Dr. Alford is a wonderful dentist who always does impeccable dentistry work that doesn't fall out and lasts a long time. She has a wonderful bedside manner too. Love this office!

Fantastic experience: Today I had work done on my left side of the mouth. Every time I come here from the receptionists , to the rest of the team they all treat me with respect and they are all superb. Chris is my favorite of all times hygienist and the more than outstanding Dr.Gabriela Alford and her assistant team are absolutely incredible . She works fast and her dexterity is to me unmatched in dentistry. I had to see many dentists throughout my life in five countries . I am 64 and I must say she proved to me over and over that she is way above all the rest . Every time I come I feel completely at home and at ease here . They never seem to have a difficult day . Total angels all of them .And I may add they never take your time for granted. I am so incredibly lucky to have her as my dental doctor that even if I move to another area in Florida I will no doubt travel any necessary miles to be under her care for ever because not only she is totally amazing but in an emergency she did fit me in on the day . She worked fast two hours that felt like 15 minutes . I cannot praise her enough.It was an amazing experience because they make sure that from the very first step in their office you are being taken care not in a fake way but in a real genuine way that it is impossible for you not to feel totally at ease . That is true professionalism. Best team in Orlando and probably in all Florida. This is a true review from a patient that had the pleasure of being assisted for more than 10 years by Dr Alford.

Fantastic experience: Nailed the x-ray on first try! I recently took my daughter into Dr. Alford for an emergency exam. Her and her team were so warm and welcoming! My daughter felt right at home despite her injury. Dr. Alford and team worked swiftly and efficiently. Everyone was focused on the task at hand which resulted in a beautiful, clear, and detailed x-ray on the first try! Dr. Alford’s exam was painless and professional as well as thorough. I felt so relieved having her examine my daughter. What a great dentist with great bedside manner! 10/10! Thank you Dr. Alford, Tanya, and team! Such a blessing to our family.

Fantastic experience: Highly efficient, knowledgeable, and professional practice! 5 starts is not enough! Amarah (hygienist) was thorough, gentle, and so smart; she immediately recognized that the pressure I felt in my upper jaw was from sinus inflammation. She explained things in a way that was scientific but easy to understand, and made so much sense. Highly, highly recommend! Update for my previous review: been coming here for six years and the quality service is still as strong as ever. Consistently an exceptional practice! Fully trust that I’m in the best hands. Positive experience: I would welcome the opportunity to continue to work with Dr. Alford. Dr.Alford is an amazing dentist. Really makes me feel comfortable and at ease. Very kind and caring. October 2025 Had an initial brief implant exam and consult with Dr. Matt Lasorsa. The experience wasn’t the best. I definitely a little felt uncomfortable, unnerved and the dental anxiety began to return . I’m sure he is a fine dentist, but I am unsure if I will return for the Tx plan follow up.

Fantastic experience: If you’re trying to figure out what dentist to go to, how many people can say their dentist actually teaches other dentists? Dr. Lasorsa does. I had my implant placed during one of his live surgery courses, and it was an incredible experience. Watching him teach while performing the procedure gave me a whole different level of confidence in his skill and expertise. The ENTIRE team was AMAZING and made me feel comfortable the whole time. It honestly felt like family. I’m really grateful for everything and couldn’t be happier with how it all went. Highly recommend Dr. Lasorsa.

Fantastic experience: The product (complete, permanent, upper and lower dental implants), the people, and the services I received from Chain Of Lakes Dentistry have been second to none since day one. Throughout all the very advanced technical services I received from them, their responses were immediate and “First Class “ in every respect. Communications between them and myself were always simple and exceptionally responsivet. They got over the humps quickly, every step of the way. Chain Of Lakes Dentistry has returned me back to my former status of being “The Leader Of The Pack.” That confidence in myself will continue to reign supreme at the time of my 82nd birthday in August of this year, as I continue to work at my own business 8-10 hours each day.

Dr. Alford is highly competent, painless, and efficient. She instills solid confidence in her patients. This practice is what you look for in Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Never had a bad experience here. All the staff are incredibly friendly and can get a cleaning done quickly with availability all throughout the week. Would highly recommend this dentist to anyone.

