call back. I've even gone to the office once already to try and find out what the hold up was. The manager/supervisor was at lunch and would call me. Of course I never received a call. VA Community Care even called them only to find out the office hasn't even sent a request for services! Two months I've been waiting!! I seriously doubt the dentist is even aware of how horrible his front staff at the Terrell location is.
Negative experience: Front desk is extremely rude , not transparent in fees or services 1 hour before schedule appointment all of a sudden extreme fees added had to finance , but girls at front are extremely rude and hateful , when it came to fees and hidden cost there where all over it.getting this procedure done then looking for a professional office that don't pull shisty hidden pop up fees...
Negative experience: Terrible service, I had set an appointment for my wisdom tooth removal. Spent 3 1/2 hours just waiting. I had to ask for the medication and paperwork that was needed for pre surgery, and was told that my medication will be ready by the time I left. Afterwards, the pharmacy had informed me that they have not even received my prescription. I had to go back to Perla to ask them to place my prescription. I expected better especially if it’s a surgical procedure.

Fantastic experience: I only give 5 stars because I can't give more. Took me years to go to a dentist because of fear based off the last time I went plus fear of needles, blood, terrible gag reflex, some autism, etc. Now the ONLY place I'll go is Perla. And not just because my wife's name is Perla. Everyone there is awesome, caring, and beautiful in every way. I went in totally expecting to die. Or at the very least, have a total panic attack. And I did almost freak out once or twice. But a touch to the shoulder and some kind comforting words help a lot! They extracted multiple teeth and roots, hurt me, and left me drooling but now I trust them completely. And if I trust them....anyone can. Perla is the place to go.

Negative experience: Was scheduled for a braces consultation. Upon arriving the front desk girl was so sweet and personable. She got me all checked in so quickly & easily. The MA called me back quickly. She got my xrays also super sweet and personable (wish I got her name so I could give her the proper praise she deserves). She walked me to my exam room snd told me theyd be with me shortly. Thats where things went downhill. I sat and sat AND sat. Finally 30+ minutes later someone else comes in, confirms my name and info then explains the process and said the dentist would be in shortly. 30 more minutes passes and still nothing. Someone got seated in the exam room next to me and I heard that pt getting their consultation before me. Thats when I finally got up and told the MA that got my xrays that I had been sitting in that room for over an hour and finally had to go. She was apologetic and showed me the way out. The front desks girls were super apologetic as well. I work in an extremely busy office and have some patience for offices getting behind, but I gave more than enough tome and was extremely disappointed in the treatment I received today. Sadly I wont be returning, but I will give all the praise to the front desk and the MA that was so kind.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with my experience. My appointment was scheduled for 12:30 PM — all they did was take an X-ray, then left me sitting in the exam room until 1:28 PM with no updates, no communication, nothing. I finally decided to walk out. Patients are required to sign a “no-show/cancellation” notice, but the same respect should be shown to us. Our time is just as valuable, and we deserve to be seen in a timely and professional manner. This kind of disregard for patient time is unacceptable

Negative experience: Worst wisdom tooth removal ever. I only had the bottom right removed, I paid out of pocket. I also paid $500 for the gas, which had ran out 15 minutes into my 2 hour long procedure with no back up tanks and I was told that since I used it, I had to pay for the full $500. Which if I had known it was going to run out, I would have never opted for it. The lady that did the procedure was aggressive even though she was apologetic. When we asked the front desk about prorating the gas, they had asked their boss who was walking down the hallway with a plate of food. When they asked their boss, she interrupted them with, "I'm on lunch." Overall poor horrific experience.

Negative experience: I tried to get a tooth fixed before I lose my insurance, told the front desk staff specifically what I might need and how long I had and reaffirmed at every step there would be time. Day of appt comes and it takes an hour and a half past my appt time to see the Dr only for her to tell me there isn’t time. When I addressed it with the front desk she was condescending at best and the manager was even worse. Extremely disappointed.
Laura, I am very sorry that we disappointed you at your visit. We did make you multiple appointments that you did not show up for. When you did make it into the office for your appointment, it was six days before your insurance cancelled and there is no way that the lab can complete your case in that amount of time.
Negative experience: Initially when I set up my appointment I asked if I could select my dentist or would I be forced to see whichever dentist was available at my appointment time. I was told I could chose. However when I arrived I was told that Dr. Clark was not in and I would be seeing someone else. Well that seems like a "practice convenience" because if a patient is there, they know it's unlikely the patient will decline. In the VM message left the day prior to remind me of my appointment, there was NO mention that he would not be there and if the sorry excuse is they didn't know until the day of just b4 my appointment, that's a red flag. Then today I received a text that I have yet to set up appointment for a proposed antibiotic treatment that would have directly followed the procedure i had, for which I declined at time of service. Angela explained that it was a "default text". I explained to her the aforementioned and that I shouldn't have received it since I declined it. I further explained my text bill situation in which Angela replied "Anything else?" rather than "yes, I understand." Rude and inconsiderate.

Fantastic experience: Actually found a dentist that cares for the patients from start to finish had some teeth removed doctor actually set down with me discussing options and understanding what all I was needing and didn't try to push a bunch of crap on me cant wait to go back and get the rest of the work I am needing done been to a few dentist in the past she puts the other ones to shame never had any doctor make me feel like I mattered and cared the staff was awesome as well even after visit they had me laughing little great place to be be telling company we're I work we're to go and posted on Facebook there just great

Fantastic experience: First time going to the dentist in about 13 years. I went. Finally. And the professionalism and niceness the staff has treated me with cannot be understated. I’m not a dentist person and they took care of me. Just had some fillings done. It was easy as could be. Quick. Painless and affordable. My only regret is I took so long to go.

Positive experience: I have a special needs son whom they take very good care of. The staff is very friendly and thorough in their work practice. I’ve never had a complaint this far. He has been here since 2022.
