Fantastic experience: Friendly staff and dentist. They do good work

Fantastic experience: I didn't have to wait long, my hygienist was very informative, she really knew what she was doing! I felt that I was being taken care of. Can't wait till my next visit, no need to be afraid of the dentist's office.

Fantastic experience: I am new to this office, and it was my first visit to the dentist in a few years. Everyone, from the staff to the dentist, was super friendly, and the hygienist did a thorough job. Highly recommend.

Positive experience: I visited the clinic for the first time today, and I was really impressed with the care from the nurses—they were kind and professional. However, I did have a difficult interaction with the front desk staff member in the blue uniform—she was quite rude when I asked for clarification. I hope this is something they can work on, as I did really like the clinic otherwise

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for many years at what is currently named Summit Smiles. Jeanie is my hygienist and always does an extraordinary job. Her work is checked by one of the dentists and they make recommendations for any additional dental work. I have been pleased and highly recommend this practice for any and all dental treatments.

Negative experience: I will never bring my children back. I told them multiple times my daughter was autistic. The dental hygienist who did the X-rays first of all never introduced herself, then she had zero patience or empathy with my daughter. She made my daughter cry and I teared up because my daughter felt unheard. The employee at one point was like if I can’t do the one X-ray we can’t do the rest of the appointment. No one made us felt warm or welcome. I only chose this place because they accepted our insurance but I refuse to ever return.

Negative experience: Over filed and ruined my perfectly healthy tooth for veneer prep….which turned into a full crown which was sent back twice because the color didn’t match. Have never explained any procedures before executing and all were more invasive than I thought and I would have said no if I’d known. Plus other issues along the way. Best experience was actually with a fill in hygienist for a cleaning. He was awesome!

They made the check-in process smooth and were always helpful with any questions. I’ve seen both Dr. Khan and Dr. Sadoon on different occasions, and each time I received excellent dental care. They were both very professional, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the visit. Their attention to detail and commitment to patient care really stood out. I truly appreciate the professionalism of the entire team and highly recommend this office to anyone looking for quality dental care!

Negative experience: First impressions matter, and unfortunately, my experience with this office was nothing but disappointing from start to finish. I originally scheduled my appointment online, but two days later received a message stating the online scheduler was incorrect and that the earliest available appointment was actually a month out. Two weeks before my appointment, I called to confirm and request new patient paperwork. I never received the email, and had to call again. I then received three separate text messages claiming I had not confirmed my appointment via text — even though I had confirmed each time. Two days before the appointment, I called again and finally received the new patient forms. The following day, I was told my information had not been submitted, so I had to complete everything a second time. I arrived 30 minutes early as instructed. The front desk staff did not acknowledge me and continued their conversation while watching me check in. Ten minutes before my scheduled appointment time, I received a text stating my appointment had been pushed back 30 minutes. I was eventually brought back for x-rays, and I want to note that the x-ray technician was absolutely wonderful and the only highlight of this visit. She was kind, professional, and the only person who addressed me by my name. About five minutes later, I was told a hygienist had gone home sick and I would need to wait about 10 minutes. That turned into closer to 45 minutes with no updates. Just as I was about to leave, a hygienist came in and started part of my cleaning. After she left, I waited again before another person came in to actually complete the cleaning. The “toothbrush” portion of the cleaning took roughly four minutes, and several sections of my teeth were missed. Finally, the doctor came in to briefly check the work. I genuinely question why it took three different technicians to complete x-rays and portions of a routine cleaning. Additionally, being referred to as “the patient” or “new patient” instead of by my name felt impersonal and unprofessional. From walking in the door to leaving, my visit lasted 1 hour and 56 minutes — for what should have been a simple cleaning estimated at one hour. My confidence in this office was already shaken before I ever arrived, and unfortunately the appointment only confirmed those concerns. The only positive part of this experience was the x-ray technician.

Negative experience: They do good work but their billing system is very poor (I was overcharged over $2500 and I had to find the error and then wait for nearly a month to get a refund). In addition they advertise 24/7 emergency service but when I called (as a regular patient) I was told the earliest I could see the dentist was 2 weeks out for my "emergency" needs. The work may be good but the service is terrible.

