After having a disappointing experience with another clinic we were initially referred to, I shared my concerns with this office, and Kim, the office manager, was incredibly compassionate, understanding, and reassuring. Meeting Dr. Elder only reinforced our confidence in choosing this practice. He was professional, thorough, and took the time to explain everything step-by-step without making us feel rushed. Fantastic experience: Front desk receptionist area was friendly, appt reminders were helpful and the calls regarding the plan, coverage plan questions and plan was very helpful as well. We were greeted and walked into the consultation room to watch a video for the upcoming wisdom teeth extraction procedure. Negative experience: Zero stars but it would not let me post this review without giving it a star. My husband had a confirmed 1:00 PM appointment with Dr. Riley today. When we arrived, both doors were locked, and a receptionist told us the doctors were not in because of an event. No one had contacted us to cancel or reschedule. We were later told they didn’t have a phone number on file, which is concerning for a medical office. We both took time off work for this appointment, only to find out upon arrival that it wasn’t happening. Very unprofessional front office management. Patients’ time should be respected. Based on this experience, we would not recommend this office. They didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience.

Fantastic experience: I received a phone call from the scheduler for an appointment. While I was scheduling that appointment I was asked if she wanted to be sedated or not. I had no idea the appointment was for a tooth extraction. She fully explained the who, what, when, and why. After, all of that I confirmed the appointment which was the fortunately the next day. Dr. Riley was very professional explained things thoroughly to my. 83yo mom and my self. I am extremely satisfied with their professionalism and care. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I came to Doctor Elder as a teen to get my wisdom teeth removed about 10 years ago. I came back and brought my 7 year old daughter this time to get 2 teeth extractions from an injury she had. The process was painless and quick! She was not even scared! She was so happy to finally have it be over with. She woke up and was kept comfortable with a warm fleece blanket provided by the office staff. I highly recommend to any adult or kid needing to get any teeth removed. Best in Vallejo hands down

Negative experience: They scheduled me almost 2 months Out & They told me my insurance covered it and everything would be fine now here it is less than 24 hrs before the appt & they are saying my insurance won’t cover it because they change their policies every month . My thing is, they knew when I made this appointment and also went in for my in person appointment and still let me wait all of this time and takeoff from work. I will go elsewhere! this is an inconvenience.
