Fantastic experience: Angela and staff were great as expected.

Negative experience: Very bad experience. The front office staff and the dentists. They are like Car Salesman from the beginning they try to sell you Teeth Whitening, Braces and even $18 Toothpaste. I went in for a Ck up and Cleaning only. I will never go back. All to Greedy.

My mouth is honestly a mess, and she has been taking the time to explain everything and help me find the best treatment options for my situation. Jessica was my hygienist and she did my cleaning perfectly. She was amazing — absolutely no pain at all! If you need a cleaning, definitely request your appointment with her, you will not regret it. As someone who is extremely afraid of dentists, this has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. No pain, fast appointments, friendly staff, and they offer a lot of payment options. Negative experience: Got scheduled for an appointment over the phone for a cleaning. Got there, spent 15 minutes or so filling out the new patient paperwork, and when they call me back they said, so you’re here to talk about getting Invisalign? I let them know that this was scheduled for a general cleaning and to establish dental care in Palm coast, but they were not able to accommodate me or guarantee me a cleaning date.

Fantastic experience: Staff was very courteous and Dentist was very knowledgeable. I am waiting for copies of my X-rays that have t been sent to me yet. I would go back again if ever needed a Dentist in Flagler.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Old Kings Dental is so friendly and kind. My hygienist Elizabeth always let me know what was happening during my exam, X-rays, cleaning and dental hygiene recommendations to continue at home. My dentist Dr. Muneer was great. She kept checking on my comfort level during a small filling. The office also contacted my insurance company and explained to me what my cost would be prior to procedures. I highly recommend this practice.

Negative experience: I visited as a private-pay patient prepared to pay the full estimated fee. I was asked to sign a financial form that didn’t completely apply to my situation, and when I hesitated, I was told I was “not a good fit.” A simple clarification that the insurance section didn’t apply to me, and that it was a standard form, would have resolved it, but instead I experienced poor and rigid communication and tone and chose to seek care elsewhere.

Negative experience: THEY LIED just to make money and I have proof! They lied to me about needing 4 fillings!!!! I thought it was strange because I have excellent teeth and wanted another opinion. I went for a second opinion and my regular dentist in Ormond Beach and I have no cavities!!!! My dentist office in Ormond explained these larger dentist are paid to find things wrong to make money. I’ve heard this before. Please look for a small reputable dentist that is honest. Again just do your homework. Thanks so much

Fantastic experience: The staff was very friendly and efficient. The dental hygienist was very very good and did not hurt me. She was personal and friendly and knew how to make me feel relaxed. She played music and dimmed the lights to create a relaxed atmosphere. The doctor examined me and did not do any unnecessary work. They were top notch and efficient in all aspects of my visit.

Negative experience: At my visit , that I cancelled while there, I've decided to use Corbin dental when at our summer home in N.C.and have them do the partial they recommended that will include the repair work I tried to get done while at your office. Unfortunately the dentist refused to see me without an X-ray. It was such an easy fix I did it myself. I would have had the X-ray done had she took the time to visually inspect the tooth and talk with me.

Negative experience: At first, my family of 4 were extremely excited to find this dentist and the staff were so pleasant. After our first visit, all went well until we received invoices for the visits that they told us were covered under insurance. They clearly do not understand how to code the visits correctly since one child was covered and the other not! After multiple conversations they told us we are responsible for fighting the insurance company even though they made the mistake. After continued phone calls, we were then sent to collections. If you have insurance, make sure the staff confirms your coverage correctly prior to treatment.

Negative experience: I have been to many dentists in my life and no one has taken as many X-rays as they did - it was ridiculous. They didn’t even protect my core from the radiation with the protective apron. They then proceeded to try to sell me things I did not want - Invisalign, veneers, sealants, etc… told my husband he has severe periodontal disease that they will happily treat for $1000. He was just at the dentist 6 months ago (a different dentist) and every six months before that. At no time has he ever been told this. We plan to get a second opinion from his old dentist. I’m not saying they are wrong, but I would caution people to question something that just doesn’t sound right. If our old dentists disagree with them, we will definitely be looking for a new dental practice.

