Fantastic experience: The best dentist office i've ever been to. t They're kind considerate informative. Very reasonably priced and just all around a great dentist office.

Negative experience: I have been going here for a few years now, and unfortunately, my experience with their cancellation policy has left me very disappointed. I understand the need for a cancellation policy, especially when appointments are in high demand. However, requiring 24 hours’ notice with essentially no flexibility feels unnecessarily strict. Unexpected emergencies and health issues happen, and I believe there should be some discretion for an occasional situation—particularly when someone has otherwise been a long-term, reliable patient. I could understand a strict policy for repeated last-minute cancellations, but treating an isolated emergency the same way feels like a lack of understanding and compassion. Unfortunately, because of my insurance, I do not have another dental provider I can switch to, which means this situation may now leave me without access to dental care. That is especially disappointing from a healthcare provider. I understand that policies and business costs matter, but I also believe healthcare should involve some degree of compassion and understanding when patients are dealing with unexpected circumstances. I have been a patient here for years, and I’m sad that this situation and a lack of flexibility ultimately ended my ability to receive care there.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first appointment at Androscoggin Dental group. Being a New patient is always nerve-racking. However, I have to say that it was really nice going in and having a fairly quick check-in by Tina and having thorough New Patient imaging done by Melissa. Melissa gave me good vibes an energy and was so kind to me. Dr Terry then came in and did her part and gave such reassurance on issues that have been neglected prior to becoming a patient, due to trouble getting into a dental office due to insurance. I can now rest Easy by not having any more nightmares about losing my teeth lol. I was on the cancellation list because my original new client appointment was in October but this office sends out texts all the time about cancellations and I was luckily able to get in fairly quickly. And then it just happened that they had a cancellation for a cleaning same week and so I was able to get in again for a cleaning. Was great to be listened to and great to have a treatment plan in place. They definitely took the time it made me feel like a human rather than just a number. I saw Dr. Terry today. Shout out to her, Melissa and Tina.

I had the initial impression I was going in for the first of two visits for the setting of a crown would you it would’ve been the first major mouth thing I would have done with the exception of extractions, but Dr. Terry looked in my mouth and she said Gordie all it is is a bad filling. That’s gonna be nothing. You don’t know the relief. I felt Dr. Terry’s fantastic.

When I went to the appointment they didn’t have me in the schedule, it was a mixup but they automatically took me in cause they had a cancellation. The whole staff is very welcoming and the clinicians are very thorough.

Fantastic experience: My lower rear molar cracked on Saturday. I went to the office on Monday. I got an appointment with Dr. Terry for next day (today). She removed the broken piece of my tooth and put in a temporary filling, all with virtually no pain. Follow up is required but I'm thrilled with the outcome so far. Dr. Terry was competent, professional, and gentle. I couldn't have gotten better service.

Fantastic experience: I love how nice the dental assistance and Doctor is I appreciate them taking the time to make us feel comfortable and are patient with my son. One of the women always remembers my name in the back the hygienist we’ve spoken about the cat and dog videos and she’s been so nice and calming. I really appreciate the energy there.

Negative experience: Please train your receptionists properly. I called 1-2 months ago to see whether the practice was accepting new patients, to which I was advised they were and that I only needed a referral. I received the aforementioned referral for periodontal care from my general dentist. When I called in again and described the dental work I needed a consult for (very clearly periodontal care, should one have rudimentary knowledge of dentistry and/or dental specialties) the receptionist proceeds to essentially argue with and talk over me, stating "they didn't help with that kind of service." I continued to explain the care I needed a consult for, after which she puts me on a nearly 10 minute hold, only to come back and agree with me. I presume she has zero knowledge of dentistry (which is perplexing given she works for a dentist office) and had to go ask someone what kind of services the practice offers. To add insult to injury, she states that in addition to the referral, I need to have my general dentist send over X-rays and a perio chart, which the 1st receptionist failed to mention thus further delaying my periodontal work. Honestly, I'd almost rather go anywhere else at this point even though this practice is the only periodontist in Lewiston.

Fantastic experience: I’ve gone to this practice for many years and am always pleased with the services and friendly staff. Robert is my current hygienist and he has been great. Tina at the front desk is always helpful!

Fantastic experience: EDIT: (BEWARE If they refer you to a surgeon they DO NOT request any imaging from them they take new ones you will be billed for. MAKE SURE YOU ASK IF YOUR INSURANCE COVERS! The five stars is for Dr. Terry....they have been an absolute life saver when all was thought to be lost they saved and corrected the issues i was having. Coming from a scarred background with "butcher" dentistry...this is pain free a proverbial walk in the park.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Androscoggin dental group! I just had my last appointment today after about a year of having work done. I had a lot of work that needed done. Dr. Terry was informative, kind, and best of all super mindful of my anxiety and comfort levels. She always made sure to remind me to let her know if I needed anything- even as simple as a break. I had most of my work done while pregnant, which Dr Terry and the assistants were always very careful of while providing care. I obviously really appreciated that, and all the other care I received this past year. I always felt my concerns about my dental health were taken seriously. By the end of my work being done my anxiety was almost completely gone and it’s all thanks to the staff at ADG. I can’t say enough good things. Thank you all!