I liked the high tech imaging to help me see what needed to be done. The team of hygienists and assistants were all great, as were the reception and check-out staff. I was very happy with the crown and other services.

Fantastic experience: I recently had my first appointment with Summit smiles as a new patient and I cannot recommend this team anymore! The two Dental Hygienists who took care of me, Tracy and Michelle, are spectacular—they went absolutely above and beyond, and on top of that really helped me feel comfortable after going quite a while with no dental care, and seeing a dentist after it’s been a while can be daunting. These two ladies put me at ease and also gave me more than a few good laughs. The dentist I saw was Dr. Sadoon, who was very kind, non judgmental, shared helpful knowledge and had great bedside manner. The whole team, front desk/registration included, was fabulous. 10/10!

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst front office experience I've ever had at a healthcare provider. I barely got to know the actual dentist because the real issue was the complete lack of professionalism and accountability from the front desk staff (Tracy). Not only were they consistently rude and dismissive, but they also managed to violate my HIPAA rights by sending my private treatment plan and insurance information to the WRONG address. When I brought it to their attention? No apology. No ownership. Just attitude, and finger-pointing. Newsflash: mishandling someone’s personal medical information isn’t just a casual “oops”—it’s a serious breach of trust. If I could give -5 stars, I would!

Negative experience: Edit: I will be seeking partial reimbursement for having to go to another dentist to fix half the work I’ve paid for. A crown literally fell out causing me excruciating pain for 2 days. I was told the fillings are not even close in color and were rushed. I now need crowns on all those teeth because the fillings were not done right. I see plenty of great reviews but when it came to me, I guess it was too much to handle correctly. Again, the staff are very kind and I really like them, but the pain and suffering from this whole experience really sucks. I have pain now that I did not even have before. My teeth suck, I get that, but I went seeking help. I am terrified to go to any dentist now from all of this and that says a lot. I am not asking for a full refund, but I am looking at least at another $10,000 on top of the almost $10,000 I paid just to get back to where I am now plus everything else that was left to do when I stopped going to this office. I was basically told by someone else I should have everything pulled because it’s now a mess, so instead of a nice smile, I will have dentures due to the poor repairs not being save-able. If this office makes this right, I will change the review, but until then it stands as a warning to others like me. Changing review from 5 to a 2 for now. Not too happy at the moment. Will be calling. My recent repairs are all failing and one just broke off. Very nice staff, very nice new building, but having spent 10,000 in recent work which is failing makes me want to go somewhere else. The fillings didn’t match, which I didn’t care too much about until they fell out.

Following her, the young lady who assisted in my extraction was very professional and pleasant. The doctor wasn't too bad himself, ha-ha! All three staff members I encountered were excellent.

Fantastic experience: On the 16th of May, I had my second experience with the Parkside Family Dentistry. It was the first appointment for two crowns procedure. The dentist treatment is not a big fun, but the second time I had fun talking with the doctor and the dentist team. Nice people and professionals provide the dental care in a warm and friendly environment following to their mission! Fantastic experience: It's odd to describe a visit to the dentist as pleasurable but that is what comes to my mind when I think of Parkside Dentistry. Professional, friendly and skillful service from start to finish.

Negative experience: Honestly if I could give -10 stars I would. Dr. Sadoon coerced me into procedures that were not necessary, for financial gain. Extracted my tooth, put an implant that got infected and fell out two months later perhaps of their messy, improper job or because they forgot to prescribe antibiotics. In either case it was a horrible experience. Lost my tooth, put in implant that got infected caused bone loss and fell off, lots of pain and I paid over $2,000. They don’t care. won’t even give me a refund want me to come in a re-do it. As the other guy wrote in review "Its about the money here, not trying to fix underlying problems rather pull teeth, do bone and skin grafts to throw in implants . They are simply there to scam people and make money off their patients. It's a shame this establishment is still open.

