Fantastic experience: From beginning to end I had a welcoming smiling reception. Empathic about breaking my tooth. Both hygienists were sweet and competent and efficient and the dentist was so informative. He explained that metal fillings collapse like coins that flattened on a rail bed. They expand and create the cracks. I bit a cherry pit and cracked my tooth and lost it. I am getting a porcelain crown now.

Fantastic experience: I feel comfortable visiting their office and am impressed with their Covid response. As usual, the staff and Dr Ellsworth we’re great.

Fantastic experience: Mom has dementia and other issues. It’s getting harder and harder to take her anywhere and I was concerned about making it through this appointment without incident. When the hygienist told me that she’d worked at a senior care facility for years, it completely changed my feeling about the visit. She was very understanding. Not sure when/if mom will get another cleaning but I’m very grateful for the care that she received this time

Negative experience: Office staff very rude! (Perhaps office manager should call me to resolve issue rather than telling me to call her!)

Positive experience: I had a crown that broke. The crown was from 2022, still under warranty. That’s fine. But I have been made to feel it was my fault with the constant question of “ do you grind your teeth at night?” And that I should consider a mouth guard. I do not grind my teeth at night and I think there would be evidence that I do. When flossing my tooth that had that crown on it always kept getting caught on the edge of it. It was a pain, but nothing I couldn’t navigate around. Perhaps THAT was the problem it split off. Loved my dental hygienist. My appointment was at 9:00 on the 24th of July.

Fantastic experience: I’m the son of a dentist admired by other dentists for his precision craftsmanship and chairside manner. After two visits for a cleaning and an involved crown replacement I say with confidence Dr. Ellsworth is clearly in Dad’s league—in a profession far advanced today given modern procedures and technology. I cannot recommend more highly Dr.Ellsworth and his cheerful and professional team. My wife and I are blessed having found him. Every minute of our two hour drive to his office from the U.P. is rewarded by his care.

Negative experience: Care was good. Staff was friendly. Problem with billing. They will tell you they take your insurance but won't tell you they are out of network for ALL insurances until you're stuck with a big bill. Cleaning, x-rays, and glue an OLD crown back on cost over $700

Fantastic experience: We are here in Cheboygan for one year. One of my Veneers on one of my front teeth cracked and came off. We called Harbor Pointe to see if we could get an appointment. They were very friendly and I got an appointment for the next morning. When we arrived we found everyone to be very welcoming and very friendly. I got right in even a bit early. I think that it took Dr. Ellsworth about an hour to re attach my tooth and actually better than before. I will recommend anyone to use this office for any Dental work. Elder Duane CV Gibbons
