Fantastic experience: Shannon is the reason I found Joy Dental and I am so glad I did. The staff is always welcoming and professional and calms the anxiety that seems to build up whenever a service is due. My latest visit was due to a lost crown that could not be repaired. Extraction was required by an oral surgeon; however, the earliest available appointment was two months away. Fortunately, I was able to get in three days later due to a cancellation and the extraction performed. Heavy lies the head that wears the crown.

I needed a procedure done that my insurance doesn’t cover and Stacey looked into it for me and found me several solutions so I didn’t have to pay thousands of dollars. Over all great dental office!

Fantastic experience: I don’t typically leave reviews but, I called Joy Dentistry for an exam to check my two molars in which the fillings have fallen out. I haven’t been to the dentist in over 10 years and they got me in the next day as a new patient. My appointment was at 1 and I was out of there with two new fillings in 30 minutes. Everyone I had interaction with were extremely friendly and professional. They were also aware that I had no insurance and were conscientious of that and were up front with pricing throughout the whole process. While I was checking out, the women at the front desk were very helpful in giving me information on insurance options for me to check out. Absolutely pleasant experience and would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I have found everyone there to be incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. For years, I struggled with a real fear of going to the dentist, but for the first time in a very long time, I’m actually starting to feel comfortable during my visits. They are gentle, patient, and very considerate, and each appointment has gotten a little easier because of the care they show. I would highly recommend this office to anyone, especially those who feel nervous or anxious about dental visits. They truly go out of their way to make patients feel comfortable and cared for.

Fantastic experience: My hygienist, I think her name is Stacy, is amazing. I went in there after going my whole life never going to the dentist because of dental anxiety over tooth pain I've always had, and she calmed me down so fast. She was very non judgemental and explained every step of the process, even showing me videos so I knew what she was doing before she did it. She even offered to numb my gums for me to help me relax while she was doing measurements and didn't make me feel bad for accepting it. I'm so happy I started going here! My seven year old also had his first dentist appointment with Jen and she was just as amazing! She made him feel so comfortable and he said he had so much fun with her. Ive already been recommending everybody to come here.

Fantastic experience: Stacey, my hygienist, is the best! She is thorough, meticulous and gentle with her technique. Although cleaning teeth is not something people normally look forward to, with Stacey, I feel completely safe to have my 3-time per year of teeth cleaning! I can see the difference after each visit! In my 30+ years of experiences, I can testify that Stacey is a world- class hygienists, she is thorough with the cleaning, attentive to her customer's comfort level during the process, and very personal, and she communicates her finding and concern with the doctor. Last year, I had an emergency, one of my crowns fell out during my cruise vacation, the new doctor ( Dr Oh?) took me in right away after I returned, Dr Oh examined and explained the problem to me, and replaced it with a more fitting, gold crown since then I have no issue with that tooth. His knowledge and experience speak volumes. All the office staff are always very pleasant and attentive to my inquiries. They are extremely helpful with my insurance claims and payments; in today's environment, that type of service is both specialized and hard to find. Last but not the least, the office is always inviting, state-of-the-art equipment, and the restroom is always clean and well stocked. I'm so pleased with Joy dentistry and I'm sure you would too.

She explained everything before she did it and continually asked if I was comfortable or did I have any questions. Both Stacey and Dr. Oh listened to what I hoped to accomplish and assured me that we could work together to achieve that. I am so happy I took my son’s recommendation and became a patient at Joy Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: I was very anxious and embarrassed to go in for my appointment and have them see how horrible my teeth were after a lifetime of not having dental insurance, but they made me feel very comfortable and worked with me to get the most out of my insurance premium in the time that I had to use it. Dr Oh and Monica were wonderful, as were the young ladies at the front desk.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit at Joy dentistry on Strawberry Avenue in Lewiston! Everyone was very pleasant from the time I checked in until the time I checked out. Jennifer was my dental hygienist. She was very personable very friendly and put me at ease immediately the dentist came in checked my teeth. He is well was very friendly and encouraging praising what good care I took care of my teeth! Definitely would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I have to monitor the tooth,if it gets worse I can call back.Its difficult dealing with the pain,but I'm trying to get though this in a pleasant Mannor.Hope it will heal on its own.
