Fantastic experience: Really liked this place, the front staff was personable and funny, while maintaining a very professional environment. I felt the tech who got me ready for the dentist check did what she could to calm my anxiety. The dentist was a very nice guy, and his conclusions made perfect sense to me and I understand the plan forward. I will note that while they are technically taking new patients, they are very busy due to being one of the only dental clinics that takes mainecare for adult patients. If you want to get an appt the best way to is to get a referral from another office or Dr. Extremely clean and comfortable environment in the exam rooms. Very happy I found this place.

Negative experience: I’m so much pain and they said my tooth is fine and couldn’t tell me what was wrong with it and we’re even giving me attitude when I asked for advice as to what to do they seemed clueless I am in pain

Fantastic experience: Yesterday was my 3rd visit and Dr Lee and her assistant was amazing.there was no pain, they were very friendly and explained everything very clearly. I'm very impressed. I'll be seeing them a few more times for another extraction and then some filling. And also the secretary I talked with was also wonderful! A++

Fantastic experience: My daughters and I've been patients at Waterville Community Dental Center for close to 20 years and they have always been extremely professional, friendly, efficient and informative. Even in these crazy times with the Corona Virus throwing everyone for a loop, they are taking the multitude of additional steps and guidelines in stride and making the patient still feel they are important and respected. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Everyone that I came into contact with was extremely polite and friendly. They talk to you and joke with you and make you feel very comfortable right from the start. Very professional and they seem genuinely concerned with your oral health. They explain everything they are about to do and then explain their “lingo” so you know exactly what is wrong, what needs to be fixed and what the game plan is. I would definitely recommend Waterville Community Dental.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful staffing from the front office to the hygienists. Incredible how we were taken care of immediately with a dental emergency and follow up appts. booked so quickly as well. We saw Dr. King today and she was lovely. We have a plan of action for my daughter’s teeth within the hour that we saw her.

Fantastic experience: My family has been going to WCDC for 13 years. I have 4 children, so that means A LOT of visits. The office personnel have always been top notch: kind, knowledgeable, and professional. We have been able to be fit right in for a dental emergency. And I was impressed with the outcome of that situation, as I assumed I was going to have to bring my son to a specialist for a broken tooth. Most of the hygienists have been great. Hope has always been amazing. My son had Melissa today, and he LOVED her. She had a wonderful personality, and he thought she was fun. I could have given 4 stars, because honestly, there have been 3 hygienists that we didn't love. But all of the other positive experiences in my opinion, made up for the couple sour grapes. One hygienist has been gone for a long time. 2 have been more recent. They were not super patient with my youngest who is not a big fan of the dentist. One of them actually chose to not work with him anymore. Fine by me! All in all, WCDC has been great to my family and I would recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: The phone system says "if you have an emergency press 2" but when I press 2 it says "we dont treat emergencies. Go to urgent care"

Fantastic experience: They got me in faster than anyone and at an affordable cost. The building was modern and professional. Dr. King and her assistants were very kind, considerate, and professional. Highly suggested!

Negative experience: Service and the quality of my exam, I felt , were amazing! That said - I have a disability that prevents me from driving and I rely on others to get from point A to B. I had asked the office staff - and it was the reason I was there (by phone) if they were taking new patients. I feel I got misled, since I need a dentist in my life but got told after arriving there that they didn’t take patients anymore! Very frustrating news to hear - when it was a special favor to be in Oakland after driving two hours from my home - so that’s four hours of my life gone to travel - and gas isn’t cheap.

Fantastic experience: It’s rare to find a dental office that treats low income patients (children) with dignity and respect the way Waterville Community Dental does. Dentists and dental assistants are knowledgeable and hardworking, front desk staff is friendly and responsive. Other dentists- take notice! If Maine had more places like this, our children would be stronger and healthier. Keep up the good work!

Fantastic experience: Both the doctor and my dental technician were so kind! They continuously made sure I was comfortable, in no pain & that I understood the procedure . They both worked together flawlessly & kept checking in with me throughout. I had very little/no pain ,because they were very thorough with initial preparation. But mostly they were funny ,kind &respected my time . This office always follows up to make sure that I have gotten back on a regular Dental schedule .For the first time in my adult life I'm getting proper dental service at regular intervals. They accept insurances that most don't so unfortunately they are a bit booked but I never have to wait when I get there and if there's any cancellations they always contact me and see if I want to come in early. Great job it is truly a Community Dental Center, thank you guys! Shout out to Maddie and Dr White for an exceptional experience for what is typically unpleasant lol Thank you !

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at WCDC for almost six years. I have the same hygienist, too. All of the staff, from the front desk personnel to the dentists, are phenomenal! I am fortunate to have private dental insurance, which they take. I drive over an hour to have them care for my teeth when I can see a dentist that is closer. This shows how awesome they are! Worth it!

She is professional, kind, and most importantly she is patient...I looked up the definition to see if it describes exactly what I mean. Here's the definition of patient: "able to accept or tolerate delays, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious." This is Dr. Kailee. Fantastic experience: I am overall very pleased with how our appt went. It was very informative, took the time to answer questions, showed trays, explained in details what needed to be done. Staff was super friendly. Especially with how difficult the dental and Healthcare system is, I was very happy to get some honest people. My only complaint is that they aren't taking new patients. But again, that goes back to little to no one wanting to take certain insurances and the lack of dentists. They already know I'll be a pain in the butt by continously calling to see if my daughter can become a patient.

Fantastic experience: My first time here with my kids. We switched from Kennebec Family Dentistry in Augusta because they were just terrible there. WCD is the best. They are so friendly. I didn't know such things existed in the dental world. They actually gave me the option to choose flouride for my kids and that has never happened before. I just can't get over how nice of an experience it was going there.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience today. First I had to push my appointment back 20 minutes because I was getting stuck at work until the time of my appointment and then I was in such a rush when I was there because I went during my break and work 20 minutes away. When I got there I was stuck behind a family that needed to get paperwork so it was taking longer than usual. The woman that was going to take one of the family members noticed that I was a bit stressed and took me back herself and gave me what I needed in 5 minutes. She was wonderful. Her name is Maddy. So much thanks to Maddy for her help today!

Negative experience: Horrible treatment and never ending scheduling problems! Wait 3 months for a tooth that needs to be pulled after 3 years of the office canceling appointments and needing to reschedule because it's office policy to see a hygienist before a dentist. The problem is the hygienist is not reliable at all (I've tried 3 different hygienist in the same office, same results with all) and has to reschedule appointments, but the receptionist tells me they don't have another appointment for 6 months!! 2 years later the appointment was canceled again by the office and we are told we can see a student hygienist, who is horrible and dropped tools on the floor and tried to place them in my son's mouth. Once we finally were seen by a dentist they can only fix one tooth at a time and gave me three appointments, the last one was a week ago and now the same tooth needs to be pulled because kailey Williams did not go deep enough to get the whole cavity and it is now an swollen and needs antibiotics! When scheduling the appointment to have the tooth pulled the receptionist said February!!! Magically one became available on Tuesday. It's been 3 years now, I don't see this changing anytime soon. After reading reviews it seems like the office only does this to mainecare patients.

Fantastic experience: That student already mastered extractions. ~30 min from needle to gauze. I needed no ice pack, no pain meds because there was minimal irritation during the extraction.
