Hakim is my longtime Doctor, he corrected my smile, (after the volleyball mishap) and became a friend after years of keeping up on my dental stuff. Dr. Patel equally as skilled, AND a self proclaimed Superior being, is somewhat comical and the office entertainment!

Fantastic experience: I got my regular cleaning. It was fine the hygenist was friendly and everything in the office is brand new.

Fantastic experience: I had a teeth cleaning scheduled. I arrived and I was immediately escorted to the Exam room. The hygienist asked me if I had any allergies to medication as well as latex gloves. She read my file and asked me if I wanted to hold the suction , which I always do, and she proceeded to clean my teeth. She told me if there was any discomfort or pain and she needed to stop for any reason to let her know. She didn't hurt my mouth while trying to clean my teeth although she cleaned them nicely, she was not so aggressive to wear my teeth hurt when I came home. It was the first time that I had seen this particular hygienist and she did a great job. She was also very nice making it a nicer experience. While still in the exam room she scheduled my next cleaning gave me my bag of goods and I was able to leave without stopping at the front desk. The office is very efficiently run and Dentists and staff are great! Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I never thought I would get to a point where I didn’t dread going to the dentist, but here I am after starting treatment and care with Dr. Patel! Not only is he personable, he truly cares about our dental health and takes the time to explain why he’s doing or recommending something. The staff is also excellent and friendly, they provide reminders via phone and text for appointments, and everyone is always prepared and organized for my visits. My teenage son sees Dr. Hakim and is actually excited for his cleanings when they come up! Overall a really great dental team, I am glad we found them!

Since moving to the Bay Area some 20+ years ago, I visited many dentists, specialists for Implants and even a University Dental Clinic…. during my journey I never received good dental care…. Until I found Dr. Patel and his Team! Since approximately one and a half years I am in treatment with Dr. Patel. My ‘big project’ included: several implants in the lower and upper jaws, a sinus lift, some bone grafts… in short: a complete dental restoration. Fantastic experience: I've been going to this dental office for over three years now, and I can honestly say I love it. The whole team is friendly, organized, and professional. What really sealed the deal for me was my recent experience with Dr. Foroud. For over six years, I had a tooth that would give me pain and sensitivity, especially to hot and cold foods. I went to multiple dentists before this who all told me everything looked fine and it was "just sensitivity." But Dr. Foroud took the time to really investigate the issue. Using his expertise and some impressive technology, he discovered a small crack in the tooth that no one else had caught. He repaired it—and ever since, it’s been completely solid. No more pain, no more avoiding certain foods. I can't explain how happy that made me! The hygienists here (Rajdeep was my latest) are also incredible—gentle, caring, and never painful. At my previous dental office (which I went to for years before finding this one), cleanings were something I dreaded. Not anymore. Long story short, Dr. Foroud is amazing. He explained every step of the process, and my teeth have never felt better. Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for real care and lasting solutions.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I LOVE Dr. Foroud and his excellent staff! You can tell he loves his patients and what he does. He goes above and beyond to explain procedures and expenses to make sure you feel comfortable. He even personally texts with my husband who has a very busy work schedule to make sure he’s able to get him in for his procedures. He’s literally the ONLY dentist my husband has trusted, that’s why we continue to go to him even though he is out of our dental network. It’s definitely worth the extra money knowing that you are being treated by people who genuinely care about their patients.

Other than the routine cleanings, my most recent visits have been for a dental implant to replace an extracted molar. Dr Patel handled the entire process brilliantly, with the greatest skill and the latest technology. The process had several steps and every single one of them went off perfectly, thanks to Dr Patel's expertise and care. Just wanted to express my gratitude and say a huge THANK YOU to you and your staff Dr Patel. The entire dental implant process from start to finish went off so smoothly and efficiently and for the most part, it was quite painless. Honestly, I barely felt any pressure and didn't feel any discomfort whatsoever during the final procedure. It was quick and completely painless. Such a huge relief. That in itself should tell you something. In the beginning I was taken care of by Dr Hakim who worked his magic to get all my teeth back in good shape. In recent years I have been in the very capable and skillful hands of Dr Patel who uses the latest techniques and technology, including AI, which enables him to be proficient, quick and precise, makes the procedures as efficient and painless as possible and speeds up recovery with minimal after effects. Dr Patel explains things to me in great detail. It feels good to get a follow-up call the day after to find out if I’m doing okay. The entire staff are very courteous, friendly and welcoming. I have been going here for all my dental needs for over 15 years and have always been warmly welcomed as part of the family that Dr Hakim has raised and nurtured all these years. I can still remember feeling very nervous and overwhelmed at the amount of work that needed to be done on my teeth when I first came here. Dr Hakim was so kind, compassionate, professional, skillful and thorough. He explained everything to me so that I could understand easily and prepared me well for everything that needed to be done. My teeth were fixed in a couple of sittings and since then it's mostly been routine cleanings. A shout out and a big THANK YOU to the ENTIRE STAFF at San Ramon Dental Excellence, from the people at the reception desk, to the dental hygienists, to the doctors, for always being friendly, courteous, kind, cheerful, professional and skillful. And again, this time, i thought i was pulling the plastic off my peppermint lozenze, but in the process broke off a piece of my front tooth. The staff was welcoming, the office was clean, and Dr. Devian was knowledgeable and thorough in explaining my procedure. He was gentle during my cleaning, and the advanced technology made the process efficient. I highly recommend him for anyone in need of a skilled and trustworthy dentist.