Negative experience: We had horrible experience with Dr Sadoon. Stay Away!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I highly recommend Dr. Sadoon and the Parkside Family Dentistry team. We switched to Dr Sadoon three years ago to become “In Network” with our insurance company. Additionally, one of our closest friends shared with us about the excellent experience her 85 year old mother had with this team. Dr. Sadoon listened, addressed her concerns, and treated her with understanding, gentleness, and kindness. Since switching, we have been absolutely delighted with the dental care that we have received from this super friendly, competent, and professional team of great listeners and transparent communicators. Dr. Sadoon is brilliant but humble, kind, & friendly. He is the most technically proficient dentist we have ever visited. Regretfully, I did not take care of my teeth very well before coming to Dr. Sadoon. I had missing teeth, cracked teeth, sensitivity, and decay. I can testify that Dr. Sadoon knows what he is doing. Novocaine shots really used to bother me, but Dr. Sadoon has a technique that makes getting getting numb a non-event. He had to extract some infected teeth and accomplished that very effectively. He prescribed the right antibiotics that got the job done. In the evening after each extraction, he personally called me at home to check on me and to see how I was doing! He made me feel very special and cared for. I needed implants ten years ago, but could not afford them and I was skeptical about how well they would work. Dr. Sadoon reassured me and today he completed my second and third implant/crowned teeth. I just ate dinner and the two side by side new implants performed wonderfully well! No pain, no pressure, and great chewing capability! I am "over the moon" about the outcome. Clearly,, Dr. Sadoon and his assistant Tanya are implant / crown experts! When I checked out today, I told Janie, the fantastic, friendly, and caring Office Manger and McKenzie, the Receptionist with the biggest smile ever, that I really enjoy coming to appointments and that I actually have fun! No kidding! Everyone, including Dr. Sadoon, Tanya, Janie, McKenzie, Kayle, Esther, Crystal and Paula not only do a great job but they make us feel respected, special, appreciated, and cared for. We laugh together, tell each other stories about our families and vacations and feel as relaxed as one can in a dental chair. Parkside Dental is like a family of caring professionals and we highly recommend them.

After a fraudulent charge from their third party affiliate Smile Select, she told me that she would like to see me "TRY" to file a civil case against them. She refused to provide any signed agreement giving them permission to charge this credit card. FRAUDULENT!

Negative experience: Careless approach and lack of attention to detail resulted in a procedure that left me in excruciating pain and with complications that required additional treatment elsewhere. Not only did they fail to address my concerns adequately, but the procedure itself was sloppy and rushed. The aftermath was devastating, with lingering pain and discomfort that I shouldn't have had to endure. The incompetence displayed the team at PARKSIDE family dentistry is unacceptable. I urge anyone considering treatment there to think twice.

Negative experience: I wasn’t going to leave a review on the place but my phones been blown up at least 10 times to do so within the last week. If 0 stars was an option I’d give it. Gave him my trust after having 2 jaw surgeries and he Wanted to completely remove my 4 bottom middle teeth that are mobile and place a bridge (after looking for 2 minutes didn’t even try to explore other avenues. Not only that he shot a pea sized amount of resin into my sisters jawbone during a root canal causing her excruciating pain and ended up telling her she had to schedule another appointment to get it fixed / to get it taken out. He was gonna max out both of my insurances and leave me footing a bill of $10,000! That’s wild. It’s about the money here, not trying to fix the underlying problems. He is not confident in his abilities and rather pull teeth, do bone and skin grafts to throw in implants. Also said my orthodontist was on board with a procedure that he never was on board with. This review was made out of my own volition, nobody told me to make it, it is based solely on my 2 visits throughout the last year with Sudoon. If you care about your children’s, parents, relatives teeth, go to Dr. Rights office in Staunton where you’ll really be taken care of. This place was quick to find out why my bite is the way it is, and came up with a super detailed game plan walking me through step by step, asking the right questions and even making sure I was okay every step of the way. I have faith Dr. Rights team is going to do what’s best for me and my smile given my experience there today 4/3/24! I even Heard from others that there are signs or sticky notes in the Parkside office that say try to get $328 per patient. Beware of this place, he also told me a black stain on my top tooth was a cavity, when in fact it was a stain from when I had braces from my orthodontic treatment. I pray to Jesus y’all get a second opinion before having any other work done at this place!!!
