Fantastic experience: NO STUDENTS / NEW STAFF / AMAZING STAFF! I have been going here for a very long time and it wasn't until the Dentist and hygienist that are there now that have made me feel safe comfy and in good hands! I have SUPER high Anxiety when it comes to the dentist and they did everything right they kept me soooo distracted in every way from Gas to tapping me to even keeping my mind away from the fact I was getting my front teeth out! Thank you front Desk crew for being so timely and Helpful! Thank you Mr. Gamble, DDS You are amazing at your job and I am so thankful that you are at Dental Clinics North! I recommend Children or High anxiety go here they will keep you calm and everything is at your pace! Go here if you need teeth work done!

Negative experience: If I could give no stars I would..Staff not only act as if they hate their job they treat their patients terrible. I do not recommend anyone attending this facility and most definitely not for your children. Dr. Pawlick and his dental assistant Karlie Reimann is insensitive and passive aggressive. DO BETTER.

Fantastic experience: People listen. My front teeth where black. I didn't think there was even a chance of redemption. The dentist worked his magic ! I was so happy I got to my car and cried. Ty DCN!!

Fantastic experience: Finally, that pesky abscessed tooth of mine has been yanked out. Dr. Mason and his trusty sidekick, Chris the dental assistant, treated me like royalty, making sure I was comfy and relaxed throughout the ordeal. Their professionalism was top-notch, and I was loving the chill vibes they brought to the room. Thanks a million to Lana Delany for being my chauffeur to Dental North Clinics in Harbor Springs, Michigan. The whole shebang was a breeze, and I'm stoked that my insurance covered everything.

Negative experience: Doctor here I got scared of the needle and he got mad and threw the needle on the plate thing, and when he was looking at my teeth he goes “someone has a fluoride problem “ rudely not going back.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience from the beginning. I went in as an emergency situation. I should have known when the dentists assistant insulted me about my teeth. It was more than a month before they would give me another appointment to remove some bad teeth. One of them had to be "surgically" removed and the dentist botched it. Not sure he is qualified for surgery. I bled for 2.5 days and got sick again I tried to get in all the next week to see the dentist but he was too busy and I was told to go to the emergency room by Ashley. Finally the dentist calls Thursday morning and tells me someone will call to set it up for me to come that day. Brad the receptionist called with an appointment for the next day. First he lied saying the dentist wouldn't't see me that day and then admitted he took it upon himself to change it to the next day. The bone where the tooth was surgically removed was exposed and the gum had recessed causing another infection. So I ended up worse than I started. They didn't care. They might be the only dentists who will see you in an emergency but I wouldn't have any work done there if I were you.

Negative experience: If you’re a veteran id stay away.

Fantastic experience: I got a wisdom tooth pulled today. Almost no pain. Great friendly staff. Plenty of appointment reminders. The whole process was done in under an hour. Best dental experience I've ever had.

Positive experience: I initially really loved this office. Every experience before the last few over one tooth had been a good one. I go in for normal cleanings with ease. I never wait long and am in and out quickly. They are always pleasant. The receptionists and hygienists really are super positive and caring. However, after a few repeat visits with a new Dentist there over a filling, I've come to have anxiety going here. He even recommended getting a silver filling because that would for sure work, after the first filling ended up having an issue and I still can't chew without pain (I've had all my silver fillings removed to be safer and this recommendation really threw me off.) He also gave me 6 shots to numb me my first visit and it didn't work, so I came back another day. I have been in 4 times over this same tooth which caused me no issues previously. :( I'm bummed I'm having to look for a new dentist in the area when no one takes my insurance except this office. Now I'm going elsewhere and having to pay $$$ to have my tooth fixed.

Fantastic experience: Best experience I've had in a long time. Very comfortable getting crown and two fillings. Almost fell asleep the first time

Negative experience: I had to wait almost a month to get in after an abscessed tooth sent me to the emergency room. After an exam and x-rays I was given an "emergency" appointment to have the tooth pulled. I showed up ten minutes early for my appointment and was told I did not have an appointment any longer because I had not verified my appointment. She told me they had called me twice and left two messages. I told her I did not get any messages. As it turns out, they were calling the wrong phone number - they had entered it into their computer with one number wrong. She never even said she was sorry. And now? I have to wait SIX MONTHS to have my broken tooth extracted. What in the world am I to do? I lost a day of work for this appointment, and have been on antibiotics for three weeks to ensure the infection would be cleared up for the extraction. So, now, seriously, what do I do? What a nightmare.

Fantastic experience: Everyone there is compassionate and friendly. They have a great system regarding appointments, verifying with texts. They really know what they are doing and they know your name.

Negative experience: I went in with infection pockets forming on my gums. They took some X-rays and found it had eaten the bone around one tooth and was almost to the roots of the tooth in front of it. They told me it was good it was draining and they recommended having it extracted. They scheduled it for the end of July (the soonest any Dental Clinics North could get me in, Petoskey, Cheboygan, Gaylord). This was the beginning of April. Come the end of April, I'm in the ER for excruciating pain that covered an entire side of my face and down my neck. They couldn't believe the dentist let me leave without putting me on antibiotics and scheduling an extraction ASAP. On antibiotics and pain killers, I called Aspen Dental in Gaylord. Saw me 3 days later, pulled the tooth the same day. Said the same thing ER did. I'm lucky the infection didn't kill me or spread to my brain/heart. Long story short, for basic tooth cleaning or non-emergencies, maybe go to these clinics. Nice people, but don't trust them with your life. I'll only go to Aspen Dental now. It's worth the extra hour drive for me.