Fantastic experience: As someone with dental anxiety I was nervous but the entire staff made me feel comfortable right away. They were kind, patient, and explained everything in detail including payment options. The calm welcoming environment made a big difference. Highly recommend especially for anyone who’s anxious about the dentist.

This is a top shelf dental care operation and I know as I sold dental insurance for years in Seattle, WA. 5. Even the Keurig coffèe is great! Bravo OKDC !

Negative experience: Ok so at first I thought this was a ok dentist but then I got a call saying I owed more money and had 30 days to pay.. ok paid that and couldn’t afford to get all the dental work they suggested so I put it off seems I wasn’t feeling pain or anything. Fast forward 8 months and it’s time for my cleaning so I have a appointment but couldn’t make it due to being sick and was given a attitude and talked to like I’m a child, which I didn’t like so I found elsewhere to go. I go today and this new place says I didn’t have 6 cavities like old king said that I only have 1….and the one is so small. I think old kings dental just wants money so I won’t return or recommend them at all. Old kings dental wanted over $1000 but the place I just left earlier got under $200 for X-rays, cleaning, check up and filling. Also the way the owner responds to the reviews on here speaks volumes of this place

I first went in for my cleaning/x-rays with Elizabeth and she is amazing!!! She is thorough, knowledgeable and kind! Then I met with Dr. Simpson for a filling and to help me with my enamel problem on my front teeth. WOW!!! What a difference! He is not only a doctor but an artist. I wish I would have gone years ago! Fantastic experience: By far the best dentist office I have ever been to. The office itself is so clean and so nice. My dental hygienist Angela was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly kind and did such a great job on my teeth. They also did everything they could to help me save money because I don’t have insurance. They were even willing to give me extra time during my cleaning because my wedding is in a couple of weeks. Lastly, everyone at the front desk was lovely. Overall, a 10 out of 10 experience I cannot recommend them enough! I wish I could put more than five stars!

Negative experience: It has been a month since my last Invisalign appointment at “Dr” Karla Estrada clinic with Old Kings Dental. I’m frustrated that I made a HUGE terrible eight month mistake by choosing her and her clinic for Invisalign braces treatment! I initially chose her clinic for my regular dental cleaning checkups. I saw that they offer an Invisalign treatment program and please do not believe the nice pictures and writing on their walls about it! I was approved for the $5000 treatment through the finance company they use. I had no idea that this decision would cost me eight months of frustration, discomfort, pain, mental anguish, and continued monetary loss. I’m writing this so it may help someone else on their dental needs! I highly recommend going to an orthodontist whether in Jacksonville, Orlando, or wherever that may be. I bought myself Invisalign back in 2016 and my teeth had shifted to where it is discomforting. My left and right lateral incisor had shifted causing others to move being that my teeth are close together (however, at the end of my previous treatment with the first doctor my teeth were straight and beautiful, I just couldn’t get a permanent bar there). When “Dr.” Estrada initially told me it would only take two months to complete I went with it cause I thought it would. Besides, I was already committed and had made my first payment, that was dumb on my part! After the first month I knew I made a incredibly bad choice! I tried to explain that two months wasn’t enough time! Some front office staff said that my teeth are difficult and complicated! That’s what braces are for to make your teeth straight! A concept that “Dr.” Estrada either doesn’t grasp or care! She did offer a permanent upper metal lingual bar, however, she said where ever my teeth are at the end, she can mold it to them! So she ended up putting the metal bar on my crooked teeth! She did three refinements only to my frustrated requests. She did not want to hear any of my concerns or anything I had to say! She would just say that they are coming along nicely. She will only rely on the Invisalign staff that she sends the scans to. I feel that she doesn’t know what she is doing and will say all well they said it will only take another two months! My previous orthodontist knew what he was doing and had made corrections when working with the scans. When my first two months were up she was excited to take them off. Sure, sell me an expensive treatment and not do the work, fantastic. So I said that it wasn’t enough time! “Dr.” Estrada did three refinements because she and the Invisalign people kept only doing two month increments. And when she did a refinement I would have to wait a month before the new trays would come in. So for eight months I watched my teeth expand and shift right back before my eyes! I cannot tell you how much regret I have for choosing her clinic! Hindsight is 20/20, but I’d give anything to go back to be able to go somewhere else! Now I’m stuck making monthly payments to to this horrible experience! Last month she didn’t even use enough metal wire to cover my upper teeth so they wouldn’t move. She short changed me on the wire and this whole experience! And my teeth have been moving back since my last appointments. The last retainers she made ofcourse took a month to come in and even with this annoying metal permanent wire on, I cannot even use the retainers that were made cause my teeth shifted. My retainers are useless and now I have a weak annoying wire on my teeth that barely works. My left lateral incisor is turning into my gums again and my right lateral incisor is going back behind my right front tooth again! My teeth feel worse than before I started the program! I have a less confident smile and don’t believe her advertisement “you deserve a smile you love”! I can’t even get braces again cause I can’t afford it as I’m paying on this all around subpar treatment! And If you read this far take what I say as my experience only! I wish I would’ve vetted her and went to a seasoned doctor.