Negative experience: Ive been a patient at Chain of Lakes for at least 15 years, same insurance etc the whole time. I go in for my cleaning/xray today and leave with a $370 bill (my insurance had no co pay for those 15 years). When I asked about the charge, I was told that they were no longer in network. Therefore, I was going to have a charge. I was never notified either during the person-to-person tax exchange the three days leading up to my appointment when I had been reminded that there would be a 3% surcharge for credit card fees, Nor have they even had the courtesy to mention it a check in as I’ve been such a long time customer and this change had just taken place. The services I had today from the hygienist and dentist were absolutely satisfactory. The customer facing practices are problematic at best. I’m hoping they make the best decision and reimburse me my funds due to their failure to inform a patient.

Fantastic experience: Went to Chain of Lakes Family Dentistry after 10+ years away from a dentist's office. The staff is always so friendly and they are excellent at working with my sensitive gums. After a deep cleaning to catch things up I go in routinely now for cleanings and my teeth and gums have never felt better. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Delta dental is no longer in network with the office so we’re not able to go here anymore. I called the office and they directed me to my insurance. I asked them about submitting a predetermination or reaching out to my insurance for my out of network benefits but was told they’re not able to do so since they’re no longer in network. My insurance says otherwise and that they are absolutely able to call or submit the predetermination - they just don’t want to. I’ve canceled my upcoming appointments with them as the out of pocket cost will be about $100 for exam and X-rays and there’s been no effort on their part to keep us on as patients! Prior to this we had no issues with this office and loved coming here.

Negative experience: Six months ago I had my first cleaning with Chain of Lakes, and everything went well. I made an appointment for six months later (today). Yesterday, Chain of Lakes canceled because I didn't re-confirm the appointment. I don't have access to my phone while I'm at work, but that is besides the point. Canceling for a lack of re-confirmation is a shady practice. We agreed on an appointment date and time, and I held my end of the bargain. They did not. I went to the office at my appointment time today because I was worried that they would charge ME a cancellation fee even though THEY canceled. The office staff confirmed that she canceled the appointment and then told me that it was still open and that I could have it back. What? So you canceled it for the sake of canceling. If you didn't fill the spot, then what was the point of canceling it in the first place? That office needs to stop canceling based on re-confirmations and just stick to the original agreements. Thanks.

Positive experience: Dental Hygienists and Dentist have been great! They create a comfortable environment to get your teeth cleaned in! They also use up-to-date tools when examining and cleaning your teeth! Would definitely recommend to someone in need of a new dental office! And for once, the front desk is very sweet—full of bright, smiling individuals! The only suggestion (hence 4 stars) I would make is to notify the patient if the doctor will not be in for the cleaning. I pay a good amount of insurance for the doctor to examine my teeth. I was not informed of this until the cleaning had already begun. I trust the hygienist, but at the end of the day the Dentist should examine their patients.

I am thankfully reminded of this fantastic group of amazing prople every time I look in the mirror to brush my teeth. (twice a day) My smile has been completely restored and now I smile with pride. If you are on the fence about coming here, please don't make the mistake of calling around. You might be passing up a life changing experience. -------------------------- I could go on all day about how great this place is! The people that work here are beyond special. I was going to go with another dentist until I had just one conversation with Tanya. After my examination it was clear that the other place was going to do a bunch of unnecessary major dental work to my teeth without even doing a deep cleaning. From then on it is nothing but a pleasure every appointment. Dr Alford is fast and caring when it comes to major dental work. Teresa has went above and beyond throughout the entire process as well as Tanya. This would not be possible without them!

Positive experience: I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and started my cleaning on time. The dental hygienist was very polite and I felt she did a great job. After the cleaning, I waited just over 20 minutes for the dentist to show up to check my teeth. I had to forego the check because I was now going to be late for my next appointment. My time is just as important as that of the dentist. Laying in the chair for 20 minutes watching for the dentist is not acceptable.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend coming here enough, the entire team is kind and knowledgeable- and they were able to get me in for an emergency appointment! I have had negative dental experiences each time at other places until I came here. Very glad to have found their location and team!

Fantastic experience: Had my new patient consultation today with April (my hygienist) and Dr. Alford. Both were incredibly professional, courteous, and friendly! After my x-rays, Dr. Alford explained in detail what procedures I would need. April went over in detail the associated costs, after which I made an appointment for those, and also appointments for cleaning for both myself and my wife. Very warm and inviting reception area and professional staff as well!

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Chain of Lakes Dentistry and I was taken on short notice due to an old filling loosening and needing something done quickly. Even though I was fit in on short notice, I immediately felt welcome and taken care of. I met several support staff who were very competent and “human”. They had personalities and shared their history with the doctor and made me feel at home. Meeting Dr Alford reinforced my decision it be there as she was personable and very professional at the same time. From anesthesia to working on my damaged tooth, I was in good hands.