After, the appointment the dentist and dental assistant explained everything that would happen moving forward and what to expect. Answering any question and/or concerns I had. Fantastic experience: I needed to see the dentist to help me figure out what was causing an awful tooth ache. The staff were patient as was the dentist. She understood it was my trigeminal neuralgia that had flared. I appreciate them for fitting me in.

Negative experience: My husband went here for the first time this week after a crown from our previous dentist fell out. I also had a crown from our previous dentist fall out, so it was clear to both of us it was time to move on. Androscoggin Dental told him his crown fell out because he didn't take care of it. What?!? He brushes and flosses twice a day, and two much older crowns are just fine! Covering for another dentist by lying and shaming a patient this way is inappropriate. Needless to say he won't be going back. My husband, "I brush and floss twice a day. What else am I supposed to do to care for a crown? Take it on dinner dates?" LOL

Fantastic experience: From day one my experience with Androscoggin Dental Group has been great. The folks here are so nice and work hard to coordinate appointments and keep me posted on the financial side. They make it easy to maintain a healthy smile.

I mean this as a genuine compliment, but I felt like I was at my local dentist in the 1980s and 90s when patient care was top priority and I was truly taken care of. Fantastic experience: I would give more stars if I could, they are the most pleasant kind people I've ever been to as far as Dr./ Dentist, office. They all smiles and greet you with kindness and when your in pain that always helps ,they got me in and treated very quickly, and for that I can't thank them enough, I'm looking forward of having all my dental needs done with them , I recommend them a 100%

Negative experience: This place used to be amazing when Taylor, the hygienist, and Dr. C worked here. Now, since the two have left, they are absolutely horrendous. They call you up threatening court for owing 35$, which by the way should not have even been charged because I canceled my appt in time to not have to pay a cancelation fee so even then they didn't follow their own policy, leaving nasty voicemails on your phone. Dr. Terry does not really explain much, she looked at my teeth, confirmed I had two broken and then walked out of the room just like she did with my daughter. Stated my daughter needed 4 fillings and asked "wanna split up the fillings or do them all at once" and then left the room. Then when asking the hygienist questions she starts an argument with me. When you go up front to ask questions and get clarification, Tina gets nasty with you. They tell you they will provide you with info and then never do it. They have double standards. Refused me care for not wanting to pay 280$ out of pocket for a rinse I have already been using for two years, but my daughter also has my condition and they had no issues with doing her care and did not require her to use the same rinses they want me to pay out of pocket for. How does that make any sense? I do not recommend this place at all now that Dr. C isn't here. It's like the standard of care drastically dropped since he left. How are you going to refuse helping to fix someone's broken teeth when that's what my appt was for in the first place? ALL OF YOU ARE AN ABSOLUTE JOKE. Don't go here if you want good quality care.

Positive experience: I went to this office for a dental cleaning. Everyone was pleasant. I was taken on time. Robert, hygienist, was very nice and had a lot of experience. I would recommend based on this experience.

Fantastic experience: Everytime I've come with myself and my daughter (both of us are patients) I've been more than happy. In probably 12-15 times we've always left happy and treated kindly. You guys have nothing to worry about, you do a great job :)

Fantastic experience: I brought my 13yo grandson to Androscoggin Dental yesterday to have his teeth checked and cleaned. The hygienist was very nice and professional. Our check-in and check-out process went well also! No complaints with service at all.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience today.Went because I had a tooth that That was bothering me They took a look at it this morning It needed a filling And because there was a cancellation I was able to have my filling done in the afternoon didn't have to wait for other day. My appointment was quick.I didn't have to wait long in the waiting room . Everyone was very nice and pleasant.

Negative experience: EDIT AT THE BOTTOM I chose this office based off their reviews and I’m so glad I did. I had my first appointment yesterday and hadn’t received dental care since I was a teen. They were understanding, applauded my home care for my teeth, were gentle and understanding with some difficult circumstances I’m in, and were very informative the whole time. This was just for my exam, I’ll be going back next week for cleaning and fillings and hope my experiences continue to be this good! Edit: my experiences unfortunately did not continue to be that good. They are disorganized - rescheduling or cancelling my appointment every single time I had come in. To rescheduling my appointment this month until this time next year because they only have one hygienist on the team - which begs the question, why???!