The young lady at the front desk was so nice and worked with my schedule for future appointments. I was with another dentist for 8 years and in one visit with Old Kings Dental I prefer there staff and technology over anyone else.

Friends and family had used Old Kings Dental Care and recommended that I get online and try to schedule an appointment. I left a message online for Dr. Simpson at 7:45 PM and I received a text at 7:00 AM the following morning to confirm my appointment that day at 9:30 AM. Dr. Simpson's staff was very helpful, professional, and took an interest in me from the start. Dr. Simpson was able to save my tooth during the initial visit and I couldn't be more pleased with the dental care I received. They are super professional and kind because they are kind not because they are paid to try and be. They break down treatment costs, they explain everything and give several options. Negative experience: I called the clinic to make an appointment for a regular teeth cleaning (dentist), we were told over the phone by the clerk who did not want to give us the name that the cleaning would be charged $99 including dental x-rays and that the desired treatment would be performed on the spot. When we arrived at the place, dental x-rays were taken for an hour and a half, at the end of which they claimed there was no time left to perform the treatment I came for, they forced me to pay for the photos of the teeth, which were a terrible waste of time since I did not need it but only for a regular teeth cleaning. When I expressed my reservations about this lack of professionalism and asked to receive the details of the clerk who gave me the incorrect information, I was met with a closed and cruel attitude from the staff who told me to pay for a service I did not receive and their refusal to give me the names of the people involved. I was severely disappointed and left hurt by the lack of professionalism and lack of appreciation for my precious time that was wasted on photos and recordings that I did not even require. I will never set foot in this shocking place again.

Fantastic experience: This was my initial visit to Old Kings Dental Care and it couldn’t have been any better. Very knowledgeable staff. My hygienist Jessica was great and Dr Simpson was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: By far the BEST dental experience I have ever had (and I am deathly afraid of dentists!) I came in under an emergency situation because I had a tooth that I was really worried about, plus I had a lot of anxiety about so much that needed to be done in my mouth. They did a full comprehensive exam, working me into their busy schedule, a gengival scaling (deep cleaning), and gave me a bridge! I had been without a tooth in this spot for almost a year and I left that day with a tooth! They were extremely accommodating, gentle, and worked with me on payments. I actually am no longer scared of the dentist!

Negative experience: Seemed nice at first, but when I refused a $400 filling I was all of the sudden told that I owe for the free x rays they offered me just 30 minutes earlier. Just be up front with people please.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time at this Dental provider. The service was amazing. My hygienist Jessica was so thorough and professional. I never had my teeth cleaned so good in my life. Dentist was very good. Office staff was also amazing.They were so helpful explaining and answering all our questions. My husband also had his first visit for cleaning with Jessica and the exam. He was very pleased with their service.Thanks for an excellent experience. I highly recommend this Dental practice.