Negative experience: Appointment six months ago for cleaning was terrible. New hygienist had no clue was she was doing and was unfamiliar with the equipment. Decided to give the office another opportunity for my business. Went back yesterday for my confirmed 8 am appointment and no one arrived to the office until 8:20 and they were confused. Something about some electronic service not telling them the right information. What the heck? They don’t look at their schedule each night before they leave, so they know what the next day will bring? Raj is an excellent hygienist if you can schedule with her. Though, the disorganized office is not really worth the aggravation.

He stuck with me throughout the process and when it was time for the procedure to get my veneers, I was completely thrilled with the results. I continue to go there for my routine visits. I was trying to minimize the visits to the least. When I went to San Ramon Dental and from the first appointment, I knew that Dr. Hakim was different from most of dentists that I dealt with. He does not only give the patient a detailed medical explanation along with medical options but he shares his personal experience and thoughts as well. My nerve system is really sensitive, usually gives me tough times from during and after root canal or such procedures. I felt comfortable with the treatment plan received. I was told in advance what to expect. Other than the medical service you get super friendly notifications before your appointment. The whole staff care about providing an amazing experience to the patient…Any patient, which is just great. This is one of the very few dental care facilities that you feel your role is to be treated and follow the doctor instructions. Fantastic experience: I did a dental implant and was nervous mostly because of past experience of friends with implants. Dr Patel was. Amazing. I am still amazed how straight he installed my implant in very short time without much inconvinice during or after the procedure. He cares for patients and prepares and studies the need for work on teeth before the appointment. After he explains what he did in detail.

I am usually in pain and discomfort throughout cleanings because of how sensitive my gums are but this was the most gentle and compassionate dental treatment I’ve ever experienced. The hygienist, Rajdeep Kaur, continued to check in on me and gave me space (physically and emotionally) to do jumping jacks to complete my stress response cycle once the scraping part was done. Fantastic experience: Dr. Hakim is an amazing dentist! My daughter saw multiple dentists over the last 2 years for pain on one side of her mouth. She’s been told it was everything from a sinus infection to wisdom teeth, but teeth in that area were otherwise fine. Dr. Hakim asked more questions and conducted a more thorough exam than other dentists, revealing an undiagnosed cavity just below the gum line that led to a now dead tooth/nerve. We finally have an answer and plan forward. I highly recommend Dr. Hakim.

I had two impacted wisdom teeth surgically and I was a little nervous about coming in to get my wisdom teeth out. Dr. Patel is an expert in the extraction of wisdom teeth, and he will ensure that you receive the best, safest care possible. The procedure went smoothly and recovery time was unproblematic. The procedure was clearly explained, as well as the financial obligations. All of the equipment used is very modern and up to date.

Recently, I had an implant procedure, I am a nervous person when it comes to getting anything done on my teeth. He and his team showed great patience with me. Can’t rave enough about his dexterity and knowledge, in my case I practically experienced how perfectly he implanted tooth in a tiny space.

When I moved from the area, I thought I'd use it as an opportunity to find a new dentist closer to my new home, so later in life I'd have less driving to do. In a couple of years, I had a chance to see 3 different dentists (all the same office). While they were all very nice, something was missing. I never felt the trust that I had with Dr. Hakim. I am so glad I realized that before something serious happened. Today I learned I'm headed for some substantial work and I couldn't be happier that Dr. Hakim is on my team. No matter what the cost is, nothing is worth having faith that your doctor/dentist is on your side, by your side.

He replaced 2 aging fillings and walked me through every step of the process in a very clear way. He was exceedingly aware of how I was feeling and very careful and precise. Dr.Foroud Hakim and the dental assistant, Nicole are very knowledgeable and explains everything you need to know before and during the procedures, truly caring and considerate. Hyginest Rajdeep is excellent, thorough, friendly and thoughtful. All the Staffs are very welcoming and friendly which makes cozy and comfortable environment. It's been 4 months I started invisalign for teeth alignment. So far, I am so satisfied for efficient visiting time and how ease it is as well as how meticulously it is planned. I become more care about dental health in general, I genuinely thank for all of them.

Fantastic experience: The staff—from the reception area to the hygienists—are all kind and efficient. Dr. Patel is friendly, knowledgeable, and actually listens to you as a patient (unlike most DDS’ from my past). This is the first experience I’ve had with a dental office where, upon completing the new patient form which says “Are you happy with your smile”, etc., they will actively refer to it, discuss it with you, and figure out the best options for you. It is clear that ahead of each visit, Dr. Patel has thoroughly brushed up on my records, thus heightening the level of care.
