Fantastic experience: Today my 12 year old daughter had an appointment with Hollister Smiles Dental. She was very nervous about having to have her teeth looked at for several days before the appointment, and was worried about having her teeth pulled if needed. My daughter was having some pain around her gums before going into the dentist. The staff were very friendly, patient, and professional. They were able to answer all the questions I had concerning my daughter’s dental health. My daughter was very happy and relieved after her examination and cleaning. Fantastic experience: I just moved here from Texas and was very nervous finding a new dentist, especially one with really good hygienist since they are really the most important part of a dentist office. So I looked at reviews on Google and checked my insurance also. I found Hollister Smiles which had great reviews. So I setup an appointment which they are so busy wasn't gonna be until June, they offered me to be on a cancelation list which I accepted. Well a couple days later they called and said they had an appointment the next morning. I showed up and the inside was very nice and clean, the lady at the front greeted me and said they would be right with me. A few minutes later, the hygienist came to get me and did this cool xray machine and then normal xrays. The xray machine where you stand up and it goes around your head is super cool and really allows the dentist to show you while explaining what she is concerned about. The hygienist was amazing!!! She was very caring, told me the things I could work on to make my mouth healthier without making me feel bad about myself. Also she made a few suggestions and gave reasons to why she preferred this over that ect which I really appreciated also. Then to the most important part, I have very bad anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, she was very thorough but also gentle and quick. These are all things that allow me to go to the dentist to get my cleanings on a regular basis. I feel the more comfortable I am and the quicker it is, makes me not avoid going when I should and getting preventive maintenance rather than being in pain and needing the actual dentist to their part. She kept checking on me l, most likely cause I think she could tell I was really nervous but as we got into it the cleaning I was able to relax enough and settle down a little. I never felt she was judging my lack of care for myself and did feel like she just wanted me to have a healthy mouth. Now I truly understand why they were booked a month an a half out and can appreciate their willingness to accommodate me needing a sooner appointment since I moved from Texas right before I was supposed to go to the dentist for yk regular cleaning and then not having insurance until recently, I was almost a full year since my last cleaning. I already made my next appointment and feel great about going back. As someone who has a hard time going to the dr period especially the dentist I highly recommend these wonderful people. Also the lady at the front was super helpful even beofre my appointment and making sure I was covered since I wasn't even sure about my new insurance I just got a fee weeks ago. She definitely when above and beyond for me, so I appreciate her also, plus she just sounds super nice on the phone likes she likes her job which is also important when calling some where to make an appointment. You always want the people working there to appreciate what they do and I felt everyone here does.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming which really helped to ease my anxiety. The doctor was also very informative and she made me feel like a regular even though it was my first time. Also, the girl running the x-ray machine was super quick which helped big time as the machine is sometimes uncomfortable. Overall great experience, would highly recommend.