Negative experience: I'll start off by saying that the dental hygienists and dental assistants were very kind and professional. It was a pleasure chatting with them during my visit. However, the dentist was a pompous jerk. He couldn't even be bothered to greet me. When he had questions regarding my symptoms or insurance, he asked the hygienist. Let me clarify: the dentist did not speak to me ONCE during my entire visit. I'm not sure if he treats all of his patients with such disregard or if it's just those of us who have medicaid for insurance. Regardless of the reasoning, I refuse to seek care here ever again. The experience has left a bad taste in my mouth for this establishment.

Negative experience: I am absolutely horrified by what I just experienced. Not only is it nearly impossible to get an appointment, half the time they will reschedule without even telling you. They give the wrong time so you end up waiting forever once you do get there. Then when you go in (my children) you are treated like crazy for not bring them in sooner Not only that but my son had tears streaming down his face as the RUDE nurse told him "sit still!!" And continued to shoved the x ray pieces into his mouth. Then when I asked him if he was okay she decided to get snappy at ME!? THEN SHE DECIDED TO ARGUE with me all the way out the doors, claiming she did nothing wrong. This place is disgusting. They treat my children awful, make them cry, then get mad at the parents when we speak up. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!

Fantastic experience: I have the worst fear and anxiety of any dentist but they are so caring and understanding and try to help you any way they can got me in at 8 am and are so wonderful I can not say a good enough review Ashley the beautiful girl I spoke to on the phone got me an emergency appt and the dentist she is so sweet and helpful seriously make you feel comfortable and understand the fears love and recommend thanks dental clinics north love you guys love Dr.V she's such a kind soul so caring and Ms Ashley you rock seriously love you both couldn't have done this without either of you

Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff! Made the kids cleanings quick and easy!

Negative experience: I had a tooth pulled. Which I told them they wouldnt be able to do. They said they could. Pulled my tooth may have caused nerve damage. They also left roots in my mouth. I had to go to three emergency rooms. Because I got an infection. The reason they gave me antibiotics when they pulled the tooth. My mouth had a bad infection. Not only this but now I can barely close my mouth. They said its the oral surgeons responsibility now. The one I cant get into September and have never seen. They wont even make me an appointment to look at my mouth. Worst dental place ever. They don't care. I have to give one star to post this. They deserve a negative 100.

Negative experience: Everytime i scheduled my kid to go there they always called to reschedule. Therefore I found a dentist that would actually keep the appointment.

Negative experience: My husband was getting his tooth filled. They gave him too much novacaine that they almost called an ambulance for him. His heart rate went up, he was pale, they gave him oxygen, and he was throwing up. I went there for years and they were rough on my teeth. I went to a new dentist, my new dentist was shocked how bad the fillings were and they didn't do great job. I hated they used grey fillings on my kiddos. Their new dentist uses white and treat my children way better

Negative experience: I am furious at Dental Clinics North who charged me $650 to put a metal filling on my kids milk teeth. The work they did has fractured and now there is infection under the filling. They recommended several procedures that we now find out were not necessary. We have come to a new dentist and they are shocked at the damage that was done to our little boy. This is not simply a case of he said she said, the new dentist is showing us proof in the xrays and you can see the infection with a regular camera. I am furious!!!

Fantastic experience: Couples weeks back my wisdoms teeth were hurting, and I had no other options that were affordable to me. I decided to call Dental clinics north because I use to go there in the past. I was curious if they’d be able to take my teeth out. Low and behold they got me set up for an appointment within two weeks.(after they checked them) Today I got my teeth pulled, everyone was super nice. They were very professional and very understanding with the person (my best friend) I brought with me. Thank you for all that you guys have done for me. Great staff!

Fantastic experience: I always receive excellent service and kindness from the dental assistants when I visit Dental Clinics North. The dental assistants always remember who I am even when I haven't been to see them in a long time. As a patient, this is one of the most valuable characteristics that I hope to experiemce from doctors and nurses when i'm in need of any sort of medical services. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at my appointment today... The nurse was the best... I was extremely comfortable and the doctor did a really good fast job doing my impressions... I was extremely impressed by both my nurse and doctor... It feels really good to be remembered from previous visit... Thumbs up all the way around but especially to my nurse... Courteous, respectful and informative... I just picked up my dentures today... I had the same awesome nurse... She remembered me which was awesome and she was really just a breath of fresh air and really brightened up my day... The dentist was very awesome... He made sure my dentures fit and was very informative on everything I needed to know from wearing them to cleaning them and taking care of them... I would definitely recommend them to others... Excellent, informative, dentistry...

Negative experience: Dental hygienist and doctor were very nice, and made sure I was comfortable at a new clinic. Unfortunately that's all I can say for having 2 cavities filled. My gum is bruised from them using some kind of metal clamp on my mouth during the fillings. Then realized they were adhered to fillings and had to really use some force to get them off, which led to heaving to reshape my filling after. My pain level is still a 4 after almost 48 hours because of this. I have sensitivity to cold and hot (which was not there before this was done). If I eat anything that isn't a mush consistency I definitely feel uncomfortable to put it nicely. Never again will I have anything more than a cleaning done with them. It is worth paying out of pocket or going out of town.

My cleaning was painless, and the hygienist talked me through it all to keep me comfortable, she was so great! I'm honestly not scared to go back in six months! Thanks!

Fantastic experience: No one likes the dentist, however walking into Dental Clinics North, put me somewhat at ease. Welcoming environment and helpful friendly front desk staff is what I encountered. Once I went back for my cleaning the dental assistants were really nice and spoke professional towards me and children I overheard next to me. No one likes going to the dentist, but you won't mind this one !
